When we had issues with our HPWH in my unit, I was stranded and tried looking for the best plumbing services company that would not only do the work efficiently but also within a reasonable time and cost-effectively. CPI was more compelling with positive reviews and so I called them and to my surprise, their customer services and response rate were quite impressive. Despite calling in the late afternoon, a technician was sent to my house to come inspect the problem at no extra charges. After inspection and diagnosing the problem, the technician informed that they would come early next morning to do the actual work. Indeed early the following morning, two CPI plumbers drove to my house to repair the faulty HPWH. The plumbers were very effective and efficiently repaired the HPWH at a very reasonable price. In Oct 2025, heavy rains caused one of our drainage pipes to start gusing water back upwards @ Menlo Park. We experienced some flooding in one of our units. Luis and Zion from CPI showed up the next morning and noticed that a street facing drainage pipe was completely blocked by debris that had blocked the out flow of water causing it to flow back up. They cleared the debris and also performed inspection and cleanup of our drain pipes to ensure they are clear. We called CP| to evaluate a possible leak beneath the shower below the flooring in association with a continuous musty odor. A service manager (Shamir Dimaranan) came to our residence and went through a crawl space to determine if there was a leak. Luckily, there was no leakage. Shamir thoroughly explained the situation and offered some remedies to improve the odor. Mr. Dimaranan was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I called your emergency number first thing Saturday morning and Dustin called me right back. He went out there late morning and found a hole in the drain pipe and a backup nearby that was making the leak even worse. He snaked the line and temporarily patched the line so gases wouldn't escape. He said I would need to get restoration out there to (again) dry out the crawlspace before CPI could replace the drain pipe. It is plastic not cast iron apparently.
