Need a break after your 90 minute wait before/after dim sum at Seafood Cove II (upstairs)? Ready for drinks after shopping at Asian Garden Mall (across the street)? Use a boost after A Dong supermarket shopping (a few doors down)? Head straight to Chill! Absolutely the best Einspanner Matcha in town. The sweet cream on top is so good, you will not want to mix it (so you get a taste with every sip). I was lucky to catch the owner/matcha expert Trang in the shop on my visit this weekend; she's amazing! Teeny shop with some comfy sofa seating if you can grab it. Parking in this plaza is a challenge, but don't give up. It's so big, and so much is going on, there are as many people leaving as coming. Don't sleep on this place -- absolutely the friendliest and tastiest boba shop in the OC.

Was in the area pretty late on a Friday night and wanted a matcha but everywhere else was basically closed except for this spot. Parking wasn't bad and I was quite literally the only person in the place haha. But the guy who took my order was super chill and efficient and I was in and out of there in maybe 3 minutes. The menu looked super good but I was basic and got a double matcha. All drinks are made with oat milk (for my fellow lactose intolerant peeps). The drinks are a great size for the price imo and it was high quality and very tasty. I'm super impressed!!!

Vibes were positive but the drink itself was way too sweet. I asked for less sweet but it was still really sweet. The matcha itself lacked depth but that might be cause it was overpowered by the sugar. In my opinion, this place is more vibes than quality. Having said that, I'd still be down to try again...it's an okay spot to chill at.

Chill Coffee is such a welcome addition to the area, especially because it's one of the few boba spots open early. Sometimes you want something other than coffee in the morning, and this place absolutely delivers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with comfortable seating, great music, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Everything feels thoughtfully curated without being overdone. I ordered the Lychee Oolong Tea, and it was incredibly refreshing. The tea flavor came through beautifully, and it wasn't overloaded with sweetness like so many other boba drinks. I also tried the Pandan Matcha, which was perfectly balanced. The earthy matcha and subtle pandan complemented each other so well, and again, it wasn't overly sweet. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back and am so happy to have an early-opening boba spot in the neighborhood.

Happened to talk by and saw that they had one of my favorite flavored coffee: pandan coffee. And it meant my expectation, creamy, rich, and strong with the delicious pandan taste.

Located across from the Asian Garden Mall, with tons of coffee and tea shops in every corner, chill coffee stood out to me since they have a variety of matcha and coffee. To my surprise, coffee was strong, smooth, and rich. Matcha was perfectly balanced with milk and matcha ratio. I also loved that it came in a 24 oz cup for about $7. They also have a an option to add as much espresso free of charge. I love strong coffee, so I don't know about adding an additional shot. Probably if anyone wants to stay awake all day and night. The staff that took my order is very friendly and helpful. He knows the menu very well, and can adjust to your preferences.

Service was very attentive and friendly. Boba tasted like mochi balls. Got three drinks and sweetness level is pretty good. I got half sweet so drinks were not sweet at all. Milk tea is good. Not too much milk and not ok much tea. Lychee green tea is average. Not premium but decent snd refreshing.

Tried the kumquat honey lemon tea from Chill Coffee and it was actually really refreshing. Got it less sweet, which was definitely the move -- still has a nice natural sweetness from the honey without being overpowering. Flavor-wise, it's bright and citrusy with a slight bitterness from the kumquat, balanced out well by the honey. Doesn't taste artificial or syrupy like some places. The passion fruit puree with seeds at the bottom adds a tangy punch and a little crunch, which makes the drink more interesting texture-wise. Portion size is solid and feels worth it for the price. Overall a good option if you want something light and refreshing instead of a heavy milk tea. Drink came fast, friendly staff. I'd get it again, especially on a hot day.

I got the lychee green iced tea and it was overly filled with ice and overall just not that good. If you hate AI hate just as much as I do, this place is a turn off and disgrace to all real artists. They had a generated AI poster on their wall with a labubu holding a matcha drink, and smacked their logo sticker on. If a business is willing to cut corners in their appearance, what other corners are they cutting that we can't see? Perhaps the ingredients, which would explain the low quality flavor of my drink and that of my friend's strawberry matcha who told me the strawberry syrup was sour. The bells and whistles matter just as much as the machine itself. Will not be returning. read more

