Shoulda listened to the most recent reviews. Headed here about 15 mins ago, hoping the negative comments were an anomaly. From the minute I set food in the funkyily decorated establishment...the dude with brown hair just seemed least interested in answering my simple question of which I've cream do you use in your ice cream latte. I ordered a taro matcha iced. I got a very cute colorful sickeningly sweet hot drink with 10 ice cubes floating in it. I gave it about 5 sips post mixing the coffee, but no chance of improvement. I had to chuck it in the street bin. I always like to support local chains but this is a true waste of money and could do without that attitude on a Monday morning. Thankfully I'm at a very good coffee place (just across the street) that knows how to make an iced drink.

Easy to fin with indoor seatings. The staffs were nice and patience since I came with a group of girls. Lavender latte (4/5) Carrot muffin (3/5) Egg tart (4/5) Overall, great selections and I would definitely come back to try their other drinks.

Wow!! We just stumbled into this place and what a find it was!! I got a decaf mocha and hubby got a drip coffee. Both were absolutely excellent and the service was great!! The place is tiny so grab your cup to go. Pastries looked great too!

Good flavors to add to your cappuccino and they were very flexible about doing so! I got a taro cappuccino. Good prices as well and service was great! Not much place to sit but is a good grab and go option.

After enjoying a bagel, a few of us decided to grab some coffee, so we went to Copper Mug, which was nearby and had good reviews. Also, I was enticed by their Portuguese egg tarts. The interior is on the smaller side with limited seating. The counter had a selection of pastries on display, like tahini chocolate chunk, croissants, and variety of sweet breads. LAVENDER LATTE The latte was a bit watery and lacked a strong lavender flavor. It wasn't great. PASTÉIS DE NATA The puff pastry of the egg tart was very thick with not much egg custard inside. It was also a bit soggy, and the custard lacked the vanilla notes and velvety creaminess I was looking for. They source their beans from Superlost Coffee (a local Brooklyn roaster), which I ended up buying a bag of. Despite the coffee and egg tart being mediocre, I'd be interested in trying their other pastry options.

Stopped in after lunch and had an amazing latte! I got the maple and cinnamon iced latte and it is so good after a little mix. The service was great and quick and the store itself was quaint but well decorated and summery. There were a few seats outside and a bar with stools inside.

The Copper Mug may be small, but they've done an incredible job utilizing the space. From the charming wall art and signs to the way the food is arranged. The service here is consistently great! I appreciate how they take the time to explain the options and help match them to my preferences. On my first visit, I tried the popular Lavender Latte with oat milk. It started off strong and flavorful, though the taste faded and turned slightly bitter toward the end. On my second visit, I went for the Maple Cinnamon Latte with oat milk; absolutely delicious from start to finish! I still dream about it. At around $7.50 for a specialty latte with oat milk, it's totally worth it. I just wish it were closer so I could enjoy it every morning. And don't sleep on their Portuguese tarts!!

I have NO idea what warrants the high rating of this place. I was nearby and seeking a good coffee spot and this one had the highest rating. I like to try new places, so I thought this was a safe bet. When I arrived, it just looked sad...and kinda crummy. Everything looked...cheap. But I thought it might be one of those un assuming places, but the quality was quite good. Nope. The latte was clah, not very hot and ever the cup & lid were cheap looking and feeling. I tossed it after a few sips. And I got 2 of those pasteis and they were overwhelmingly sweet. One was hot enough, but the other was not. If you are nearby, just go anywhere else nearby. read more

Really adorable coffee shop. Walking in felt like being on a movie set. The stools and chairs are a brightly colored yellow so it immediately feels warm and cheerful. I got a croissant and a mocha and my husband enjoyed the pumpkin bread and drip coffee. All of it was very tasty and the coffee was flavorful and strong. Our barista was super cool and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed and more importantly he was fast. This is a cute little spot to grab a cup and then walk over to the park to enjoy. read more

While preparing my order, an employee stopped me and asked, "Question for you... why are you wearing box braids? You're not Black, and I thought it was only a Black people thing." This comment was completely inappropriate, unsolicited, and had no place in a customer interaction. As a Filipino woman, I found this remark not only disrespectful but also culturally insensitive. Braiding has existed across many cultures, including Filipino culture, for generations. Regardless, it is never appropriate for an employee to question a customer's appearance or make assumptions about their ethnicity or cultural identity. I came in simply to enjoy my morning coffee, not to be interrogated or judged based on how I look. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable, singled out, or stereotyped while patronizing a business. I hope management takes this matter seriously and provides additional training to ensure all customers are treated with professionalism, respect, and without prejudice. I heard they have a good rainbow cookie! I left with 8 rainbow cookies and 1 slice of coconut cake. I schlepped them on the L, then the C, and all the way to the UWS.
