Apparently Chichos is a local pizza spot. I've been here time and time again for the cheap drinks and slices of pizza (Apparently thats what I crave when I'm wasted) The pizza isn't perfect but the flavor makes up for it! The servers are pretty attentive although our server forgot a few request such as ranch for the pizza, if you're not a fan, you need to be. But it looked like a crazy fest on the inside so I totally understood. This is a place to come to enjoy food after a night of drinking IMO. Or if you have a few friends who are in a band to come see. read more

This is one of my favorite places for pizza. The spicy sauce is delicious - you should definitely try it! The service isn't really good. You usually wait quite a while for someone to take you order but the pizza is worth the wait. read more

Not as good as it used to be. They allowed us to use our 10%off for yelp check I'm coupon. Staff was really nice but our delivery took an hour to get here, it wasn't extra cheese at all like I ordered, they forgot the plates we asked for, and the spicy sauce we love was barely on it so it was pretty dry. When a room full of starving drunk nyers are like "meh this pizza isn't very good at all" you know you have a problem. What happened ? :( read more

Went to get a pizza here asked for a pepperoni slice $3.75 i paid it dropped a dollar tip. Waited for the pizza, i looked up to look at the menu one pepperoni slice $2.75. Come on dude who was Eric? Man i was going to tip you you didnt have to over charge me man. Petty thief. Pizza was good though. Whatever. Chichos lost a customer for 2 bucks. read more

Please let me start this review on a note of "there are no seats available" Then it reeks so bad of smoke I might as well have smoke in my lungs and I'm inside the establishment. Third the very sweet server asked if I would mind moving to a high top because he band is coming and 20 mins prior she put me in that seat. Uggghhh now I am waiting at the high top with someone's half drank Corona waiting for the table to be cleaned. This 5ft3 girl DOES MIND SITTING AT THE HIGH TOP because I had to jump to get up on the chairs BUT the groupon says DINE IN ONLY.....SERIOUSLY!!!?!?!?! This isn't seeming worth it at this point!! read more

Not great, not terrible. Pizza had very thick crust that made it too bready and too much sauce. Wings were ok, but nothing special. Cheese bread was the saving grace of the whole meal. Good cheese to bread ratio and it was actually thinner than the pizza so it was crisp and everyone enjoyed it. Advice: Toning down the crust on the pies would go a long way. read more

Great little gem. Got there by chance on a Saturday night 1/15. Was on a road trip with my 23 daughter. I'm 53. Was in the mood to set loose a little after going to the popular Mexican place a block or two south and then Murphys for dinner. Murphys was great, but that's a different review. Got here after midnight. This little place is great. Seemed like locals, friendly people getting a little buzzed like me. The DJ was amazing. I'll be researching who he was for sure. Just great tunes at a great volume for a this 53 year rockstar ;-) The pizza was excellent too. Some pulled pork coleslaw combo. Waitress was attentive and made us feel at home. Wish it was local for me. Definitely got a little crazy come 1:30am or so but hey, those are good signs. Left around 1:30 and the place was still rocken. Go! Once again, DJ was great. This was the worst experience we have ever had!! Order few pizzas which took 2 hours to get. Never got our order of fries and popcorn chicken. Service acted like they were busy but the place was over half empty. Seemed like the only people who was getting service was the locals/friends!! Will never come back and if your looking for a place to eat GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! read more

This review is 100% based on their take out food and it's based on ordering for them a 2nd time within 2 years because the 1st time was very bad as well. Once again, my salad was missing yet clearly ordered and on the order conformation, same thing happened to me 2 years ago. Now, the most disappointing aspect was the pizza. The bottom was a soggy mush mess ( the whole bottom, in fact I've never seen a pizza like this before) and oldly enough, there was an egg yolk in the cheese topping on one slices. I couldn't eat it. As for the salad, the driver did go back and grab it. I really wanted this time around to be fantastic. Never again. Don't order takeout them. read more

