My wife and I go here all the time and I suggest you try this place out. We usually park one street north of Beverly Drive. The meters are usually off when you eat dinner and there is also usually parking on that end. BUT we like to park there to stop by the supermarket on the corner and get a bottle of wine. NO CORKAGE FEES! The crispy pita bread and tomato garlic-y awesome sauce as a bread substitute is to die for and we usually ask for more and they oblige at no extra charge. All the food we have tried was excellent. But we mostly share a plate of the beef and chicken or the plate of filet. Plenty for two people to eat and be full with pita bread to wipe it all up. The girls working are lovely on the eyes and lovely to talk to, chat them up! All said and done the price is $30 with app and a wine and we are loving life! read more

We went to this restaurant once and will not be returning. I was hoping to find some good Turkish food since it is in BEVERLY hills but I was a little disappointed. I ordered the Turkish dumplings (Manti) and my husband ordered the veggie combo. Manti wasn't bad even though it was a little colder than I expected but the taste was good. My husbands veggie combo was good for the most part but came with tabouleh which is not Turkish at all. When we asked the waiter what it was, he told us it's Arabic and that we could have opted for another salad in the beginning but didn't offer to change it, even though he saw that the salad was untouched. I think for something as cheap as salad and for the prices they charge they could have offered my husband a different salad. Delicious! We literally stumbled across this charming cafe while walking on Beverly Dr. Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. This is one of my favorite cuisines, so I'm a tough critic. I had the lentil soup, which was more of a puree, the chicken kabob plate, and turkish coffee. The music playing in the background created this very relaxed, cozy cafe vibe, I actually felt like I wasn't in LA. Not to mention, everything on the menu, was very reasonably priced. I will be back. We had a great meal here on a Saturday night in early April 2018. We had recently returned from a couple of weeks in Istanbul and Cappadocia in Turkey and really hoped we would be able to find Turkish food in Los Angeles that was comparable in quality to what we had there. We were not disappointed. We had İçli Köfte (Fried Kibbeh) and Çhoban Salad as appetizers, Istanbul's Special Kebab Beyti and Çhoban Kavurma as main courses Kunefe for dessert. All were excellent. The owner, chef and staff of the Café are Turkish and were very helpful in making suggestions based on our interest in original, Turkish dishes. Service was attentive. We had reservations at 7 pm, which were not necessary, but by 8 the place was full. No license for beer or wine, but not corkage, so BYOB. There is a Pavillion grocery store right across the street if you forget. On street parking only near the Beverly Center but parking was not difficult. Highly recommend this place. read more

I'm from England where Gyros shops are everywhere and service is easy and simple, even in little villages. And here I am in LA. At 6:30 on New Year's Eve we attempted to order a Gyro Sandwich and a few sides. Taking the order, giving the address, phone number and confirming all of the above would have been easier had the woman answering the phone understood my American wife better: she had to repeat everything three times. When we called an hour later to check on our order, she said, "Oh, we've been calling and calling you, they can't find you, can you give me your address again?" After repeating and spelling the address 2 more times, she then asked my wife to give our order again! How could she need that if the order was prepared and they couldn't find the address? Our phone was by my side the entire time. Perhaps the service and food in the restaurant itself is good: my advice is never order for delivery. I won't be tempted to try it in person myself. Everything was ok till we suddenly got our check on our table without asked if we needed anything else. It happened right after our dessert kunefe arrived our table and just had first sip of our teas . I called the waitress back and asked her what if we needed one more cup of coffee or something else? She gave me a sharp look and said her 'sorry'... It was 8 pm only and they had a group arrived and started their apps next to our table and there were 4 more tables except us. We were 2 people and a baby sleeping in stroller all the time of our dinner. The bill was 50$ and just spent 1 hour in total. It was a really rude behavior and i got a real shock after i learned she was the owner's wife!! This place is managed by non-proffesional people whom don't know restaurant business well. If you want to get rid of your costumers early on sundays and go home, you should put a sign in front door says:'customers after 8 pm inside of restaurant are not welcomed! One star is only for the food and other 3 different waitress took care of our table in different times during our dinner.
