Haven't been back here for a long time. Since in the neighborhood, stopped by and grab some caffeine to go. The place is still nice, big, spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating nice and neat. Staff is alway nice & friendly. They got baked goods and others. Coffee is great and we'll make to my liking. So glad I stopped by.

Parking is easy for this place, it's located right next to the parking structure and you get a 1-hour grace period for FREE. Matcha here is perfect! They also bake all of their pastries in-house. The staff is super friendly and this location shares the space with a cute boutique shop so you can browse while you wait. This is my go-to spot for a quick pick me up matcha or coffee at work.

Coffee Muse is a solid spot located on the corner of 4th Street Market. Parking is available through meters or the structure nearby. The meters are free from 6am to 8am and the parking garage offers one free hour which makes it easy to stop by in the morning. My favorite drinks here are the Honey Nut Cheerios latte which comes with oat milk by default and the Mexican mocha latte. The espresso quality is pretty standard but the drinks themselves are enjoyable and well balanced. The pastries are quite good. I really like their muffins and croissants which are warm and flaky. Their breakfast burrito is also pretty solid, though it is sourced and warmed in the oven. The staff are always friendly and quick. The interior is pretty minimal, only two small tables and a few chairs with outside patio seating. Overall, Coffee Muse is a reliable spot for a quick drink or bite and worth visiting if you are in the area.

Such a fun mix of coffee and art. Coffee Muse is located in DTSA and is serving up all your favorite caffeinated beverages. This cafe also offers a space for artists and creators to sell their locally made goods. There's 12+ vendor booths scattered throughout the cafe. Browse items from clothing, to speciality snacks and food, and candles. Shopping is my favorite form of entertainment. I ordered an iced matcha latte with strawberry, which is quite possibly the perfect summer drink. Highly recommend checking this spot out and supporting local creators!

A small coffee shop next to 4th street market. There is paid street parking as well as paid structure parking available nearby. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. When we were there, the AC was blowing so strongly that the amount of air blowing made it hard to keep my eyes open and it was fairly cold. The coffee is decent and the staff are very friendly. We went at a time that wasn't too crowded so our drinks were ready very quickly. The drinks tasted good, but I think they may have put regular milk/dairy instead of the drinks instead of oat milk based on how my body reacted to it. It was not the greatest experience for a lactose intolerant person, but I would still go back again and to try something without milk.

Here's the pro tip, sign up for their rewards program. I did and they sent me a reward for a free cookie. I've been dreaming about said cookie for a week now and came this morning to redeem it. Such a tough choice as all look great but I went with the pecan chocolate chip. Apparently today is National Run Day and the local run club stopped here for their usual beverage. I chatted with them and they bought me an Americano to go with my cookie! I told them I don't run, but they offered all the same. What a kind act. The coffee went so well with the cookie and my love for Coffee Muse is just growing. I'm going to come back and try the other cookies and drinks soon. Please come and create your own adventure.

Wowow the dirty vanilla chai = perfect pick me up after walkin' around and shoppin' around DTSA. One unique part about this shop is that it's connected to other vendors that sell homemade merch and crafts or clothes. If you wanna support local, stop by here and browse through the various vendors. I also appreciated the helpful baristas! They did not make me feel like I was a bother when I asked for 1 espresso shot instead of the usual 2.

First time stopping into Coffee Muse in Downtown Santa Ana, and I really enjoyed it! The menu is small but easy to choose from, which I appreciate. I ordered the avocado toast and the Honey Nut Cheerios latte. The sourdough was fresh and tasty--though honestly a bigger slice than I expected. The avocado portion was generous and exactly what I'd hope for with a $10 avocado toast. Nicely seasoned and beautifully presented. The latte didn't quite give me the Honey Nut Cheerio flavor I was expecting, but it was still really smooth and delicious overall. The espresso here is buttery and well-pulled. The café is on the smaller side, but outdoor seating would be perfect on a nice day. Staff was absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. My friends and I came in around 10am on a Friday, and it wasn't too busy, which was a plus. The only small downsides: my coffee took a bit longer than I expected, considering the shop wasn't very full, and I noticed their website doesn't list a menu, which would be super helpful. More seating would also be great since it's such a cozy space. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the vibe, the friendly service, and the quality of the coffee.