Restaurant is attached to the Hampton Inn. Food and drinks were okay. We had old bay and garlic wings, a chicken sandwich called "The Jetty" and chili dip. Forgot the name of our drinks but they were on the crush menu and pretty good. Decent spot with good service. Worth a try. read more

went out with a group of 5 and had a waitress and a trainee who were super nice. however, they forgot one of our pizzas and 10 wings. we were there three hours before we finally received our food. then we got the check (all on one) and there was no compensation at all. I am a bartender so I know how it is, but after waiting three hours I personally would've given a 10% or something. they also added gratuity which again, fine. however the menu says parties or 6 or more. we only had 5. never again read more

We had different pizzas delivered from Chicho's. The garlic cheese pizza bread is delicious - try the spicy marinara. It is really good. As we only had delivery I cannot say anything about the service. Sehr gute Pizzen. Das Knoblauch-Käse Pizzabrot ist sehr lecker. Auch die scharfe marinara sauce ist sehr lecker. Zum Service kann ich nichts sagen, da wir die Pizzen geliefert bekommen haben. read more

I know that with NASSC the restaurants are flooded with people. But that is no excuse for what has amounted to my worse experience in dining. It is during events that restaurants need to shine. The music was so loud we could not have a conversation without yelling. We asked 4 times for the music to be lowered. When I asked our waitress she said "I'm sorry, what did you say?" My response, "EXACTLY!! ". The meals can out in stages over a 15 minute period. Another failure. We had to ask for flatware. That took another 5. I will never go back. You had the opportunity to shine. Instead, service was atrocious. read more

Expected average pizza by the beach, but it was very good! Took about 20-25 minutes. Pizza had good amount of cheese and good quality sausage and pepperoni. Thought the price was fair. Fries were also battered and crispy. Took to-go to the beach and family really enjoyed it. Inside is kind of divey bar scene (but not dirty). Staff is very casual. read more

Don't come here if you plan on having more then 4ppl in your party. We came in with a group of 12 and they refused to put tables together so we can actually eat TOGETHER. Sad part is that for the last 3 days I've been telling everyone how delish their food was and sent other vacationers here. Will never be back after this shit experience. Amazing how there's a WHOLE open patio with 9 open tables that could be pushed together. Completely unacceptable. read more

They recently changed the dough!! Last 2 pizza's dough was chemical flavored. When I reheated it the crust stayed soft no matter how long I cooked it. Guess they switched to that shower shoe dough subway was using, been going there for over two decades. Not anymore. Do not recommend this place or any other Chichos establishment. Still can't get that sulfur taste out of my mouth. Too bad that crust was the trademark for Chichos. read more

This place is "the best" Our server at the bar Shawna was awesome!!! My husband and I sat at the bar and had 3 beers/3 drinks, she made my drinks perfect The price for the drinks was very cheap! We sat at the bar and order pizzas and nachos to bring back to the hotel for the kids. They said it was the best pizza, my 11 year old loved the nachos, the put everything for the nachos on the side so they would not get soggy.. the chili, cheese, salsa, sour cream. We traveled from MA all the way here to Virginia beach, and I'am glad we chose the place for Pizza. read more

Our food was cold when it should have been hot. The nachos w/cheese was cold, and the French fries spicy was cold. It took over 45 minutes for our meals to come. 4 kids and 2 adults. read more

The vibe is good. The DJ played a mix of different music and that was enjoyable. The waitress was very attentive. She kept coming to check in with no food. We were seated quickly.My issues are we were not told in the beginning that the kitchen was on a two hour wait but not for us. The waitress said they have stopped letting people in because of the wait for the kitchen staff. We got the wings first and waited another 30+ minutes for the pizza. Of course by the time the pizza came the wings were ice cold. My husband was fuming. This was not a good experience for us. On vacation and probably won't visit this establishment again and would not recommend it. Couldn't give 1/2 or zero stars. One other thing. I don't mind tipping and I tip good but this place. No tip, I didn't want to pay the ticket. I did anyway. Make your own decision about coming to this place to spend your money. Just sharing about our experience. The pizza is excellent and there is usually live music playing . Sometimes the pizza is not as good,depending on who is in The kitchen . I love the spicy sauce as well as the price of pizza...you can get it by the slice too . Now that I am writing this I think it's time to head there haha. This place used to be a little run down , but they have fixed it up and added a patio outside . If you like corn hole they have boards . Pbr is usually $2. read more

