Great atmosphere, calm during the week. The chilaquiles were good the pickles onion was so good. The iced matcha didn't stand out it wasn't bad though. The pancakes looked a lot yummier will try next time :)

The food was honestly really good but the drinks were not even close to being good. We ordered a mango matcha and it honestly was way too watery for our liking.

Loved the service, ambience and food. We shared the spicy chilaquiles, delicious pancakes with caramelized bananas and the chicken and waffles.

4/9/26 Café Fig LA, CA... Ordered Buffalo Wings with Bleu cheese and a refillable Coke to drink. Nice, busy place. Greeter and service was good. Pricey but worth the stop before the LA Kings game! Café Fig is located inside the Hotel Figueroa. Very clean place. High but tolerable noise level, people just talking. Decor is really nice. I never ate messy wings on my lap before, but I did today! Kudos to myself lol !!! Enjoy!

Came here for breakfast Christmas morning. One of only a handful of spots open and taking reservations. It wasn't jam packed, but there were definitely folks in and out during the time we were there. First, I hear the sentiments of a few reviewers regarding tables being close. My love and I speak freely, laugh a lot and have full conversations while dining out, so if anything, there was a point where I hoped we weren't being disturbing to others by simply conversing consistently during our meal, but it seemed fine. With that said, they can definitely create a bit more space between some of the tables. Now the space itself, beautiful. It was Christmas so the decor was festive and a nice touch. We got chicken and waffles and pancakes and sausage, a matcha latte, wellness shot, and black coffee. Service was ok. Our waiter was very kind, all staff were. We did wait a little while for coffee refills. Overall, decent experience.

Quite yum for a hotel cafe!! Lots of options to choose from. Breakfast burrito was pretty good and the yogurt bowl was exactly what I needed! Avocado toast was too tangy for me, though. Lots of seating and service is attentive and quick! Cute interior and great for a quick breakfast.

A nice little restaurant inside the Hotel Figueroa. Open for brunch 7am to 3pm each day. The staff is courteous. Food is good but can take a while even when not busy. Overall, a great choice for breakfast.

Bar Magnolia, inside the Figueroa hotel. Is definitely a site to see. It's beautiful , it's historic, it's vast and everyone is so friendly. We came in for dessert and cocktails . A couple of proper old fashions made exquisitely. We sat by the fire . We are definitely coming back. I know they have parking somewhere . However, we walked from our apartment. Very close to crypto .

A fantastic breakfast spot--even if you're not staying at the hotel! My wife and I wandered in after the Emmy Awards after parties looking for a place that was still open, and Cafe Fig turned out to be a great find! The food was delicious, the coffee hit the spot, and the pastry selection was hard to resist. Yum is an understatement. Service was fast and friendly, and the beautifully decorated interior made the whole experience even better. A great choice for a relaxed, satisfying breakfast in LA.

Food 10/10 - We had the blueberry pancakes with bananas flambé- SO fluffy and flavorful and moist! I cut it up before I remembered I didn't take a photo. Service 9/10 - high energy and attentive staff Ambiance 9/10 - in the beautiful and classy Hotel Figueroa. Lovely spot to nosh or have a drink at the bar. Parking -easy peasy in the lot attached to Hotel Figueroa -$18 for three hours, but at least you don't have to park far. If you'd rather park and walk there are cheaper, park in the lots across Olympic.

We were staying at the hotel and decided to do room service. This place was where we ordered from and we didn't have the best experience. Arancini(10/10): This one was the best out of all of the dishes we ordered! The batter was crispy and the filling was delicious! The sauce that came with it worked really well with the dish. I would order this again! Crispy Chicken Tenders and Fries(6/10): The fries were perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. The tenders felt like there was too much batter compared to the meat, but at least it was crispy. Steak and Frites(3/10): I was really disappointed in this dish. The meat tasted rotten and I took a couple bites to really be sure of it. I also had my boyfriend confirm it with me. We contacted room service and they explained it could be the butter that's giving the steak an off putting taste. They remade it for us with the butter on the side, but the meat still tasted off to me. The fries were the only good thing in this dish. Service(2/10): The food came quickly and the worker that gave us the items was nice as well. The other workers that helped us weren't as kind. When we contacted them regarding the steak, we were immediately interrupted and told that it just comes like that. We tried our best to kindly explain that it still tasted off and they hesitantly remade us the item. When they came to our room with the remake, we were given a weird look and a little bit of attitude. I'm not sure if they were having a bad day, but I thought they weren't being friendly or kind. Overall, I would not come here again and if I do, it'll just be for the arancini.

We had family breakfast at Cafe Fig twice this year--on Sunday, January 19 and Saturday, February 1. Everything we ordered was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the hotel atmosphere was good. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. The only small downside was that they seated us outside both times instead of giving us a table inside, which was a little disappointing.

Banana bread, the Golden Cacao, Expresso Martini
    Alyssa G.

The service is quick. Andres checked on us often, and provided exceptional service. The Expresso martini was delicious! The Banana Bread hit! The Golden cacao latte tasted very fresh! It's a perfect space to relax and have a comfy chat with friends. Can't go wrong with any drink or pastry. The space felt clean and private from the LA noise.

This past visit I came with a large group and was still seated immediately. I didn't realize just how large it is inside, as I usually am towards the front or on the small front patio. ANYWAY The Korean wings were very good but admittedly could have been a bit spicier. The loaded fries had a bit too much melty cheese on top that oversaturated the other ingredients. I ended up paying it(because they leave you no choice), but my biggest issue isn't the amount itself. It's that there was no clear notice beforehand. If a restaurant automatically adds gratuity or service charge, especially for a single diner, that should be clearly disclosed before you order or at least be prominently stated in the beginning. A 20% tip should reflect exceptional service. That wasn't the experience I had. The lack of transparency left a bad impression and felt dishonest. With so many great restaurants in Los Angeles that offer better food, better service, and straightforward billing, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I have been here a few times for dinner but this was first time for brunch. I made a reservation, was asked to confirmed reservation 3x, noted it was celebrating a birthday and gave no preference on seating. I arrived on time, but one of my group was parking. There were a few people milling around and I was greeted with "checking in?" No hello, no welcome, no mention of celebrating and told to let them know when entire party arrived. (This is becoming more common to be seated along with a $25 per person fee if I canceled less than 24hrs. I know restaurants are struggling but come on!) I watched as 'walk-ins' were given priority tables and when our party was complete, she was squeezing in a 3rd chair to a small cafe table right by the pass through door. No asking our preference. When she returned to seat us, I said "you're not putting us at that small table are you?" Her response - "yes...unless you want to sit inside." How was that not a conversation first? A professional would have said "I apologize, where would you prefer to sit? I see you made a reservation, are celebrating an event and we had some unexpected guests for seating options." Perhaps she was having a bad day, or was still reeling from a prior customer interaction but she was NOT up to the standards I equate with Manuela.
