Highly recommend this place to all locals and visitors looking for good Vietnamese food in the Gardena area! The menu offers something for everyone whether you are looking for meatless options, sandwiches in the form of Banh Mis and great soups in Pho and Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup). We honestly couldn't decide what to get so we decided to get everything! We started with the summer roll sampler which came with options for Shrimp, Lemon Grass Grilled Pork (Thit Nuong), and Vietnamese Grilled Pork (Nem Nuong). The Banh Mi comes fresh with grilled meats and a side of Pho broth to soften up the bread for the perfect bite. The Pho portions are huge and filled with a ton of meat and veggies. Perfect for the day after a fun night out. We also got the Bun Bo Hue that comes in spice levels 1-10. I decided to be adventurous and get a 9. It was incredibly spicy but also very flavorful. Every bite definitely warms the body and soul. I'd probably recommend spice level 5 for the average consumer if you don't like spicy. Finally the best thing about this restaurant is the service. I went for noodles and got a big heaping BOWL OF DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I ordered spring rolls, egg rolls and a big bowl of shrimp pho. There were two of us and I explained to the waiter that I would pay more to get and an extra-large order for us to split and asked for two empty soup bowls. They brought the order and I asked for a ladle. He said they did not have a ladle (hmmm, soup restaurant with no ladle???????) I asked him to take it back to the kitchen where there was a serving spoon and portion two servings out in the individual bowls. He said he could not do that. I asked for the manager and was unsympathetically told they could not bring food back once served. I pointed out the absurdity of the situation but she was unresponsive and unhelpful and dismissive. The stupidity of the situation was maddening and completely ruined the meal. I will not be returning! I went to high school down the street from here and never knew it existed! The interior is very welcoming with tables and semi-private booths. Very clean bathroom as well. I have tried the Nem Nuong (pork sausage spring rolls) with peanut sauce and well done brisket pho with extra green onions! I thoroughly enjoyed my picks and had enough for leftovers. Don't let the shady parking lot fool you. This spot is a gem. My friend found it and I thought "oh god she's not going to like it cause it's in a ghetto looking area" but trust me when I say this is the best pho I've had. They're so nice too. Last time they had new Oxtail pho and it was AMAZING. Inside is way cuter and not what you would expect. Thai iced tea is nice and sweet just how I like it. The combo pho that has all the meats is my go-to but it might be debunked by the Oxtail pho. Shrimp spring rolls are tasty as well. Peanut sauce is average...not as smooth as I'd like. I've lived around this spot my whole life and have only recently discovered it. Definitely our favorite spot to go to and the times we've gone we've gotten seated fairly quick. Haven't experienced a night time wait on a weekend though. I can imagine they get super busy. Do yourself a favor and try this spot out! read more

Pho ever had super friendly staff. There wasn't a wait time. The food was good. The restaurant had a really cute atmosphere. Only bad thing I can say is that my sister had an issue with her pho so she sent it back. She the brisket pho. Other than that it was a good experience. Good date night spot. read more

Disappointed, very disappointed. We've gone to Pho Ever about 3 times this year (2021) already and we've liked their food each trip; my husband has ordered their oxtail pho each time and would compliment the richness of the soup and the fall off the bone tenderness of the meat. So when I craved for something soup today, I decided to get their oxtail pho. Imagine my disappointment when my pho arrived and the meat are noticeably still sticking to the bones. Tried to cut through with the chopsticks and nope, still won't budge. The fat and cartilage surrounding the meat are still tough and meat itself chewy. Clearly these parts of the oxtail weren't boiled enough--not my first time dealing with/eating oxtail as I have enjoyed Hawaiian oxtail soup, Filipino kare kare and oxtail pho at other restaurants. We asked the server if he can have the kitchen change what I got to softer parts. When he came back, he said that the kitchen told him that's how their oxtail have always been cooked. I beg to differ. It's completely different from what my husband used to order/get from them just months ago. I fished out a part (see pictures) so I can show the manager just how tough and difficult it would be to eat (I had to ask for a spoon and fork), but the manager would not come out. Came here with my family to try this new spot. Server was polite and kind. We placed our order and looked forward to a delicious meal. The restaurant was not busy during the afternoon, so we assumed the food would be prepared in a timely manner. 15 minutes turned in 30 mins. We started to see other patrons being served first (they arrived after us). When we followed-up and checked with the server, she said it'll be out shortly. After another 20 mins the food came out. After waiting for our food for almost an hour we lost our appetite. Food was average. Will not be stepping foot in this establishment again. More like 'Taking Pho Ever'. read more