My sister and I visited this morning for the first time ever. We arrived about 25 mins after they opened, and the two girls working today, October 30th, were SO SWEET! I wish I had asked for their names, but please make sure they know that they made mine and my sister's day with their warm welcomes and beautiful energies the second we walked in! 4th street in Santa is already vibe, coffee muse fits in perfectly. Went in real quick enjoyed our dirty chai, matcha and their delicious chocolate chip cookie that didn't last 2 seconds. Great spot inside with tables and chairs. The staff are also a vibe as they enjoy themselves in the back kitchen but so still be aware of their customers, you can tell they have regulars on how they greet each guest. Such a great spot definitely our go to.

I absolutely love this coffee shop in downtown Santa Ana. The employees behind the counter are always welcoming and the space is always bright and cheery. They have alternative for pay milks but the only downside is no sugar free options for anything. Plus side, they're toasts are super hearty and healthy and amazing. Delicious! Stopped in during lunch for a mid day pickup and I'm so glad - I got the Honey Nut Cheerios latte which comes with oat milk and it was absolute perfection. I'm not usually a huge fan of oat milk but this latte is perfectly balanced - not too sweet with a mellow nutty flavor coming from the oat milk and the espresso they use is very smooth. I wish I could express how good this coffee is. Cute cafe!! We stopped in by chance waiting for the drag brunch that was going on nearby and thank goodness we did! It was perfect for the coffee fix we were looking for. It's small and no indoor seating just yet but they have a little patio set up with a tent to enjoy your coffee and pastry. On a hotter day I would imagine that tent would come very much in handy! We sat just outside. I got the Mexican mocha and a blueberry macadamia nut cookie that was soooo good I forgot to snap a picture The white Mexican mocha was amazing! A little on the sweet side but that's how I perder it. The staff was very friendly and despite them being busy our drinks were out in a timely manner and made to perfection. My sister tried the Honey Nut Cheerios coffee they had and I recommended it! It's a bit on the strong side so it's not for the casual coffee drinker and it definitely tastes like cereal milk! read more

The two express based drinks we ordered were good but the coffee flavor wasn't strong or bold; thus the four stars. The Honey Nut Cheerios latte was a winner. The service was great. We would like to visit on a weekend evening. It seems like the vibes would be good. Especially on Friday nights during open mic hours from 7-9 pm. read more

Cute, hipster coffee shop located in Downtown Santa Ana. We tried their Mexican mocha and honey nut cheerios, and both were delicious! I personally enjoyed the Mexican mocha more-- it had hints of spices that brought out a more unique and complex taste. The honey nut cheerios reminded me of a chai latte but with added cinnamon and honey. Both drinks came with milk alternatives and a good amount of caffeine. I would definitely stop by this coffee shop again! read more

My favorite coffee shop ever. I seriously tell myself I'm gonna try more places but when I do, I regret it and keep coming back to Muse. I've been coming here for a few years and it never disappoints. Love the berry toast and cookies, always delicious. I even make my own copy cat version of the toast at home. First time trying this place since we were in the area. I ordered the iced lavender latte with oatmilk and it's delicious! The lavender flavor is subtle and doesn't mask the coffee taste & it isn't a sweet coffee so I liked that. We also got an iced vanilla latte and it was good as well. No doubt about it, the coffee & baked goods are delicious. The service is outstanding and location is always clean. However, waiting 10-15 minutes for a black coffee is outrageous. I get it, each cup is a labor of love made fresh for each order, but there has to be a move efficient way of getting me out the door with my black coffee. Cute family run coffee shop. The staff is SUPER friendly and the drinks are delicious. There is ample room to spread out. It's been a very long while since my last review. But you know, life goes on and the yelp reviews keep on going. Anyways, let's talk about Coffee Muse. We were recommended here by a coworker of ours for their cold brew. When we got inside, it was pretty small but the wall art really caught me by surprise (see my photo). Their menu is pretty small for now since they just opened, but I'm sure that'll change with time. The staff was really friendly and was very knowledgeable on their coffee. So we ordered a cold brew, pour over and an eclair. I really enjoyed the cold brew. Super smooth and not too acidic for me. And their drip coffee is really good. Overall, i highly recommend you come here and try this place out. read more

