Bagels were fine - the Times Square was good but have had better in nyc. Personally felt there was too much egg. Food came out really fast and there is searing, so we ate there

Absolutely delicious! I found this place on a whim as I was in the Delancey area and was looking for a place to have breakfast. I took my chances and ordered the Radio City breakfast sandwich on toasted sesame bagel. My mind was blown upon first bite. Eggs, corn beef, hash brown, cheese , what a combination! It was worth every penny.

Prep kitchen in Essex Market, street level. Sesame seed bagel w smoked salmon spread ($5.25) was 5/5 stars. Fam enjoyed premade breakfast sandwiches, 3.75/5 stars given price. Cinnamon babka was 2.5/5 stars and apple stick was 2/5 stars don't bother on either -- better to buy at Trader Joe's 1 block away. Counter service was friendly. Small seating area next to counter, restrooms and additional seating upstairs and downstairs.

Wow. NYC bagels and all the shmear that goes with it. The Essex Market, which it is inside, is a tour all on its own. A great place to visit for all the baked goods you're looking for plus delicious sandwiches.

Remember to check in for a free drip coffee (which was surprisingly very tasty). My bf ordered an iced oat milk latte and a cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The total was $10. The latte was pretty good and the bagel was good as well, but nothing special. The cashier was super nice! Overall the quality is just okay, but the free coffee and friendly service are what bumped this experience from 3 to 4 stars.

Pretty good breakfast options, including breakfast burritos. Iced coffee was good. Try the rainbow bagel, because why not!

Toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese was really good.

Ok. Minus 1 star for adding me to your email marketing list without my permission. Seriously? The only thing I did was pay using my credit card on your Square POS. That doesn't give you permission to start spamming me. ------ Cute place in Essex Market that serves bagels, muffins, cookies, etc. Only like 6 stools to sit and eat so it's mostly take with you. We just had the bagels and they were really good NY bagels. Essex Market seems like a cool place to check out and grab breakfast/lunch.

The bagels in the window that caught my attention

I crave good bagels and will travel miles to get one. Having lived in New York for many years I know a good bagel when I find one, similar to truly good pizza. While visiting the Tenement Museum across the street I saw this place out of the corner of my eye. The window with bagels made me clamor for one and run through traffic to get it. We bought a couple of everything bagels. Since we were getting them to have later we did want a schmear, and they were so accommodating to give us a small container just for the two bagels. We were thankful not to have to buy a large container. Well we toasted the bagels later, applied the schmear and it was EXCEPTIONAL! A real New York bagel. The texture and taste was perfect. It is obvious that the way they are specially prepared makes all the difference. If in New York go out of your way to get a truly great bagel.

The orange has a base made of chocolate Rice Krispies. All of them have more fruity filling than the mousse. They are very fragile. I recommend eating there if you can. Finding can be a challenge because it's busy and there aren't many seats. I got mine to go just to be taken to the park across the street . The mushroom kind are totally ruined. It has strawberriy jelly and it was a mess. The orange one was almost ruined too. The mango has some diced mangoes. I devoured three of them instantly. Definitely come back to try more.

There was no place to sit down because of how busy it was but the staff kept the line moving quick enough. The place still seemed reasonably stocked with their desserts and treats, despite the late afternoon time that I arrived. I ordered 4 different treats to go and they're packed in small box individually. Unfortunately, they didn't quite stay intact during my trek back to my hotel and were tumbled around in the boxes. Nonetheless, the taste and flavors held up well and even after a few days in the fridge. The yuzu daisy has this vivid pastel yellow-pink base and adorable gelatinous yellow gem atop a white flower. The yuzu gives a subtle infusion of tart that is balanced out by the light delicate skin texture of the rest. Sitting atop a thin round rice crispy. I loved the red mushroom one which is a creamy pink mousse inside the cap. The stalk is a thin porcelain-white chocolate light base also filled with a rich cream. Adjacent are two cute little tree nuts. The orange and mango have such vivid colors and are aesthetically pleasing too. Just like the previous ones, their delicate chocolate exterior houses a rich tarty mousse-y filling. I think the mushroom has a better balance and variety of flavors. Although I don't eat mousse treats often, I look forward to trying some of the other ones in the future, like the blueberry, banana and cloud.

This used to be my favorite Italian bakery. I haven't been to this bakery in years like ten years…read moresince I was a teenager. Today I decided to make a special trip to go here to grab a few goodies. I forgot how small the place was and how low the ceilings were. That wasn't an issue though. The place was nice and cakes were stacked neatly. What was surprising to me is that they don't have any cookies laid in the front display. It's all placed in the back almost hidden. I was deeply disappointed with their cookie selection. It was deeply surprising that they don't sell the butter cookies that had jam in the middle and dipped with chocolate on one side with sprinkles. I did ask the clerk and even showed him a pic of what I was looking for and he said they never sold them. They only had the linzer cookies and they didn't look so good. They also did not have the lobster tail. They did have the sfogliatelle which they also called a lobster tail. I thought they were not the same? Some bakeries sell both and they are definitely not the same. I did end up buying one of their sfogliatelle with cream and some rugelachs. The sfogliatelle was good but the rugelachs tasted slightly underbaked. It did taste fresh though unlike many I've had in other bakeries. However, for $28 per pound, I wouldn't get it again. For those not having lobster tail and not having the Italian cookies, I will have to give Veniero's a low rating. I never thought an Italian bakery would not carry staples. Very disappointed. I need to find another Italian bakery now.

The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite.
