Absolutely hate this location. Every single time I come here they charge me a different price. I get the same thing every time, half chicken half steak. 2 dressings 3 toppings. I've gotten charged $14,16,18,22, even $28! The Pasadena location when you build your own bowl you actually pay that price not whatever the cashier feels like you should pay. The workers are so rude when I mentioned it wasn't the same price as I paid yesterday and I don't even blame them bc she told me manager that "I'm mad bc I got charged incorrectly" I'm not mad, I just wanna get what I paid for. The manager didn't even do anything. Said he would call me back bc there was a lunch rush and apparently I'm not important enough even though I told him I was part of that lunch rush. Oh and he never even called me back. (Oh and the steak wasn't edible and cold and very chewey but that's another subject) the manager and half the workers should be fired. I will say though one of the workers was a total sweetheart and seemed like she was holding the place from crumbling she should be manager. I'm still waiting on my call read more

CAVA is a great Mediterranean chain that opened up near me. As someone who loves Chipotle, I got recommended this place by my best friend. The whole, down the line, experience for getting your bowl (or pita ‍) ready to eat with different stations is incredible. The variety of options make this a definitive go to for eating out or dining in. Coupled with fantastic staff, like Lily, who really make this location shine even more. Lily was attentive and provided the perfect service to go along with CAVA's mission of serving delicious food as a unifier. Cesar took the time to call me and confirm aspects of the order, and even though it was their busiest time of day, they had it ready early and everything ran perfectly smoothly. The food is good when you get what you are hoping for, but more often than not that is not what you were getting. I have mobile ordered maybe five times and every single one of them something was wrong with the order and needed to be fixed. On top of this the past three times I have come in they are out of, roasted vegetables which is vegetarian protein option. This happens with at least one of the things I would put on my bowl every single time I order. They have plenty of people on the floor for some reason it's always very slow. I've had CAVA take-out twice in the last couple of months from two different locations, including this one in Burbank. I didn't go to either of them, as I wasn't the one picking up, but I did very happily eat the food. CAVA is a national chain offering fast casual Greek fare that's pretty ideal for work lunches. The menu is made up of bowls and salads and pitas, with calorie counts under each item. I've had the chicken and rice bowl, which is tasty and substantial, with grilled chicken, brown rice, tzatziki, hummus, feta, pickled onion, tomato, arugula, and Greek vinaigrette. It comes with the excellent, flavorful house pita. I've also really liked the spicy lamb meatball pita, the soft pita stuffed with lamb meatballs, hummus, tomato, cucumber, pickled onions, cabbage slaw, pickles, garlic dressing, and skhug. I may or may not ever go inside a CAVA, but I like what they do and am sure I'll have another pita-centric lunch from them somewhere down the line. Had a disappointing experience after driving 6-8hours from norcal(pls open a location there), I was so excited to make it in time but was met with hostility. All workers at the front refused to acknowledge me and seemed far more into their conversation but silly me I'm the intruder. After standing there waiting for someone to make eye contact with me, I tried to ask out loud if they were closed and immediately the girl yells over me "we'll be right w you" ok thanks. The guy making my bowl straight up threw my falafel at the wall behind him because oh my bad I changed my mind to half falafel after looking at the gorgeous honey chicken. I was so taken aback! At the edge of tears when the beautiful angel of a cashier Luigi finally acknowledged me with superior customer service and a wonderful smile! I felt instantly relieved that I wasn't some bother to the environment, he even listened to my complaint and offered me grace and apology on behalf of his very obviously tired and unenthusiastic coworkers. He made sure I felt great with my experience at the location up until the moment I walked out the door. Used to be a hater until I finally found a bowl that I loveeeeee. The line can get long and takes a while for things to get moving so be patient. Also can be a little pricey so beware if you're making your own bowl. Plenty seating inside and out and an easy spot to get your online orders if that's your preference. read more

I am overjoyed that CAVA opened up in Burbank, especially since Yalla Meditteranean closed. I ordered a build-your-own bowl with a bunch of toppings. I will say Cava isn't the cheapest option for lunch, but they have more unique and premium offerings than other DIY bowl places. This new location has some kinks to fix, as do all restaurants when they first open. Employees seemed flustered, cutlery needed to be refilled, and many trays/plates needed to be cleaned up. But nonetheless, I will for sure be ordering from Cava very often :) read more

This CAVA location is always so busy and the line always takes a good 20+ minutes, but I will say the food is very worth it. You can get a pretty packed bowl for a good price (unless you get the expensive additionals). I do feel as if sometimes during rush hour, the workers feel a little understaffed, but nonetheless they always provide a great service. They hire kind people and that are always helpful explaining the extra charges, which I very much appreciate that, because not all places necessarily do that. For that, a special thanks to Justin, he was very clear and patient. And the very kind young lady on the cash register, Luna, explained to me about the rewards point program. I'm very glad I know now, since I've been coming for weeks. Overall, would recommend everyone to try, especially to get the classic pita chips and one of their juices, it's always the best. Just left here and had very poor customer service experience. I ordered one of the curated bowls. I was asked do I want everything on it that it comes with, in which I responded with yes. The worker proceeded to ask me OK what do I want on the bowl? I said I would like everything that it comes with. The worker then replied with "I don't know what it comes with". First of all, l've been to several cavas but this one def is the best one l've ever been to. Not only was the staff super sweet but so patient since it was my friend's first time trying cava. Arely walked him through it and even let us try one of the different proteins to make sure we chose the right one. Their portion sizes are so small, the employees scrap off so much from the scooper for the toppings. Some employees don't do this and some do, when they do it barely leaves anything. Also for the free pita, you always have to ask for it. They will never just give it. The last few times I've gone they have run out of the dressings. The honey chicken is very good.
