I went today for the first time with two friends. We all really enjoyed the food. One of had the reuben, CBLT, and the Cheddar Bacon burger. Everything was amazing, very tasty and cooked just the way everybody wanted theirs cooked. We also had desert and it was delicious. Our server was outstanding, she was attentive but not overbearing. They opened several years ago and each time we've eaten there, the food and service gets worse and worse. You know when they hand out gift certificates as an apology for sub par cuisine or any one of the "are you kidding me" experiences that maybe... just maybe you'd make an effort to remedy or improve things... but no... Tonight i had the calamari which was overly battered and served less than warm.... No warm would be an improvement. The Seafood Stuffed Haddock had a weird aftertaste so less than half was consumed. It wasn't a fishy taste... kind of overly lemony or something... but straight up "Yuk".. Such a disappointment... clearly your paying for atmosphere here... it surely isn't the fine dining you'd hope for. read more

I don't get the draw here. I have been several times as well as to private functions. You always need a reservation. The food is average in my opinion and overpriced. With that being said I am not a fan of chain restaurants. Recently had the tenderloin. This was not a $50 steak. Was tough and not cooked correctly. Asparagus was chewy and thick The seafood casserole had too many breadcrumbs to cover the little seafood that was in there. Was dry as well. The atmosphere is nice. Service was ok. On October 6th my family lost one of the most beautiful women in the world, my nana. This past Tuesday we held services and after a long day of mourning, we found we all needed to eat. We all agreed we would go and arrived for 9pm. I'll never be able to describe the joy Erica, our server brought to us. Luckily the food is always consistent and are meals were immaculate! But Erica! She made the restaurant shine. She took the time to understand how we felt. Even though the restaurant closed at 10pm and we placed our food order 20 min before they close. As we sat the only table left, everyone, but mostly Erica, truly helped an entire family work through a tough day and fill our bellies with a delicious meal and our hearts with some much needed joy. After the monstrosity of a lunch service given to us at Tuscan Market we decided to cancel our food and go to The Copper Door. From the moment we walked in Grace the hostess greeted us immediately and brought us to our table. Our server Ethan was top notch. He greeted us with high energy and clearly was happy to be working there. He was professional and attentive but still kept us laughing!! The food was delicious (as expected). Ethan kept our waters and drinks filled at all times and even picked out his favorite dessert for us- the butter cake. So thankful we decided to go to The Copper Door. The place was bigger then I thought from the outside. The door was a big old cooper door the inside of the restaurant was amazing even know we are still in the middle of the pandemic there where people at the bar which is awesome. We sat a table with a nice view of the place. The waitress was very nice the menu's are on your phone and we started with the bread it was nice and hot with butter very good the appetizer were just right we had mussels and calamari and chicken waffle with bacon very good my friend had the shepherds pie with gravy came out hot just perfect nice and juicy myself I had the Ribeye with mashed potatoes and green beans. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection medium rare the juices flowing from the ribeye was mouth watering. The pizza was also very good as well so with all that said I was differently pleased with the service and the food well done. read more

We've all known someone that has unexplained/misplaced confidence. That's the simplest way I can describe The Copper Door. The décor was nice, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams; a large fireplace separating the bar from the dinning room. Our waitress was awkward, on top of being fairly unpolished (for a place that charges $40+ for a steak, $35 for beef tips). To be fair, this was true of most of the staff we interacted with. I do understand that this is New Hampshire, not Boston/NYC, but I do have expectations for service based on the cost of menu items. We had a late reservation on a weeknight and the place had few patrons (I'd say 3 other tables seated); it took over 15 minutes from ordering to getting the starter salad (which isn't unreasonable, but longer than seemed necessary considering... salad, and so few customers). Salad was fine, nothing special (i.e. I wouldn't order again). My wife ordered the BBQ pork pizza for her meal, I ordered the seafood casserole, both were good. We finished with berries and whipped cream, which was very literal, a handful of berries with two dollops of whipped cream. All and all, neither of us were impressed, mostly because we'd heard such great things about the place and it failed to meet those moderate expectations. For me it mostly came down to not being worth what they charge; if the entrees were at least $5 cheaper, it would be more in line with the overall feel/service of the establishment. read more

What a great experience. New Year's Day and we were seated immediately. Our meals were delicious and the fresh warm bread was amazing.

Food is just ok. The dining room is gorgeous, fancy, and clean. This is a perfect place for a celebration. But other than that they just sup par. Price wise middle to high. So depends on what you looking for in the dining experience, we are foodies so foods taste should match the price and we don't think they are. read more

We had such a great experience here last week! We showed up with a party of 13 and the organizer forgot to make a reservation. It was a large, unexpected party, but they were able to seat us in a very nice private room. Our server was exceptional, especially with the young children in our party. Everyone enjoyed the drinks and food - some standouts were the brunch drink specials (mule, mimosa and punch), the tacos, frittata and waffle. We will definitely be back when visiting family in the area. read more

I've been to the Copper Door twice. Once for lunch with my wife, and a second time for a rehearsal luncheon. In both cases, the food was excellent, the service was on point and the environment was perfect. For the rehearsal luncheon we had the bourbon beef tips, salmon and the grilled cheese with tomato soup as the options. All three were enjoyed, but the grilled cheese was the biggest hit. Regarding drinks, their bartenders do a fantastic job with a wide variety of cocktails and martinis. For our first meal there about a month ago, I got the Reuben and my wife had the grilled cheese. The best part of the first trip by far was the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. I'd strongly suggest Copper Door on any occasion. read more
