Reservation for four, with only one vegan - 5/5 from everyone. Wowwww, this was delicious! Hard to fathom it was vegan - the best pizza I ever had and everything was to die for! We had the calamari appetizer, truffle mushroom pizza, hot honey pizza, fig salad, tiramisu and hazelnut covered dessert. Everything was sooooo freaking delicious the calamari tastes like real calamari but just better. Same consistency and chewiness. Perfection. Divided crowd on whether the truffle pizza or hot honey pizza was better. Salad was great too. Hazelnut dessert was out of this world! I love tiramisu and it was good too. Did not disappoint!

Cute and trendy ambiance with some of the best vegan items on the market! Service was attentive and friendly. I was full off the whipped ricotta toast, house salad, and calamari, and couldn't bring myself to order more items!

We had our order delivered and honestly regret that decision. I would have enjoyed this dinner more if we ate it at the restaurant. It was delicious don't get me wrong, but everything was just cold when we got it. Totally our fault. Not the restaurant's! I hope next time we are here in NYC, we will be able to go sit down and eat! The limencello cake was absolutely divine! Ricotta ravioli had a decadent filling and rich sauce.

    GLUTEN-FREE Wild Mushroom Truffle Pizza

Oh my gosh. I've been vegan for six years and the wild truffle mushroom pizza on gluten-free crust was genuinely the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The gluten free crust is soooooo good it's so thick which differs from typical gluten-free crusts that are very thin, so I was really excited about that. I literally can't talk enough about this pizza. So good. Some of the best plant-based cheese I've ever had. I also got the vodka pasta with gluten free pasta and it was okay. I won't be getting it again. Was kind of boring. But the pizza made up for everything.

It seems to be happening, so would probably do with a reservation, particularly on fridays or the weekend when I went. It was cool to have a full vegan Italian restaurant, but on the menu keep the names as the same dishes you would find otherwise. Like caviar, but it's not really caviar, get it. Overall, I wasn't that impressed with the food, as it tasted kind of bland, not much for portion size (which I get for this kind of restaurant), but then I would've wanted better flavors. I think each of the items fell short, even the ones others praised, like the Crispy Calamari and Wild Mushroom Truffle pizza. But it may be a one-off thing and other dishes might've been more to my liking instead. They have a pretty nice setting and atmosphere though, so perhaps a group reservation for the back may be worthwhile.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service for a girls night out. We started with the Rosemary and Olive bread and the meatballs. We then ordered the spicy lasagna crisp, which was by far our favorite dish of the meal. We had two pastas, the ricotta ravioli and the short rib agnolotti. The ravioli was very good but we weren't a huge fan of the short rib. The dish was well done, we just didn't enjoy the flavor of it. We ended with the chocolate hazelnut dome, which was good for a small sweet bite to end the meal.

Shout out to our server Alondra, who treated us perfectly. I cannot urge anyone who comes here enough to get the vegan chicken. I initially overlooked it for the salmon, but Alondra told me that chicken was better and I absolutely am happy with my choice!!

Woah! Add this to the rotation list. Our vegan friend has been wanting us to try this for quite some time. Thank goodness we finally did. It is sublime! Between the three of us, we had beef, chicken and fish for our mains. Bread, Steak Tartare and Fried Mushrooms to start. Espresso martinis and a minty version for drinks. Great service and atmosphere. Sofa king yummy!!! LOVED IT!

Shocked by these 5 star reviews (maybe we caught them on an off night?). Totally flavorless pastas (vodka pasta + cacio e pepe), the mushroom calamari was fried way too hard, and the bottom of the pizza crust was bordering on undercooked but the toppings were so good. The saving grace was the absolutely heavenly cheeseboard: blue cheese, cashew camembert, dill-crusted goat cheese, brie, caper berries, figs and fig jam, candied pecans, and these incredible balsamic-laced crostini. Every flavor combination made for the perfect bite.