Tried this place out since my friend won't stop talking about their Iced Caramel Latte with Oat Milk. Alas, we came and I got that to do some work with my laptop. The drink I got is good. I can definitely taste the caramel-like flavor (not too sweet though, I am used to stronger espresso after taste). The oat milk does add some unique flavor to it so I will recommend using that rather than regular milk! The owners are also down to earth. They take care of their customers. They bring the drinks to your table and even offered us pastries/water is wanted) Ambience is nice, good amount tables/chairs and decent noise level to do productive work. Parking may be hard given its in downtown (and you have to pay the meters) but other than that it is worth to try their coffee. read more

It pains me to leave this review because this used to be my favorite coffee spot but idk what happened. I ordered a Mexican mocha (lightly sweetened) and got to work and my coffee was sooooo sweet. I called and they said they would remake my coffee for me. I went back to get my remade coffee and it tastes like pure milk. And is still very sweet. Y'all gotta retrain the new baristas cause ratio's are off and it shows in the picture. No caffeine for me today. read more

Really loved the coffee and the service is awesome. The Iced Honey Nut Cheerios coffee was fantastic! Just a note (not Coffee Muses fault), if you're coming here, try and go relatively early. Downtown Santa Ana becomes a zoo and there's a ton of construction so trying to get out of there was really confusing and messy. read more

OMG. So we found this coffee shop in our adventure to try new locally owned coffee. SUCH AN AMAZING PLACE! They have cute tables, with loteria cards on them! AND an amazing Chai Dirty Latte with Oat Milk. So good. Customer service is AWESOME. Shoutout to the barista for being so sweet and giving us a nice in-house treat after my hubby and I stayed for a hours today. He had one of their teas and it was so delicious! You can tell they carefully brew and create your drinks with lots of love. It's also nice and cool in here! Fast WiFi. Lots of sitting place. A lot of coffee shops we go to are so hot, and have slow WiFi. Not this place :) Will def come back! Just FYI: you have to pay for parking outside. It's $1.50/hour. Maybe there's free parking somewhere. DEF RECOMMEND! read more

This place is the best place to get a cup of coffee. The coffee is fresh pour over. The coffee beans is roasted fresh in the shop. The pastries are also made fresh so much to choose from. Coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie go great together. Hot or ice coffee can't go wrong read more

Great place to come in and study! They have free wifi, on busy days parking will be really hard to find, it's downtown SA so there is also a lot of construction going on, had to take a long detour to get here but it was worth! I got the lavender latte & can agree it still stands the most popular!! Would come again read more

Located in a quaint area great for sitting and people watching, this coffee shop offers some of the best chocolate chip cookies I've tasted! (And I am always on the look out for the best!) The chocolate chip cookies have pecans and the taste and texture is perfect! My husband had a hot latte with oak milk while I enjoyed my iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. The service was friendly and helpful, hopefully they'll have inside seating soon cuz it's cute inside too! read more

Stumbled upon this new coffee spot and we were immediately greeted by the owner. Coffee is made way different (with more attention and love) than Starbucks. Well, actually it's a special technique that they do, but I can't remember what he called it. I'll post the video. He actually gets his coffee from Ethiopia, Mexico, and Honduras. The fiance got a Pour Over, Mexico coffee. He REALLY loved it. He said it's way better than Starbucks, and he's a Starbucks addict. I didn't see Hot Chocolate on the menu, but he was kind enough to make it for me. Its was delicious. The tables have loteria game! And many other games to play!!!! Very cool spot, delicious coffee, games to play, and sometimes they even have dj's playing. Definitely recommend! read more