It's now PHOwing around! Safe to say you will enjoy your meal at the same cost of your average Pho place, except this time you can get $5 off of a minimum order of $30! Not bad, all I had to do was order a soda to tip it over the $30 min from $28.5 when I was there last time with a friend. BEWARE! at level 5 spicy my soup was red hot RED! Like the movie RED. Located in the more shady part of Gardena, with everything in the mall looking like it's been bombed or something, it was a pleasant surprise to learn that Pho ever is probably the cleanest pho place in town. As soon you enter the restaurant you can tell that you're in the right place. It's clean, properly AC'ed and the staffs are very friendly; eager to greet you in. You may chose between a table out in the hall or a semi private booth. Where you will find the usual condiments and utensil for Pho. The quality of food is well above average, but the broth may be up for a debate depends on you preference. It is not as junky as per say pho consome, but it isn't as clean as pho Rin in LA. Over all the quality of the food here has earned my well deserved praise along with their customer service. read more

Nope! We had this delivered by UberEats and it was disappointing. I'll start with the fact the packaging was terrible! The pho bowl was at the bottom, which led to everything stacked on top to teeter over and spill. We ordered the chicken pho, but was sent the wrong order. We received beef pho and to our surprise, the meat was raw and packaged separately with the noodles, which was now pink from the bloody juices! We also ordered the chicken and beef spring rolls, which were ok, but the meat was a weird sausage link consistency. The only decently good selection was the beef fried rice. not bad for a hole in the wall pho place. I've driven through the area but have never really noticed it since the plaza across is much brighter and newer so I tend to look at that plaza. I've been trying to find a new good pho place to go to and this may be one of those places. It's located at the corner of the plaza next to the tuxedo shop. we walked in and were greeted right away by the man at the counter. the menu is a pretty generic vietnamese/pho joint menu so you'll prob find your usual pho or noodles. I got the regular pho rare steak and my bf got the vermicelli. the pho was pretty spot on. I love how hot the soup is when it comes out. They did give a lot of green onions and reg onions on top, which kinda filled the bowl a lot. They also gave a lot of meat compared to most places. There was a group of 3 adults next to use and they got a large and it was pretty large compared to the regular size. or they got the super bowl pho because they did split it between two people. overall the place is pretty clean, one thing that was kinda gross was one of the employees put back the forks to the clean bin while cleaning after a table. When you first walk in, theres a small room on the right where they have water and utensils and after you order, they bring you napkins, forks, spoons, and chopsticks in a small basket. I mean theres no other reason for someone to clean a table and walk to the area where they keep clean utensils and then go back to cleaning the table. I heard the metals clinking of the pile of metal utensils, but I didn't necessarily see the fork being taken there. this is all my assumption. but I put my utensils in my soup so they had to clean it. read more

My partner and I stumbled across Pho Ever and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered some egg rolls, the combination pho and the lemongrass chicken bun bowl. For drinks, we got a Thai tea w/ oat milk and an Arnold Palmer. Everything was so delicious! The pho broth had lots of flavor + depth and the lemongrass chicken was so tender! Everything I ordered from Ph Ever was great. I got the lychee iced tea, and it was amazing. I could really taste the lychee. This iced tea is better than tea you can get at Starbucks or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. The spring rolls (gi cun, I think is how it's spelled) were so filling. Just half of one is more than enough. The chicken eggrolls (ch giò, I think is how it's spelled) were also great, and had a nice crunch to it. The rare steak and brisket (I think it's called tái chín) ph was extremely heart warming to have on a cold LA winter evening. The broth tasted phenomenal. The bbq lemongrass chicken bánh mì (bánh mì gà nng is what I think it's called) was also really tasty and filling. The bread was perfection. (All of the meats by the way come from Costco.) The ph was so phking good on this cold day! And I finished it off with some guava candy too. And aside from the foods and drink, the people who work there offer great service and have an interesting history behind them too. I believe the owner was one of the boat people refugees who came from Vit Nam to America, and was looking after his ten siblings before he became a successful business owner. His daughter (I think Jenam is her name) and I talked about how hard working our immigrant families are, and how we're so privileged to have the comforts that we have because of them. Considering the area, this is probably the only good pho & bun bo hue place around. I especially like the little private dining areas throughout the restaurant. So it could become a private setting when it's loud or busy in the center of the restaurant. The service was fast & friendly despite my rowdy group of coworkers. For $4.25, this should be filled to the brim. If it were a 2 dollar cup of 7-Eleven coffee, I wouldn't care. There's a huge profit margin on coffee, so why not fill 'er up and make the customer happy?? Very disappointed in my first experience here and probably won't even go back to try their Pho. read more

