Had my girl riding Around with me as I did UberEats. She gets hungry and ask for deep dish from this place. I've never been here but will come back. We had the all meats deep dish and some wings. It took about 30 minutes or more but Worth the wait!!! OMG!! By far the best pizza I've had. Will only get pizza from here from now on. I believe they have pasta options as well. They were pretty busy and only had 2 servers, so serves wasn't the best but if you grab their attention, they are more than happy to help. They also had a guy playing live music. As a native Chicagoan I am particular about my deep dish pizza. No, UNOs is not the best, nite your tongue, literally. We love our deep dish spinach pizza and miss it a lot. When I found this place I was happy to try it but didn't have high expectations. I was rewarded with a crust that rivals Giordano's and the right amount of fillings. It could have used more spices (oregano...) and my son thought it needed more cheese but we really liked it and will definitely be going back. read more

My wife was leaving the city for an extended work trip, and we wanted some pizza on her last day. We were searching and found Chicago's pizza and thought it might be cute since neither of us had tried Chicago style pizza before. There was some confusion when we first walked in as we did not know if we were to sit down, or to place our order at the counter. Once we sat down, the first thing our waitress said to us was "I'm sorry this is my first day, and they have not trained me at all. I am running around with my head cut off" of course we were taken-aback when she first told us, but she seemed like a nice lady, and we were in a really good mood. Once we started placing our order with her, there was some obvious confusion from her side, which was expected since it was, again, her first day. We ordered one of their combos, which came with a calzone, mozzarella sticks, a regular pizza, and a Chicago style pizza. Both of which were only 8". We knew that the Chicago style pizza was going to take around 40 to 45 minutes, so we asked her if we could get all of the other stuff before that so we weren't just sitting around waiting hungry. She said "of course" but unfortunately, this did not happen. After an hour of waiting, I asked the lady how much longer? We weren't very upset yet, because we had figured that maybe they had some orders holding them up. She said she'll go check on it as if she agreed with me that it was taking longer than usual. She then came back 20 minutes later, stating that our ticket has been "lost" and that she would get us some free salads on the house, and a discount on our whole ticket. While she was telling us this, another waitress who had seem to have been there for a few years, interrupted our waitress and said that our order is ready. so, our waitress went back into the kitchen and checked on it. Then came back out and said "as I was saying unfortunately we do not have your food yet. I'm sorry about her, she likes butting into other peoples conversations. (Talking g about the other waitress) it will be out in about 20 minutes. I am very sorry I will get those salads right away" another 30 minutes goes by, and they start bringing out our dishes. The salad was not great. The calzone was fine, but the cheese tasted like plastic. The mozzarella sticks were clearly frozen and then heated up. The regular pizza was terrible. It not only tasted like it was frozen, but also microwaved. The marinara sauce was actually pretty good. The Chicago Pizza came out 15 minutes after we got everything else we ordered, and it was actually pretty good. I hate to leave such a low review since the main reason why we went there was actually decent, but this was probably the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. When we had gone up to the counter to pay. The other lady was at the counter. She not only tried to not give us a discount, but tried to charge us more than what our meal had originally cost. My wife, who is usually soft-spoken, angrily interjected, and asked "is that with the discount?" We had to basically talk her down to a reasonable price for waiting 2+ hours for our food that we were expecting to wait 40 minutes at most. If you are really craving some Chicago style pizza, then call three hours before hand and just pick it up and go home. We will not becoming here again. One star. read more

Pizza is pretty good, a little too oily. Do not recommend the barbecue wings, taste too much like ketchup. We also ordered lasagna lunch meal and it was good just once again it was oily. It breaks my heart to write this review. We've been enjoying this place since we moved to this neighborhood. And I was open to giving grace but the "manager" (later told his name was Jermaine) who came out to speak to me broke the straw for me. My partner ordered our pizza at around 6:50. I arrived at 7:00 knowing there would be a wait. But was told they just got it and would be about 25 minutes. Which was longer than I expected for what we ordered. I was annoyed but left to run errands. Came back at 7:30 and told it would be at least 5-6 minutes longer.... I told them that it was frustrating. He went to get Jermaine who came out and zero help. I pointed out another table was not there when I came in (I was a server so I'm observant) was literally eating the same pizza we ordered. He said he'd go check on it... about 5 minutes passed and I looked back and he was just working on other orders with zero intension of coming back out. And i did make it clear I was super annoyed at this point because it was clear they did not value us as a customer. No real apology. We live closer to little Caesar and have been coming here instead because it's local. We've recommended it to friends and even planned to maybe do our daughters birthday there. I got the pizza at 7:38. Even though my partner was notified 10 minutes prior it was ready. And they sent someone else out with it. Literally a 48 minute wait for a regular pizza, garlic bread, and cheese sticks which are now cold because they sat waiting for the pizza. We've waited in the past because we get it's local. 5 maybe 10 minutes (and have never had an issue with the timeliness of an online order). And they always showed grace because I think I interacted with the owners on those occasions. My partner ended up feeding our daughter a different dinner while I waited. My family and I were on the hunt for some good Chicago style pizza. We had the hot garlic bread and marinara sauce. The sauce was the best!! We also had a medium pizza with half pepperoni for my 3 grandchildren. They loved it. My wife and I had a large chicago with spinach and mushrooms!! My daughter and son-in-law had a large chicago meat lovers.. The food was well worth the money! We enjoyed all the food. Very delicious.. Not my first choice for pizza, but it is in a convenient location. My mom loves the deep dish pizza from here and asks us to pick one up about once every three months. It's been a reliable pizza restaurant that's been there for us for such a long time. The employees are very friendly and attentive, I think it's definitely worth a try. My friends and some family members speak highly of their experiences here, so I understand it's high reviews. However I personally never suggest this place as a go to and would give it a 3/5 but I think it deserves more because of how much other people enjoy it. read more

