I recently bought a 23 bolt EV. Everyone was courteous and professional, but I am a bit disappointed with the helpfulness and knowledgeability of my salesperson. I was given a level 1 charge cable with the car. It's not entirely clear online that the dual charger is standard only for the bolt EUV. This was not explained at the dealership. I learned this after the home charger was installed (they install a 240V outlet. That's it) and when asking my salesperson about getting a dual charger cable. He said that there weren't any available at the dealership and that I could order one from Amazon. When I asked which one, since Amazon sells counterfeit and low quality electronics, he had no idea. He transferred me to the parts department and there my query died. I left a voicemail but haven't heard back. I told him when I bought the car that I was going to have a home charger installed, but this fairly basic detail about the dual charger did not come up. Could I upgrade to the dual charger at vehicle purchase? If the reason why was explained I sure would have. If not, I would have ordered one ahead of time. When you drop $31k on something unfamiliar (to most people), it's nice when the person/team selling you it can offer 5min of quick advice to save future annoyance. It didn't help that after Chevy's subsidy for the home charger install it still cost me around $800, so don't expect it to be cheap. Knowing these 'surprise' costs wouldn't have prevented me from getting the car, but it would have prevented the feeling that some basic details were either purposely withheld to close the deal or that staff didn't know them. Either way not a good look. Next time I'll go elsewhere. read more

Called to make an appointment for an oil change around 12:45 today. They said they had a 1:45 and 2:15 available. They asked if I would be leaving the vehicle or staying with it. I said I would be waiting there for them to finish. I asked how long it would take once it was pulled in. The person on the phone said about an hour. I pulled in to the service department, asked for Anthony as requested by the receptionist, and was asked by Anthony if I could leave it until 6pm. Not a chance! Get your stuff together Concord Chevy! Your people are not on the same page. Update... it's been 2 weeks since the original review and I still have not heard from anyone other than the appointments department calling to let me know I missed a scheduled appointment... no kidding... the one I drove away from when Anthony asked if I could leave the car til 6...no call from the service manager... no remedy... again... get your stuff together! read more

I'm in town from out of state and came to the service department with an engine light on for a misfire on cylinder 2.  I told them I had changed the ignition coil, spark plug, and wire for that cylinder and it did not resolve the issue, so it was going to be either an injector or a lifter issue. They said they would take a look and get back to me. The called the next day and said the problem was not the injector, but they would have to take the engine apart to see if the problem was a lifter, which would be $2500 in labor. I told them I would rather just pick up the truck and fix the problem myself when I return home. After picking up the truck and leaving the service department, I headed back to the place I'm staying - about 30 minutes away from the dealership.  The truck started shaking violently, the cruise control wouldn't work, and my stabilitrak light was on.  I went to Autozone and had the truck scanned. Before going to dealership visit, I had one code - Engine misfire cylinder 2. After the dealership "looked at it" there were 4 codes - Ignition coil 1 control circuit; ignition coil 2 control circuit; ABS code U0401-71; Engine misfire cylinder 2. I called the dealership and spoke with Anthony at the service desk and told him my new issues and explicitly told him it would be an hour round-trip to return to the dealership. I expressed my concerns about the entire truck shaking and the transmission shifting so hard it shook the entire truck.  He assured me if I returned to the dealership, they would get it resolved. Once there, he stonewalled me while I sat there for an hour.  They "looked at it" again and wrote a quote for the job they wanted to do - $11,000.  The told me I was on my own if I didn't want to do that. I got back in the truck and as I was leaving, I noticed the engine lights were "mysteriously" all off now after they "looked at it" again. I would rather drive my truck off a cliff than ever set foot in this dealership again.  They were absolutely unprofessional and more than likely unplugged something during the first visit and forgot to plug it back in. Instead of admitting they had done anything, they gave me a quote for $11,000 and when I didn't accept that, I'm pretty sure they fixed whatever they had done wrong. In my opinion, this is hands-down the most dishonorable and dishonest service department I have ever been to.  I hope this review will help keep anyone away from this unprofessional company and its employees. read more

