Bait and Switch is alive and well at Bredemann Ford. They wait to the last minute and then try to reneg on the trade in value that they have confirmed with me. Tried to get me to give up one of the new rebates because that rebate wasn't offered when I originally ordered the car. I am a loyal Ford Buyer, plus I have Ford family connections. It pains me to say these guys are dishonest, but I will never buy anything from A Bredemannn again. And I will not be shy about telling everyone I know about my experience. read more

2013 Ford Explorer (my first and last Ford) The car has 16,850 (6/29/15) miles. Last service was done 4/09/15 ( 15,164 miles) they checked brakes and everything was "green" - perfectly fine. All service made by this dealer. Last week (1700 miles after last service) car started make squeaking noise from time to time and last day or two it get louder every time i was driving. I stopped at the dealer to get it checked out. After inspection they told me rear pads and rotors need to be replaced, cost $450! The reason "pads frozen in the mount due to rust" - how could this happen in 3 month after last service during which the brakes were perfectly fine. What is even the point of making and paying for regular inspection at the dealer , if they can not catch problems like this early ?! Very disappointed with the service. Future Ford buyers - THINK TWICE before buying FORD. It is my first car that brakes failed after 18K, getting really scared what's next...I bought Ford because heard the quality is better , but NOT. I went into the dealership on a saturday with the intent on actually buying a car (the ford fiesta to be exact). The one I wanted was not in stock at the dealership so the dealer told me the one I want would need to be brought in from another dealership as a trade between dealerships. He said that no dealerships will be willing to do that on a saturday and that he would call me Monday or Tuesday. I never heard from him, but that's ok because that same day I went to Golf Mill and bough the exact car I wanted (which was brought from another dealership) that day and for a great deal! Paid online 12.38 they wanted 45.00 Exhaust manifold 70.00 Bredemann wanted 477.00. With parts and labor total estimate $2532.00...Told me not worth fixing. 230.00 paid for estimate. Took my Escape in for a recall issue. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes from my appointment time. I like that kind of service!

I started the buying process on line, as I wanted to get as much information beforehand. I didn't want to waste anyone's time if I wasn't going to get a fair deal. Edgar ( their internet specialist) replied promptly to my inquiries, even though they were after hours. The next morning, as promised, he called to confirm my requests. Some dealerships have a "fake" internet person to screen/track sales, to my surprise, Edgar was REAL! I finalized my questions/requests and headed to the dealership and met Edgar in person! Great guy-very knowledgeable! He then introduced me to John / Johnny and the process was smooth and pleasant! He listened, helped talk me through a few decisions and worked to get me a great deal! After working with Steve, in the finance Dept, who was also very knowledgeable and not pushy at all, I drove out with the car I wanted and had researched extensively! And got a great finance rate too! These guys are no pressure and really seem to look out for you. Not a fancy dealership, but a very classy group of guys that still believe in customer service. I found a car on the Bredemann website that I was interested in and requested a quote. I was quickly contacted by Edgar Rodriguez and given a quote and offer to come in and test drive. I thought to myself that I made a mistake and would be hounded by him but that was not the case. The offer, I thought was very fair so I went in for a test drive. I went in without an appointment and Edgar had not arrived for work yet so John Messner took care of me. We went for a test drive and John was very informative about the car. I told him I was looking at other brands and wasn't sure of my decision. He didn't give me any of the usual pressure hypes; that the car wouldn't be here long or that the price could jump over night. He just gave me the information I needed and let me know he was there if I had anymore questions. I returned the next day with my wife and was treated very well be everyone. We sat down and made a deal. Today when I went in to finalize everything, it went very smooth. I sat down with Steve Settler and in just a short amount of time I was on the road with my new car and a new member of the Bredemann family. My whole experience was very pleasant. I've come to this place to get my car serviced for different issues, and every time it seems like pulling teeth when wanting to get a straight answer. The last two times I visited, I had Chris as the advisor. I made an appointment to get my car looked at for, again, multiple reasons. I walk in, 15 minutes early for the appointment, and inform that I am here to drop off. He then begins to take my concerns only after to be told that there were about 20 cars in front of me and that my car wouldn't be looked at today. I stood there, in disbelief. He told me that it was due to the strike being over and cars just flooding in from weeks ago that had been sitting there. Fine. It would have been great to be informed of this at the time of my phone call a week prior, that my car may not be serviced on the day of my appointment due to the back flow of cars. I get it, things happen. But when someone takes time out of their day to drop off a car on a day they have an appointment, they expect for the car to be seen and serviced that day. Then, he had the audacity to compare it to waiting at a doctors office. Um, excuse me, but never have I been to a doctors office that had me wait a day or two to be seen, regardless of how many "cars" were in front of me. Needless to day, I loath going to this location. Chris is very apathetic with his responses and gives little care to his customers and seems like any and every inconvenience I have is MY problem and that he won't see to it to help me. Also, word of advise to the owner, Mr. Bedemann. Even if your customer who is coming in to get their car serviced didn't buy their Ford from you, it would still be great if you offered them a loaner car. The fact that there is no loaner car available for outside purchases means you lose out on outside money. read more

