They have a Mac and cheese that isn't traditional but it has FLAVOR, if you looking for easy mac go back to Food4Less. We split a meal and thank God we did. Bacon Jam Burger: Burger patty was decent. Bun didn't hold up too well, tomato and lettuce just haphazardly built. Barely any cheese or jam, though the bacon jam was delicious. Everything tasted great and was prepared fresh, but at the end of the day, it's still just a burger. I think the burgers we're about $14 which would have been fine if they were a bit bigger in size. Also, everything is ala carte. So even though they welcome you to a bag of chips and a drink AS IF it were a combo, it's not a combo and not inclusive in the price of the burger. Crack is in a beatdown clubhouse of a beatdown 9-hole golf course - Bixby Village Golf Course. I don't golf and I don't really care about the clubhouse. If you like hip or fancy, this ain't it. Dave is a genuine guy, he'll tell you what's on his mind - I like that. I asked him what I should order, he told me - and it was delicious. Thanks Dave. And the menu is on the screen, pick something! Don't ask for gluten-free, vegan-this or lactose that...not the place. Sides? No french fries. White bean chicken chili is excellent and as is the slaw (small bites, not gluttonous bowls). You can get chips, maybe watermelon in season...get the chili or slaw. I loved the Dirty Burger, Bacon Jam Burger is a solid choice too. Price: It costs what it costs. Dave is working for a living and turning out great food, seems reasonable to me. Bonus points for the ice cold IPA he delivered to my thirsty self. 5 stars! This is a really odd place. Think of the dingy snack bar at a really crappy golf course. Next, replace the mindless minimum wage worker with a hands-on owner. Sub in an outdoor grill on the viewing deck for the typical greasy flat top grill. Make gourmet burgers the staple instead of a tasteless hot dog pulled from grey water. Toss in some awesome homemade side dishes to choose from and pick up a can of beer from the clubhouse fridge. Mind blown..... This is one of the worst golf courses I have ever played ...... and the best burger ever to come from a golf course snack bar. They have a nice deck to check out the course, a few indoor tables, decent parking lot, and Dave, the owner, serving wise cracks along with his tasty burgers. Plenty of menu pictures posted to describe his burgers but my bacon jam concoction was excellent. They hand form the ground beef right in front of you and grill them to perfection. Before heading there, we obviously read some of the reviews and the photos posted on yelp. And those reviews definitely reflected on the service and the food itself. Just a heads up, getting there is this small little looking house at the Bixby Golf course. You won't miss it, just understand it is on the golf course. We sat down, and we waited a couple of minutes while the owner Dave (?), was helping a ton of the customers. We weren't bothered one bit by waiting because we were observing how Dave was taking care of each customer. The owner is hilarious, and we noticed that he ensured every customer was satisfied. We ordered the dirty burger and the bacon jam burger. They were damn delicious. I'm tired of these "for the gram" "tiktok" custom-made fully craft over the top burgers. Sometimes, or most of the time, I just want a damn burger. Cut the BS, put it in my mouth, and make me smile. That's what Crack is all about. Is that why this place is called crack? These are simple burgers on crack . The sides were great too. I'd recommend the chili. Or you can just get some of the chips on the counter that goes well with your burger. Am I coming back? I saw this place has a 5 star rating and had to check it out. Look... the food is good. Burger and white bean chili were super tasty. But It's not what I would expect from a 5 star place. The ambiance was lackluster and food options minimal. They don't serve fries. However, if you get the meal it does come w a drink, side (not fries) and a mini rootbeer float. But all that for $18 which is a little pricy for this type of VERY casual establishment. All in all a pretty good joint and I might come back if I really want a burger but maybe not. Pretty solid food sitting at the golf course. Good cooked on a Blackstone griddle outside. Burger was solid, but not a smash burger by base standards, but still good no less, very homemade style.