We grabbed a few slices before walking to the beach. I recommend this pizza to anyone wanting to have a nice slice. The wait wasn't too long. Fresh baked. Very friendly staff. Eating pizza with your butt in the sand - 10/10 Goldblumes. Would definitely eat here again! read more

I do not normally post reviews and prefer to speak directly with management to rectify a situatio. That being said, our experience at Chichos this weekend was terrible and we have been unable to reach management after 2 phone calls. In the past we have enjoyed Chichis for last night snacks but do admit in the past couple of years it's really gone downhill- after a day of activities our daughter was hungry and we decided to order Chichos 29th street as it was so late ( she likes their nachos). we ordered her a half order of nachos - that and with delivery this was not cheap ( about 20) . Finally at 10 PM her nachos arrived and the toppings were the grossest looking watered soup I have ever seen. To be clear, we have ordered these many times before and we're utterly shocked. We did leave our information twice over the phone for management ; additionally we expressed that we would like to share a picture of this $20 meal but have not heard back. read more

Horrible service & drinks, wish i could give this place zero stars..uggghhhhh Very unfriendly, unprofessional here. I've been treated better at McDonalds. They just don't care about their customers, Very Rude. Expect to wait ages for your food & if going with other people, you will all receive your food at different times..watching each other eat/eating alone. Chicho's Pizza started out as a small idea by two former Virginia Beach lifeguards who aspired to make great pizza made of nothing but the freshest ingredients! The first location on the corner of 21st Street and Atlantic Avenue, built in 1968, was an instant success! Patrons saw their orders being baked right in front of their eyes and passersby caught the tantalizing scent of pizza that wafted through the storefront window. It didn't take long before the Chicho's pizza + beer combo made the location infamous as 'The Locals' Favorite. Its popularity heightened even more when renowned bands would stop by for a slice or two after concerts! Outside of that, the staff were very nice and the food was decent. With it being football Sunday, folks were rowdy and enjoying the game which was fun but I'm not sure if I'd return.

If you're in Virginia Beach and find yourself up late, Chico's is a solid go-to for a Togo late-night bite. I swung by around 12:30 AM for takeout, perfect for a no-fuss food run. The pizza, while reheated (as expected at that hour), was still hot and decent enough for a 2 AM craving. However, I was a bit disappointed with the butterflied shrimp. Just didn't pair well Finally the pizza itself - I know some of you are gonna say it's because I ordered pineapple on my pizza but the online menu said "best seller" so I tried it. The sauce is extremely bland & just had no taste or flavor. There are corp pizza places with better tasting sauce. On top of all this, the cost was $36 for one 16" pizza, cheese bread & a can drink - well over priced for the value of food I always like to give 2nd chances so I may try them again if I'm in the area but I'm also sure there's other local spots that might have better consistent good food for the price.

They have great new beers and really really good fried pickles. The service today was by far the best service I have ever received. I ordered a Tuna burger, something I literally never order as I am very picky with fish but wanted to try something new (I am very big on texture and I frequently can't eat it not due to taste but texture) I didn't quite enjoy it for said texture (taste was great again tuna is just not my thing I think) they realized this, took it off my bill entirely and I believe it was the owner or chef came up and asked if I would like something complementary instead. They even wrote me an apology note (again NOT their fault at all it was delicious). I have been there twice this week and both times the food tasted fresh and amazing and it was genuinely the sweetest nicest interaction I have had to date at a restaurant ever and I'll absolutely be coming back.