I needed to replace my car because my current Escape had been totaled. I was hoping to find something as close as possible. The first day we were in there were no salesman available so Steve P. stepped up to help us out. Also, the car I was interested in had just arrived and wasn't cleaned up, but I really wanted to see it before I went away for the weekend, so Ira made that happen. While we were away we decided we really probably wanted to buy it, so we returned on Monday and were helped by Rick and Ira. I really appreciate the fact that there was NO high pressure to buy this car whatsoever. Over the weekend Ira had the car Certified (which is a check-up that verifies the car to be almost like knew with a guarantee). Rick was so nice and made everything as speedy as possible as did Steve S. in finance. I can't see us shopping anywhere else in the future. They truly are the best bunch of people here!! Then proceeded to tell me they "made a mistake" two separate times causing the price of the vehicle to jump more than $7k in total. After having bought a car from Golf Mill Ford two years ago, I came to Bredemann for this time and had a far better experience. Ben Bensky listened to what I was looking for and volunteered that Bredemann had a 2-year old/18k miles certified used Fusion that matched all my criteria. I ended up buying the used car for $15k less than I was expecting to spend on a new vehicle and have been very happy with it. Steve Settler also made the closing experience much more pleasant and did not waste my time with numerous options that Golf Mill Ford had pushed in my last purchase. I just bought my (used) new Escape last weekend. I initially went to Bredemann because my parents had a great relationship with them at their Lexus location, and I had great experiences talking my previous car into their Toyota service dealership. I knew I was very interested in getting an Escape and I had researched a few they had in stock so I made an appointment to test drive the very one I'm driving today. I was originally corresponding with Selma through email to set up the appointment and she was great in providing the initial information about the car and always responded in a timely manner. The day of the appointment she was there to greet me and introduced me to Daniel. Daniel was incredible. He was very personable, honest, and was very thorough in showing/describing the vehicle without being pushy or "sales like". He was also great when it came to truly listening to my financial needs and doing everything he could to accommodate those needs. Every team member that was a part of the process was kind, honest, and ready and willing to help. I don't think I could have imagined a better car buying scenario. I bought my car here two years ago, and have had to have it serviced more than10 times due to transmission problems and my car dying on me when I'm driving 3 TIMES. A car that is only 4 years old should not die WHILE DRIVING. I had it towed there a week ago because it died while I was driving it, and now it isn't starting AGAIN!!! Of course the stealership said it wasn't them, it was Ford Motor Corp. And since hybrids are so 'hot" right now they wouldn't change the price and stood by the increase. Went in for regular maintenance and the staff was nice. They called and said they found a problem with the car (that I am sure was not there before I dropped the car off). I declined to have it fixed and they were not so nice thereafter. I can't say they intentionally broke this part, but it is highly improbable that I had this problem was there before I brought the car in. Will never return. read more

I got a 'The Works' oil change today at Bredemann service department. It was a very good experience. The atmosphere was calm and professional. The waiting room could be bigger but it's not a deal breaker. Also, to get to the service department you pull into the driveway between the Ford and Lexus dealers. Make a right at the stop sign. This place is like a small town car dealer. They will get my Ford service business from now on. If you want a circus atmosphere and ALOT of drama go to the Ford dealer in Niles. read more

In 2011 we decided to purchase a new car and I was dreading going to dealers. Our friends had dealt with Brederman for years and told us it was nothing like the other high pressured dealers. We first went to Golf Mill since it was closer to our home and I actually walked out as we were about to "sign on the dotted line". The salesman told me that he and my husband were going to talk finances so why don't I just walk around the showroom and pick out a color! We left and headed straight to Brederman and met the most wonderful people and bought a car that day. We returned several times and their high quality of customer service carries through each department. We returned again this year to just look at the 2016 Escape and our salesman Chester made us feel so at ease and welcome. He's very knowledgeable and absolutely no pressure. We decided again to buy.