Chicago's Pizza is a must whenever we come to SA for our music teachers convention. The pizza is amazing, so thick, the meat is delicious and the crust is so buttery! Even though we stay downtown, we have no problem driving half an hour to get our fix. Terrible pizza and horrible customer service. I got the pizza in February 2024 the pizza was good then. So I called today June 16th and ordered the exact same deep dish with sausage pepperoni mushroom and tastes terrible , salty and the crust was not done. I put the pizza in the oven for ten minutes and then ate another slice I now have a headache because the pizza is so salty. The salt has gone through the pizza even worst once I put it in the oven to cook the crust. While the pizza was in the oven, I called the restaurant and I spoke with the weekend manager Sebastian. Sebastian offered me a ten percent credit on my next pizza that has to be used within ten days. I spend more than that on gasoline driving to get there. Once the headache become worst I called Sebastian again to tell him never mind I don't want the credit, and he never answered my two phone calls. That was terrible act of customer service and horrible pizza. I spent 38 dollars for terrible pizza that is going to the trash. read more

Don't call in an order here- I wanted to try this place out and went out on a whim. We called in an order at 7:45 pm on a Friday and were told 35 minutes for a large pizza and some wings. We arrived 40 minutes later, an older woman- possibly the owner told us it wasn't ready yet. We sat down and had a couple of beers, mind you- we only ordered the beers because it wasn't ready and to kill time. Another 20 minutes go by and we finish our beers, it still wasn't ready. We waited another 10 minutes, by this time we were just annoyed. An hour and 15 minutes go by all together and it's 9:10, we ask again- we were told we can get our beers free...really, I only ordered beers for them to pass the time, I wanted my entire order for free or a credit for the next time I possibly come. The lady would not budge. We get home, and the pizza is cold, the meat is not even cooked all the way through, it needed to be microwaved and probably needed another 15-20 minutes in the oven. The wings we ordered tasted like trash, the chicken lacked any sort of quality and tasted like the cheapest chicken wings you could ever purchase. For the amount we paid $40, I was highly disappointed and won't be back as there is 0 customer service or consideration for people's time. I was really hoping the pizza would make up for the lack of customer service...nope. I should have just ordered dominoes or gotten a $5 pizza from the store. I won't be back. read more

The pizza here is great. The sauce is outstanding. Awesome meal that brings everyone in my family smiles. That being said, the service is an abomination. Every time we order we have to add 10-15 minutes to the time stated. I doubt this has anything to do with being busy or not. This place is so unorganized, it's like it is being run by toddlers. In our last 4 visits they have screwed up one thing or another on our order. When you bring this to their attention, the entire kitchen staff starts fighting with each other about who's fault it is. Well, except the one time where the cashier acted like I was insane for wanting my entire order. Then it was my fault. The last incident was the killer. We ordered 2 large deep dish for Mother's Day dinner, ( yea, I know, but we are in the middle of a huge remodel and were exhausted, and dinner had to be eaten off of paper plates). Upon arrival, there was only one pizza. For the next 5 minutes the kitchen was arguing about who screwed up the order. The girl answering the phone said I had ordered 2 pizzas, and the slip showed that. More fighting, not "Hey, we messed up, how can we fix it?" I finally yelled out the question of what were they going to do to correct this. I got blank stares and was then asked "do you want another pizza?" So I was told it would be 35 minutes. I told them fine, but to deliver it to my house, 1.3 miles away, to make up for their mistake to which they told me that would cost extra. That was enough. And when you ask where's your food, they ignore you some more and don't tell you that your order was never entered. No response, no apologies. Once part of our food arrived, it was raw dough. Not edible. But it's very expensive for the quality of food. The lettuce was not washed and tasted strongly of fertilizer. One of the best deep dish pizzas I've ever had! While I'm usually partial to the NY style thinner crusts, on this particular day I was craving a gut bomb, and my god does this place deliver. We called in our order shortly after they opened on a Sunday (thanks to you yelpers who gave us that tip, because yes they do take a while to make) told them we'd be there in 20, got there about 30 minutes later and still waited an extra 10 minutes. That's not a complaint, just a forewarning, I would have waited hours for this pizza.. It was PERFECT. From the skimpy paper napkins to the tiny packets of butter. From the cheap plastic table cloths to the cheap plastic dishes. This is cafeteria style, so no service. The signage on the food items is almost non-existant so you have to get someone's attention and ask. If you want a coffee after dinner there is no service to bring it to you. The prices are average. About $15 each for our entrees. Salads, soup extra. Total was $46 for two adults. This place is fine if you have kids but definitely not for a date. This was also our last time.