I'm so glad I found this place!! It's officially my new regular shop. The matcha here is deep and rich of flavor, and the coffee tastes like a carefully curated blend rather than something mass-produced. Both are bold, intentional, and balanced. I also appreciated how customizable the drinks are without losing their quality. The owners put so much care into their craft, and you can genuinely tell they want every customer to enjoy their drink. This is NOT one of those quick grab-and-go shops that drown everything in oat milk and syrups. Their menu has variety, but the focus is clearly on high-quality, matcha-forward and coffee-forward drinks. And if you want it sweeter or milkier, they'll adjust it to your preference. The shop itself is super cute too. Cozy couches right as you walk in. Perfect for hanging out or getting a quick photo. Right now this spot feels a little lowkey, but I can already see the momentum building. With quality and consistency like this, it's just a matter of time before it blows up. If you're looking for a place that takes matcha and coffee seriously, without all the unnecessary fluff, this is the spot. So happy to finally have a go-to for my caffeine fix! read more

Came here on a Wednesday morning right at 0900 when they were supposed to be open. They were still not open, waited about 5 ish more min incase. Still nothing. Even if they were open by 0910 and we were still there, how long would it take for my coffee to be ready since not even a light was turned on? ‍My husband and I were excited to try a new coffee place but I guess not today. My friend and I were upstairs dining at Seafood Cove, and saw this spot as we were leaving. It said that they were in their grand opening, so we figured why not give them a try. They had some coffee drinks that I wasn't too familiar with, like the bac xiu coffee. We ended up getting a Viet Iced Coffee, Egg Creme Brulee Coffee, and two of the Bac Xiu coffees. The lady working was super nice and funny, and gives off auntie vibes. She also explained to us that they offer unlimited additional espresso shots at no extra cost. The coffees were also really rich and creamy, and has the Viet coffee taste to it, which I haven't had in a while. It was definitely super strong though, so I can't imagine what it would be like if there were more shots! The interior is also well designed, and has a few seating options. It's definitely more of a grab and go spot in a busy plaza with limited parking. read more

Both the banana latte and pandan matcha were good - the matcha felt kinda grainy/powdery though. The person who took my order warned me that the pandan was pretty sweet, so I adjusted the sweetness level - even with 70% sweetness though, I felt like the drink was still really sweet! I didn't really mind though, because I just let the ice dilute it a bit. Speaking of ice, I appreciate how they didn't add too much of it to the drinks. The cups are a decent size too. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Tracy N.

Tracy’s journey began in Saigon, Vietnam, where she grew up with a love for crafting drinks for friends and family. From soda pops and lemonades to coffee and tea, her passion for beverages was evident from a young age. After moving to the United States, Tracy spent most of her life in the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon. In 2019, she opened her first boba shop—and within just a few years, launched a second location, building a loyal following and gaining over five years of hands-on experience in creating delicious boba tea drinks. In 2025, Tracy made the move to sunny California, inspired to bring her beverage-making talents to Orange County. Very cute coffee shop in the heart of Little Saigon Bolsa. They are located right underneath Seafood Cove, across the street from Asian Garden Mall. I've tried many of their coffee drinks and matcha series. My favorite are the egg cream brûlée coffee (less sweet) and matcha with vanilla cold foam (less sweet). Their coffee latte is super good and on par some of the best coffee shops in the area. You can pick Vietnamese coffee or American latte for the coffee base. You can ask them for extra coffee shots with no additional charge! Their matcha drinks are amazingly good. I drank 4 cups in the last 7 days. Was eating at a place next door and found this out of the blue, it was a very good decision. Good options, but not crazy overwhelming. Staff was amazing and helpful. I've came here multiple times and the matcha here always hits! My go to is the salty cream matcha (very airy and that hint of saltiness really brings the matcha together ) The service is always really quick like 5 mins max! Defientely reccommend coming here for some good authentic ceriominal matcha. read more

The Salty Cheese Boba is really good. The sweetness and the saltyness does not clash at all. Served the food really fast even though there was only one person that's working. The ambiance of the place is really nice. The combination of green and gold is pretty and the music's really nice too! read more

My family finished dim sum and was craving boba. We stopped by here and the menu looks so good. My kids are picky and they love the tiger milk tea and anything pandan! The place is clean, the staff is so nice. Definitely adding this to my go-to boba after a dim sum trip. read more

Coffee has a nice bitter taste that a lot of other places fail to do. Service was on point and the owner was very nice and offered a free shot of espresso if I wanted, which I took. Combined with good coffee and service the place has a nice chill vibe that's welcoming. read more

They have so many coffee and matcha options. We tried the blueberry matcha, banana matcha and the pandan matcha and all were super good and tasted like ceremonial grade. There are lots of place to sit even with the small area provided and the employees were nice. read more

We ordered fresh avocado and kumquat honey both less sweet. The avocado was very thick and creamy with just enough sweetness. The kumquat honey was very refreshing with a good balance of sweet and citrus tangy taste. Service was also super fast! Would recommend! read more
