Beware the "finance person. We got hit with a well rehearsed ABC sales person. ABC= Always Be Closing. Not for the car. Prices now are well known for cars. This was to SELL an extended warranty and other extras. First we were invited into the sales persons (finance) office. "Let me close the door so there is no noise (And talking privately can be awkward) Then after some small talk the hard sell begins. -Get buy in (Think how much a broken display will cost (The best response is .. so the display is not reliable?) Then the true cost of the extended warranty is hidden under blather about the monthly cost. (The true cost is monthly payment times number of months. In my case 56 months.  Don't forget you are buying two years of coverage spread out over the length of your loan) to disguise the true cost And finally, the first closing attempt. After your eyes start to glaze over. You will be asked in a round about way something like "Would you like to protect your car against breakdown" As the paperwork is passed to you for signature. I had to cry halt... "Are you asking me to sign without telling me straight up what the cost is?" Lets try the sympathy ploy... We were given a story about an extremely unhappy -victim- that came back after the sale asking for a refund. Nope, not going to happen. The law protects you from deceptive sales for cars. But not from support contracts. After this, on our way out the well oiled sales machine continues. A muscular young man in tight fitting clothes comes run out to us "I'm so excited, your car is almost ready" Just jumping from joy. And final an attempt for more buy-in... of a sort. Several sales team members come out and try to get us to agree to give a good review. If you nod your head yes, it is likely you will agree and feel obligated to give that good review. Did not work for me as you can see. Look, the service is good. The car is great. But this is the worst hard sell I've ever experienced in a car dealership. I won't be back.   Just go in understanding what the true cost of the warranty (two year converge spread out over the length of the loan). If a two thousand dollar repair will wreck you life, then maybe you do need an extended warranty And btw, the sales continue. My wife just informed me that she gets several robo calls a month. I bought the extended warranty and called to see if the warranty is still valid as a thermostat needs to be changed. I have called the service department 4 times in the course of two weeks and did not get a call back. I did receive a call this morning for me to rate the service. I let them know that I never even received a call from a service advisor. The representative transferred me to Service but was hung up on upon hello. I called back to speak with the service manager and of course this person could not be located. Unfortunately no other dealership can look up my warranty information. I can't even begin to describe the outstanding customer service the Concord Chevy team provided me when I thought I was down on my luck. A month ago I bought a new Silverado TrailBoss from Jag over at the dealership, I loved the truck but after 2 weeks of ownership, the issues started. I found myself at the dealership service area 4 times in one week with the same issue over and over only to find out the fix for my truck was about 2 months away. Needless to say, I was really upset. I asked to speak with a manager and eventually got to speak with Matt the general manager. Rather than pushing me off to deal with GM on my own, Matt was quick to reassure me he would do the right thing, and right thing he did! He decided to replace my vehicle with a new one! With COVID causing the huge chip shortage coming across an LT Trail Boss was not an easy thing to do. Matt put Jag on the case as we had already worked together. I am so thankful he did! Jag was the true superstar of getting this replacement done for me. He searched high and low at every dealership in the Bay Area to find me the Trail Boss I wanted, he was like a bloodhound. After 3 days of me blowing up their phones looking for answers I decided to just let it go, thinking it would be a month at least until a new truck came in for me. On the day I decided to stop calling and texting Jag, he calls me and says "Casey, I got you one." I couldn't believe it. Not only was it my exact truck, it was in the color I originally wanted and had the upgrades I wanted! Today after exactly a month of buying my old one with problems I rolled home in my new and improved Silverado LT Trail Boss! Like I said, these guys didn't have to do what they did for me but they went beyond the extra mile. A huge shout out to Jag and Matt for everything. They will continue to have my business for years to come and I will tell everyone interested in buying a new Chevy to go see Jag at Concord Chevy as they have the best service out of any car dealership that I've ever been to. Feel taken advantage of after buying my 2022 colorado here. They got me for nearly 12k over sticker price. I didn't know until after seeing msrp vs my payoff estimate. I've been trying to take it back to trade in for a bigger truck and they tell me I need 10k on top if I want to get a older truck with more miles. They only respond quick if your ready to buy. The Service Department at Concord Chevrolet is completely clueless. I've made 3 appointments for them to service my car. The first time, they didn't look at it for two days. The next time they said my online appointment must not have made it into their system. Today, now the 3rd time, my appointment was in the system (for an oil change), but the representative told me they had no one available to change my oil. I called back 2 days later to schedule the service. After several calls on my part when my promised call-back did not occur, I finally got the service scheduled for a Saturday early afternoon 2 weeks away. Reset my miles to 0 when I dropped it off it was over 140 miles used and 1/4 of my tank. 2 weeks of constantly calling service, not once did they answered. Always on hold or calls being hung up. Left voicemails no one returned my calls. Picked up my car and same issues with transmission after they said it was fine and nothing was wrong with it. Took it to another dealer half a day having my car they diagnosed it right away told me it was my transmission.
