I have seen many friends post about this place as well as seeing this all over Instagram and TikTok, so when I was in the area, I just had to try it. When I located this place on Google maps, it took me one of the plazas. I tried to look for the coffee shop within the plaza and I could not locate it. We just beat the rush and were ordering on the kiosk when a line started to form outside of the store. The drinks came out very fast and were so tasty. If you are looking for Vietnamese coffee fix Da Vien pretty much sets the standard of what these type of drinks are suppose to taste like. Yes the lines do get long but you can order online for pickup! It's located in the always busy Saigon Pagoda plaza in the old Loop location. They do have a kiosk on the side if you don't want to order from the cashier too but both lines usually get long especially on weekends. We've visited at least a dozen times since they've opened and tried almost the entire menu. So top favorites are definitely the Egg Coffee, and Da Vien coffees. You do have the option to select your coffee strength. Note if you get regular strength you could just add water to get it to the "less strong" so share with someone and get a cup of ice to make it into two drinks. Yes they do sell a cup of ice on the menu for this exact reason like many of the elders do this because its too strong for them. The least favorite are the sesame latte, its just pretty standard without much black sesame flavor. The same for the ube latte it just has the purple color but no ube flavor either. I'd also skip the entire tea menu has its just standard tea for $6. You should only be coming here for the coffee drinks or the million other tea choices in the area or even in the same plaza.