I really enjoyed my dinner experience at Coletta Food: we got a few different things to try. My favorite was their version of calamari and risotto. The calamari was crispy and the texture of the mushrooms inside was cooked perfectly. The outside of the calamari was perfectly crispy and not oily. The risotto was creamy and flavorful. Service: Everyone was very friendly and helped by answering all our questions. They also checked in on us often to ensure we had everything we needed. Ambiance: I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. It's cozy and intimate. The seats are comfortable and I really like the theme of modern elegance. The food came out in dishes to enhance the look.

Overall the food was not too bad for a vegan place. The crispy citsmari was pretty good. Would highly recommend the Wild Mushroom Truffle pizza, that dish stole the show. The pasta dishes themselves were alright. Service was sub-par. Felt like our waiter was really trying to rush us out on a Friday evening. Inside, its pretty dim lit, but had a nice layout overall.

Amazing dining experience! Our waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious. My mom and I ordered the chicken caesar salad, crispy calamari, fig jam and prosciutto pizza, and the tiramusu to end the night. My mom is not vegan so she was particularly impressed with the calamari and how spot on the flavor and textures were. I wasn't a fan of the prosciutto but the pizza overall was really good. It's not often that I'm able to indulge in vegan tiramisu so that was such a treat.

    Are there soy free options?

Yes. Many options on the menu or special items available if you want. Talk to the manager and/or chef and they will accommodate all requests - except of course those wanting meat or dairy!

Is there anything that can be made allium-free (no onion, no garlic)?

Can my allergy to onion and garlic be accommodated here?

Probably. It's a really nice vegan restaurant with an excellent chief. I am sure they would be accommodating

The cauliflower is both soft and firm at the same time; it almost melts in your mouth. There's a reason that two times we went to Miznon, they had already run out. Friendly service, and a chill ambiance. They have fresh tomatoes and long green peppers as a living decor, and they will give you a cooked pepper if you like. They say it's "Kosher Nikkei Cuisine." Nikkei, right? It's Japanese and Peruvian I think. Just the thought makes you feel like you've got a window open, looking out upon two different countries, one on each side, it's that different. The whole thing is fusion, but it's not phony. Not at all. You should have seen the edamame, perfectly salted and green, not all soggy and gray like they make them in most places. The chawanmushi they served was crazy. Smooth as anything. It was in this cute little glass jar, which is kind of a childish thing to do, but it was actually pretty special. It had some kind of crazy salmon roe, ikura, floating on top, and those salty little orange balls just pop in your mouth and taste like the actual ocean. I swear. It really did. Then they bring out some steak. It looked just plain, you know? But it was actually A5 Wagyu. If you know anything about beef, that's as high as it gets. And the sauce? The menu said Huuancaína. That's Peruvian. So it's this crazy fancy Japanese steak dipped in this spicy, cheesy Peruvian sauce. It makes me want to scream, it's so unexpected, but it works. It really does. It was the least phony steak I've ever had. The Sen Sakana Omakase was something else, though. The chef, this Japanese guy who looked about as old as my grandfather, which made you know he was serious brings out twelve pieces of nigiri and this huge spicy tuna handroll. The fish was so cold and fresh and clean. The octopus, that's some crazy tentacle stuff, was chewy but not too chewy. The whole time, I was just eating this fish and watching all the phonies walk by outside on 44th Street. It almost makes you want to cry. It was about as close to real as anything I've ever experienced. You should have seen the place. The lights were sort of dim and yellow, and the wood was all clean and sleek, not all cluttered and phony. It felt almost like you were outside. If you have to eat at a special place, you should eat at Sen Sakana. The food is good, it's not phony, and you can just watch all the morons outside and not have to talk to them. It almost makes you happy.

It lacked the bold Parmesan and peppercorn flavor that usually defines it. The fries stood out in a good way. They had great crunch and texture and were easily the most consistent item on the table. The ribeye was decent but not at the level you expect for a $90 cut. The temperature came out at a proper medium and there was a noticeable char, which added some flavor. However, it tasted like it had been reheated rather than cooked fresh. The bone was not hot and the fat was not fully rendered or caramelized, which took away from the overall experience. It was not bad, but it missed the mark for the price point. Service was good, which helped the experience.
