Allen Bros. Filet - delicious and cooked perfect medium rare
    Sapna B.

Loved our experience here for a Saturday date night. Started with some great champagne to start. Loved that our server was available when needed but also gave us space! Started with oysters (they were good but small). For dinner we had the lobster and truffle pasta, 12 oz filet mignon and a side of asparagus. The pasta was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of lobster and freshly shaved truffle on top. The filet was also really good and cooked to a perfect medium rare however I could've done with the sauce on the side. Asparagus was good but slightly under seasoned. For dessert we got the sticky toffee pudding and it was so good! Overall a great experience and can't wait to come back!

I am learning that it does not matter which Cafe Pacific you go to, you are in for a treat! I had some business in the area and my acquaintance suggested we go to lunch and so I tried this location for the first time. Amazing experience all the way around! The ambiance was as classy as any of the Cafe Pacific locations I have been to. As I have grown to expect (and respect!) the service was amazing! Now let's talk about the food! Usually I order the Prime Rib Sandwich here, but today they had a Fried Chicken Sandwich lunch special. Probably the best chicken sandwich I have ever had! I will be back, and ironically, I will be back to this location even though I had never come to it before, it is the closest location for me! Review#2139

Omg I am in love again! Yeah, I know I say this all the time lol. This is such an amazing restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you can absorb the bougieness and it's quite divine. The waiter was very personable and informative about the menu and specials. Cafe Pacific gives me a Capitol Grill vibe but with a better twist! The food was outstanding. Every bite kept me listing for more & more. The drink pours are also generous & that matters when you are a drink connoisseur like myself. This restaurant is #BarbieApproved

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day experience at Cafe Pacific! This was our first visit and open to visiting again. It's a smaller establishment, so reservations are highly recommended! The service was very solid. Attentive enough, but gave us space also. The ambiance is cozy, but nice and romantic. The food was good, very fresh, and presented very well. We tried the spinach dip, tortilla soup, herb crusted sea bass, and red snapper. The sea bass and red snapper were both very tasty. The spinach dip and tortilla soup were just ok. I had very minor issues with some aspects i.e my baked potato was a bit undercooked, so it wasn't soft & fluffy as a baked potato should be. Overall, we would definitely give Cafe Pacific another try.

Amazing food and amazing service. Café Pacific never disappoints, and it is such a special, elevated dining experience. The staff there are so attentive and know everyone by name. I'm sure their steaks are good, but they always have so many great seafood items that we have never tried them. They also make great cocktails and have an exceptional wine list.

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend Café Pacific!

...Every last family occasion? Right here. We made a reservation via OpenTable. If running early, the bar has got you for some sweet potato sticks, cocktail, tea or cappuccino. The venue has been a mainstay in the HP area for a minute. It has its regulars. Fine dining that's the next level experience. Maître d' and servers are personable and warm. Venue is intimate. There's a movie theater and designer stores within the plaza- for a pre-post meal promenade/adventure. Valet available and works for tips. Enjoy!

I don't think it's socially acceptable to write a short story or novel on this. Annalise was the best server I think I have had while dining out. Was referred to the restaurant by a client while here on business. The food was phenomenal. You need to get the pepper steak. The sauce, incredible. There isn't one negative thing about this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.

I took my king to a fine dining place we have not tried before: Café Pacific. It is small inside, so booking reservations was the right move for us. Upon entering, we were seated to the left in a more closed off, intimate area which was nice considering we were for a birthday dinner. The bread and butter came, and it was really good but perhaps not quite as good as other competitors (i.e. Ocean Prime). We ordered some drinks (Old Fashioned and Paper Plane), and both were very strong yet simple and tasty. Next was the appetizer: spinach and artichoke dip. As someone who is not the biggest artichoke fan, let me say that this was amazing!!! The artichokes were diced very well, which is normally an issue when eating this. Not this time, though! It is perfect for sharing. You may need more of the bread-like crisps that come with it though as the portion size is not small. I ordered the Asian Chilean sea bass, while he got the salmon. I did not try his salmon, but he did try my sea bass which we both agreed was nothing short of incredible! The fish itself was cooked perfectly, and the crispiness on the outside of it was absolutely divine. The soy sauce was not too salty, and the spinach soaked it up which elevated the whole dish. I also thought the jasmine rice was great and cooked perfectly. This is one of the higher-priced seafood dishes but for good reason! Also, the asparagus fritti, which was fried with grated parmesan, was wonderful with a great creamy garlic butter sauce of some sort! On the other hand, my boyfriend was not as impressed with his salmon dish. He said it was simply grilled and was tasty but could have used more flavor (perhaps a sauce or something to help elevate the smoked salmon flavor). I don't think he will order that again. I ordered another drink (Vesper), but unfortunately I did not like it at all. With a combination of gin, vodka, and wine, it tasted like Dawn dish soap. That is not an exaggeration. I didn't send it back because I don't like to do that, so I drank it and kept quiet. For dessert, they gave us their signature dessert with ice cream, nuts, house-made chocolate sauce, and some kind of caramel-almond crisp. It was different yet delicious! It reminded me a lot of fried ice cream which I haven't had in a very long time. Overall, I do feel that for a little over $200 for everything, the food was great but not quite $200 worthy (maybe more like $140). Would I come back? Well, there are a lot of fine-dining competitors where I know I'm going to get exactly what I want and will easily pay for it. Café Pacific just needs a bit more flavor with their food. I would return but not for a long time.

I came here for a birthday dinner. The staff was super friendly and was very attentive and answered all of our questions on their very large menu selection. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table. It was very tasty. For my entree, I ordered salmon that came with sautéed spinach and truffle fries. It was all very good and nice portion sizes. We also shared a dessert, which was the Pecan ball. It was basically ice cream, dipped in chocolate, rolled in pecans. Even though it was a simple dessert, it was tasty. My only complaint was that you could tell that this restaurant has been around for years, since 1980. The seating is very close together. It was very challenging to get in and out of our seats without hitting the seats behind us. Thankfully, everyone was very friendly and didn't seem to mind the tightness. They also offer complimentary valet parking and if you choose to self park, the parking lot is just a few yards away and there is decent parking, but it is in a shopping center with other businesses so I would definitely recommend taking advantage of the valet parking. This is definitely a nice restaurant to go to for a special occasion or if you want to treat yourself.

Helped a friend celebrate her birthday here. I arrived a bit late and the hostesses had a difficult time locating my party by name. Thankfully, the restaurant is small and I was able to find them. Our server Walter was very entertaining and helped to make the night memorable. I ordered a lemon drop and a redfish dish that didn't look like much but was really flavorful! Crab Louie salad was ordered for the table and it too didn't look like much but blessed my tastebuds! The staff were friendly, drinks strong and food delicious and I highly recommend giving them a try.

But the description lured me in with the promise of a fantastic martini with an "extra martini on the side". Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it. We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful. She asked if we had questions and gave us some highlights of the menu. We ordered another round along with Meatballs Troubadour, the Heavenly Sourdough and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice.