This is me and my sons' favorite pho restaurant in the world! We've had pho in many different areas in So Cal and nothing comes close to the hospitality and service of Pho Ever. The restaurants owners are always smiling and greeting guest personally. This is a true family business and they treat you like family when you walk in. It's no wonder they have so many yelp awards on the wall. The food is on another level. My 11 yr old loves the pork spring rolls , beef pho soup. My 8yr old loves the bbq lemongrass beef banh mi (sand which) lol. I try new items off the menu just to broaden my horizons and I've yet to be disappointed. No matter if you stick to pho soup, like vermicelli or sandwich's you will not be disappointed with your choice or the service you receive! We love you Pho Ever!!! read more

My husband was craving pho so I yelped this place and looked at the menu. The first thing that caught my attention was the braised pork belly Bahn Mi. So we headed over, dined in and order it along with a bowl of pho of course, along with a Vietnamese coffee. The inside of the restaurant is cute small but cute. Our server was awesome and very hospitable. So our order came and I bit into the sandwich and it was so good. The bread was soft, meat was tender, and the portion was just right. It came with a side of dipping sauce, which I think was broth. I also added a fried egg to the sandwich, which was the perfect addition. I almost didn't want to give the other half to my husband but I couldn't deprive him of tasting one of the best bahn mi sandwiches ive ever had. So we switched foods and I got to try the pho. Lots of flavor on the pho but to me, I think all pho tastes the same. It just depends on what u add to it. The Vietnamese coffee was strong but good. Overall, everything turned out good and service was great. They even have cute shirts that you can buy. Check this place out. I'm definitely coming back for a shirt and to try more food! read more

The food is delicious -and there are vegetarian options! I always get the veggie pho and add lime and sriracha. Sit in one of the booths to get the full experience. I've tried other pho places since then and I still find this is the best pho spot in the South Bay area. Good food, inexpensive and great customer service. The taste is on par with most Pho restaurants I've been to, and I've been to a lot in the Gardena and Torrance areas. Where they fell short was their service and lack of attention to details. It felt like a family business where a few of the family members didn't want to work there. Some things I noticed was there were 8 booths, only 1 was taken, and dirty dishes on all the others. Also noticed a number of staff just standing around chatting. We preferred a booth, so we were a bit disappointed. Late nite, we were hungry, we let that slide. We saw their checkin offer, $X off with purchase of $25 or more. This was about 3 dishes and there were 2 of us. So we ordered 2 dishes for here, and 1 to go. The waitress (shorter asian lady) comes back asking what did we order again. We repeated what we ordered by she runs off before I can say the full dish name of the 3rd item we ordered. I basically was only able to just say "One Combination Pho, 1 Chicken Vermicelli, and 1 Seafoo..." That was sort of the first sign something was wrong, if you forgot the order the first time, wouldn't you write it down and repeat it back to the customer to make sure you got it right? So we got out 2 orders, they swapped the chicken with the sea food on the vermicelli. It's late, we were really tired from working from 8am - 9pm, so we let it slide. We're needed some water and a fork, we kept waving and saying excuse me. No one paid attention, until the African American guy just walks out of the restroom and spots us, I guess he was getting off his break. At that point, service runs at a normal pace. We finish our 2 dishes, and noticed we haven't received the 3rd yet. It's late at this time and we wanted to go home, so we ask for the bill to realize we didn't qualify for the check-in offer because we were $5 shy of the requirement. Great flavorful seasoned pho. I came here with no expectations but was presently surprised to find a great bowl of pho. Not the best I have ever but definitely hit the spot after a night out. Most pho have a clean broth, but this one had a clean taste but was also seasoned nicely. The meat assortment was good but nothing special. Overall, it was a great bowl of pho. As for the service, they were fast and prompt and were very friendly with taking our orders. The ambiance and decor had a nice feel to it. It was well decorated and had a very homey feel. All in all, it was great place to come if you're looking for a great bowl of pho at a reasonable price. Definitely pricer than other pho places, but well worth it. Just ordered from here and their broth is not right. It was disgustly sweet. Had to throw the entire pho away. I don't recommend this place.