Dealership service departments get a bad reputation for being too expensive or trying to push you into repairs that are not needed. Concord chevrolet is NOT like that. They are always taking care of the customer. And not too expensive and do not try to push repairs that are unnecessary on you. For example, most recently we went in and saw Rodney Phelps and he gave us the correct repair and actually took care of an electronic issue which would otherwise not have been fixed. I wanted to let you know what happened. No we didn't buy the car. There were safety issues with the vehicle they refused to fix that they were hiding by refusing to give me the inspection reports. I'm not going to get in a vehicle that needs to have an axle fixed. Selling me a vehicle that needs repairs is illegal when a safety issue is involved. They really should be ashamed of themselves. I reviewed Concord Chevy about a year ago. We had trouble at the sale and trouble with servicing. We purchased a Bolt. Basically a good car, but due to a battery recall, the car has been needed into not much more than an expensive golf cart. Back in February, the replacement batteries became available per Chevy. We were pre-set to use Concord, so unfortunately, we needed to go through Concord Chevy. They gave us an estimate of 8 weeks. And then we waited. And waited, and after 4 months, we called them only to be told there was a delay. And we waited, and waited and after 8 MONTHES, we finally called again to be told the same line. So we called Chevy again and with a little investigation, discovered our batteries were being placed in new cars for sale, and we were simply being looped to the bottom of the list... perpetually. Chevy USA offered to get involved and if nothing else, get us moved to another dealer. Not only is this dealership bad, they are wholly dishonest. I am not suggesting Chevys are bad, but AVOID CONCORD CHEVY. read more

12/26/2024. Had an appointment for 9am for my "SHOP VEHICLE" first oil change which is part of the agreement which i purchased from Concrete Chevy. Service writer asked if I was waiting, and I indicated that I was. Fast forward 2hrs, I asked another Service writer what the ETA would be and he said "it was assigned to a tech but no work had been started"])). I kindly asked the Service writer whom I did not check in with to give me my keys as I had other places to be. As the vehicle was being pulled up the Service writer I checked in with said "this ain't Jiffy Lube" and this is a all day affair. The thing that erked he knew is was waiting and never indicated an all day affair. This service department overbooks appointments due to being greedy and service writers get paid on commission which means the will take everything and deliver minumly to there customers. Maybe this is why people are tired of dealerships bate and switch tactics. I will now due the Service myself at my shop since the lack of efficency at Concord Chevy. read more

I test drove 3 vehicles including the Blazer EV and the other two dealerships attempted to get me to sign the very day of the test drive with one of them even following up multiple times in the days following. Man, oh man I was so close to giving the five stars. Let me start by saying it was my first visit to Concord Chevrolet. When I pulled up to the service department, one of the associates name is Shylynn came out to my car in about two minutes flat. I brought in my Chevy Silverado to have the right headlight wire harness repaired. Although the price quote was high, I was not surprised. I was contacted about three hours after dropping off my vehicle and the repair was made. I was so happy to find out that the final price was $68 less than the price quote. This dealership is clean and the people are nice. I went and paid for my vehicle, but had to wait 15 minutes for somebody to pull it around the front so I could leave. The end. read more

It was a relief to get a call from Jag Samara. Jag called when one became available and made the entire purchase process straightforward. No pressure to come "right away" or lose the car. I said i can come later in the afternoon to purchase the car and we agreed to that. He was honest with the pricing at MSRP with Spartan protection and wheel locks. I did not want the spartan protection, and he easily removed it. No negotiation required. Again, very honest and straightforward with the sale and is very easy to reach/responsive. After sales service is great also. Found the weather stripping coming off already and he ordered the replacement part right away. I might even add that based on my previous dealership experience, this one is the easiest and quickest transaction.
