They give you a spicy sauce on the side that is very good. This place is consistently busy. You order up front and have to wait about 15 minutes or more if there's a lot of people. It's definitely worth it. I will definitely come back to try their other burritos or breakfast options. read more

I lived around the corner from The Corner Cottage when it originally opened and have always loved it. Then I came back 2 weeks ago to get lunch. Hadn't been here since the new owners took over. I ordered a chicken burrito and my mom got a cheeseburger. Also got a carne asada burrito for my husband. Wait time was a little long so I was hungry when I finally got the food. That was the worst burrito I've ever eaten. I could only finish half. It tasted like there was cheese wiz instead of shredded cheese. Also the burrito had no flavor. My mother's cheeseburger was terrible as well. The bun was over toasted and the hamburger was dry. My husband's burrito barely had any meat in it! I will not ever be coming back here! I didn't add salsa to my burrito, but I wish I did1 -I guess it's really good. They only take cash, but you are able to scan a QR code and order/pay online if you walk and do not have cash on you. The service was super friendly and fast. I wish we had something like this in the bay area where I live. I think this is my first serious negative yelp because I just had to. First time going, heard someone on tik-tok recommend it. Wow wtf! First impression, you walk through the door and it feels like you're walking into a sauna. The heat bitch slaps you like BLWOW!! It was intense, The boss is clearly an asshole, not having air-conditioning for those poor workers, I even recommended They put some window tint on the windows as it was bare with no blinds, it was ridiculous in there.. and it was only in the 80s outside. I could not imagine what it's like in the 90s and 100s.. second, we didn't know, but it was cash only, so we had to re-order on a digital pad so we could pay credit card, the boss doesn't even have a credit card reader. After finally placing our breakfast burrito, 1 hash brown, and steak sandwich order, we waited outside for more than 30 minutes, we thought we heard our name called, but as they don't have a intercom, we weren't sure so had to continually bother the guy inside., and then the food finally came, and it was pathetic, I should've taken a picture of my lack of steak sandwich, and my friend's burrito was very very sad, it look like an eight year-old, made it, and forgot half the ingredients, I give them one star only because when we re-ordered on the fucking machine, my friend forgot to get my drink, so when we got our food, the guy gave me one drink, free, other than that there is no way in hell I would ever go back to that hell shack. Wow, there is a full spectrum of reviews on this little yet quite popular breakfast spot located in Burbank. I called to place an order shortly after they opened, and my order was ready for pick up in minutes. Fresh and good ingredients. I got the sausage and bacon burrito. the burrito was on point. Good portion, well balanced, perfect amount of meat ( not over whelming ), I like the hash browns which were perfectly seasoned ( slightly resembling mash potatoes in taste), the cheese they used paired well with the eggs. The salsa was freshly made, very refreshing, slightly too spicy for me, but it was delicious none the less. In my opinion the food is great . Note: Since this place gets very busy, during rush, food quality could vary. ( according to other reviews ). Personally I had a great experience, I really enjoyed my burrito and will be returning. Cash only! A fantastic burrito!!! If you're looking for one of the best burritos, this is the place. I got the steak and have had the sausage and both were delicious. My favorite part of the burrito is the potatoes that they grill on the grill top so it gets a nice crunch. My second favorite part is the salsa, which is amazingly spicy and a perfect compliment. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is that both times I've been here has been more than a 45 minute wait. While the burrito was amazing, I don't know if I would ever wait this long for a burrito. This is one of my favorite breakfast burrito spots in the neighborhood. I always order the bacon breakfast burrito, which is so good with their homemade salsa. You must get here early because they open at 7 am and stop serving breakfast at 11 am, and it gets super busy during these times, especially Saturday mornings. They have ample parking available. They have limited inside and outside seating areas. The place is relatively small but gets a good amount of people. Be prepared to wait a bit for your order. I had written a negative review a couple years ago with the old owner due to burritos being smaller and mainly stuffed with nothing but potatoes, but with this new owner the burritos are bigger than before and stuffed with a perfect ratio of meat, eggs, cheese, and potatoes! It's the same classic corner cottage taste but just fits together way better and you actually can get steak in every bite now! They also accept credit cards on online orders now which is so convenient. No more having to call and being put on hold when they're busy, just order online and ready in 10 minutes. The restaurant feels cleaner now too, they definitely are taking good care of the place. Great job new owners keep doing what you're doing! read more

Equally important, they were open just before their advertised time of 6am. Ordered a bacon and sausage breakfast burrito. They give the option of salsa on the side or inside. Now the burrito may be a little smaller, maybe, but it was nonetheless more than filling. The salsa is and was better than any I have had anywhere. Even every Mexican joint. Amazing fresh taste, jalapeños and cilantro. Amazing. Anyway the price had increased, but not so much that it mattered. I used to think it was exceptionally inexpensive. Confusingly inexpensive. Now, even with an additional meat charge it was still only $12 and some change. A very good price still and still much cheaper than many others that are as high ranked as here. Burrito was hot and fresh, obviously, great bacon and sausage flavor, great egg, potatoes and meat ratio. I've got zero complaints. Definitely good enough to be considered one of the best in this area. Not the best, but their salsa puts it near the top. We stopped here for breakfast on a Monday morning around 9:30. The place wasn't too crowded and we got a table inside. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon and my husband got the streak breakfast burrito. Both burritos had egg, potatoes and cheese and came with two small containers of fiery green salsa.
