Wow as we were mapping to this place we passed it like many people because of it being in a small multiple story Plaza with a small parking structure entrance and lot of cars parked on the street I know because we had to make a U-turn and then I looked at a couple people after us they also made a u-turn so maybe they need to put more signs or something to Showcase their location anyway as we parked our car in the parking structure and walked up the steps the plywood open pore wall Aesthetics along with displays of Many Items made it look very inviting and welcoming as you go in you see that they offer samples of their iced tea and also water as you wait for your order they have kiosk orders stations and friendly staff that can help you as well there's plenty of merchandise to look at while you are waiting as you are looking around you can tell that they are very supportive of the community they offer documentary coffee for First Responders and they advertised that they are open to do collaborations with the community they have early birth specials coffee and bagel and they also have specialty Bagels I want to try all of them but we were only able to try three this time and we look forward to try more in the very very very near future the ones that I got we really really loved it's definitely a big old explosion in your mouth and they also have specialty drinks and my kid loves matcha they have a special match a drink it tastes a little bit more like juice but she's not complaining about it read more

So good! The bagel was soft and pillowy, not chewy. The stuffing was a bit too much for me (I got the pepperoni pizza bagel). My boyfriend got one of the bagel sandwiches. Apparently the time to come is saturday brunch time, cause I was supposed to meet my friend at 10:30 on saturday and there was ample parking in the garage. Such friendly people working omg, there was a lady who asked if I needed help even with the counter service, and the free water and tea was so sweet! My friend was afraid that this place would be overhyped, but she thought it was great! I went in with no expectations and a request from the cousin I was crashing with to get them extra bagels lol. Calic's bagels are different than your grocery store bagels - they're almost fluffy inside with a chewy exterior. My friend and I split two bagels - the bacon scallion and the pepperoni pizza bagel. Both were excellent. There was not a trace of pepperoni in sight, but the cream cheese filling was like eating the tomato bisque version of cream cheese, which I love. The bacon scallion was savory, and didn't also have the sweet that I was worried would come with it. It is a lot of cream cheese, but it's the whipped fluffy kind. I didn't mind the amount of cream cheese, but my cousin's husband found it to be too much. Idk, get an extra bagel and use the spread for that lol. But also, I feel like the bagel and the cream cheese were both fluffy and light, so I didn't feel as full as I thought I would after seeing the calics, or I normally would if I had the same amount of bagel and cream cheese from somewhere else. Order through a kiosk and it was quick and fast. Ordered the original calic bagel and the mango matcha latte. Wait time was roughly 20-25minutes. The bagel was warm, fluffy and stuffed perfectly with the right amount of cream cheese. The bagel was soft enough to tear. Cream cheese had so much flavor and perfect amount of garlicky taste. The mango matcha was not a good mixture that I enjoyed. I felt like the mango made the matcha taste more bitter than usual. I did not enjoy the matcha. Came here at 930 on a Wednesday. You come in and are instantly hit with a fragrant bagel scent. Theres a display case and many pictures on the wall to get a better visual and to make it easier to decide what you want to order. You order on one of two tablets at the front and the staff is helpful if you have any questions whilst ordering. I got a bacon scallion and my boyfriend got the standard. It took about. 10-15 mins for the order to come out since there was a pretty long queue of orders in front of us (filled with delivery and app orders along with in store orders). The bacon scallion was 10/10. Super flavorful with the crispy bacon bits on top. The scallion flavor was also super prominent and is good if you like scallions. The bagels are super fluffy and warm and fresh. My boyfriend ended up liking his bagel as well but said he preferred mine since it had more flavor which is a given. Absolutely delicious! I snagged the LA Lox bagel sandwich and loved every bite. The lemon went perfect with the salmon and the bagel was crunchy yet soft for the perfect texture, allowing itself to melt in my mouth with the rest of the sandwich. This place has been on my list since it opened and I finally stopped by. I feel like the bagels can be a bit overwhelming but are good to share especially if you're getting a filled bagel. These are definitely some of the top bagels in LA. A rather simple concept but a perfect execution, "stuffed" bagels in a sense that can be pulled apart! Staff is super friendly and helpful for any questions. I ordered the banana matcha and sadly wasn't a fan.