First time here, and I'm honestly in love with the vibe! The coffee is also out of this world! Marilyn served my boyfriend and I our pastries, and Austin made us our coffee. They were both super sweet and friendly, and Marilyn even told us if we didn't see something on the menu, they would try their best to accommodate!! I thought my iced white mocha would be a little sweeter than it was, but that's probably because I'm used to Starbucks and how they oversweeten EVERYTHING. They serve you REAL coffee here. Best coffee shop I've been too in a long time. Coffee is smooth not bitter. I've had the caramel latte, vanilla latte and matcha. All of them taste amazing. Just opened a week ago across from The Frida. Nice spot, super friendly staff, free WiFi. Got the mocha which was sweet. Curious about their different roasts. Has a brewery feel. Kind of hoping for a coffee brew flight now. There's seating in back perfect for studying. I'd like more seating up front e.g. counter seating to people watch and add bar stools to the bar. We are a community of doers. We are comprised of artists, scientists, students, teachers, and people who just love coffee. We start by roasting your coffee in small batches to give you the personalized details you deserve and follow it up by preparing your pour over by hand. In addition, we brew loose leaf tea to tried and tested specifications for optimum flavor. We don't do this to be different. We don't do this because there is romance in doing it. We do it because the end result is unparalleled to your average cup. It is crafted from the ground up and tailored to you. We choose this path because you deserve to uncover the unique taste in each coffee bean. From the sweet, dark cherry notes in Chiapas, Mexico to the delicate, floral notes of Kenya, each bean has traveled thousands of miles and miles to reach us. Meet the Business Owner: Ricky M.

Studied film at CSULB and always had a curiosity towards creativity. This curiosity lead towards the exploration of the vast world of coffee. He was fascinated by how little he knew, and how each variable could affect the outcome. Coffee wasn't just coffee, it's an art, it's science,its combining the right amount of each to get the perfect marriage.

Customer service is where I believe businesses either shine or fall flat, and it's often what determines whether I'll return. I ordered the Lox Bagel along with a lavender oat milk matcha. I asked if I could add a single shot of espresso, but Elizabeth explained they pull two shots at a time. I laughed and told her, "I don't want you to dump it," so I happily took the double shot. She also let me know the bagel would likely take 20-25 minutes because only two employees were working. I appreciated her honesty and told her to take her time. Instead, my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Lox Bagel came on an everything bagel which was my choice, smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. They serve it whole, allowing you to slice it yourself. The bagel had the perfect toasted crunch, while the combination of creamy cream cheese, fresh vegetables, salty capers, and rich salmon created a bite that was balanced and incredibly satisfying. The dirty lavender matcha paired beautifully with it. As more customers continued to pour in, I couldn't help but watch how the staff handled the growing crowd. People patiently waited in line, squeezed into available seats, grabbed drinks to go, and somehow everything continued flowing smoothly. Even with only two employees working, the service never lost its warmth. Enchanted Coffee captivated me with more than its coffee. It was the hospitality, the honesty, and the overall experience that won me over. Needless to say, they've earned themselves a new weekly customer. These are sold 4 to a package and and are like the yummiest croissant you've ever tasted. I was sitting waiting for my order to be completed when the owner cam out with a bit of one on a fork. I was hooked. They're already baked, but the instructions are to put them in an air fryer (we used a small convection toaster oven) for 2-4 minutes at 350. I also like them split and toasted. They're fantastic! You'll want to put The Sandwich Society on your restaurant list! (And you'll want Salt Bread in your pantry too!).

In contrast, the bulgogi sandwich was very wet and the bread felt more like a sponge at the end of my meal. The flavors were great but the sandwich itself was messy to eat. The service is great and they even gave us a cookie for each sandwich for free! It's a great place for a casual lunch. I'd definitely come back to try the other sandwiches.

After leaving Fourth Street Market in Santa Ana, I noticed a new coffeehouse across the street. Coffee Muse has been open less than 2 months and it first appeared top be just another trendy little "mom-and-pop" coffeehouse that seem to be all over Orange County these days. It's a clean little place with lots of light, wood flooring & tables and "coffeehouse" alternative music playing...sound familiar? What made the difference for me was the barista, Sara, She was friendly and quite knowledgeable about her beans! Customer service from the guy that took our order was good, informative and carries good knowledge in the drinks on their menu, the drinks were flavor-able, on the sweeter part, didn't get a energy boost even with the two shots of espresso. Came here the other day for a drink with my wife. I wasn't sure what to expect and I also wasn't sure what to get, so my wife ordered a latte and it took them quite a while to get the order out even though there wasn't a line. There has to be a food borne illness here, either their coffee beans or the milk, something because my friends and I all ordered coffee from here and had the worst stomach pain after drinking our coffee from here. I would suggest to not buy coffee from here, they need to be audited. read more
