I don't know what happened recently to this Denny's but the service and food has gone way down. We used to come eat here and the food was good and the service was excellent but now it's really bad. It looks like none of the usual waitresses are here. We will definitely look for somewhere else to eat now. We had to wait 15 minutes before anyone offered us something to drink. They have many upgrades to the establishment and the food is good BUT the new waitress's that work there and management are morons. The inability to "Sub" out an ingredient is ridiculous. I've been hesitant about coming here during dinner time because we've had some bad experiences. I came here with my family and Kim C. waited on us. Super nice and attentive lady. She was the only waitress and she was on it, making sure we were taking care of while she was running around. The wait wasnt long and there was more people than other times we had been there. I've been coming here for yearssss, from highschool days where i'd walk in intoxicated at 4am to even late night study sessions where you can't sit at home & get anything accomplished so i'd take my books w/ me sit in the corner of the restaurant with a appetizer sampler plate ... Or even these days where you're just hanging out with friends late night & you're just sick and tired of Jack in the Box drive thru .. it's a great diner..! I've come in here with a party of 2 or a handful of my boys... to even the rowdiest 7-8 people you'd ever meet & we used to be so obnoxious in there..but that never changed how we were treated... They've cycled through many workers here through out the years & they've all been great from my experience... They're all hard working whether it's at midnight or 4am, they'll greet you with a smile & do their best to satisfy you. TIPS: Breakfast is served all day, you can customize your pancakes... If you remember ordering something a while back but it's not on the menu, ASK! They might still be able to make it for you..! (done this a few times with their desserts)... They've got a $2, $4, $6 & $8 menu as well which is cool where you're just tryna grab a little snack or don't feel like reading a whole menu while you're belligerently drunk in the middle of the night.. This is or more like was my favorite Denny's. Even when we moved further away, I always make the drive to this place because it's always top notch. The owner is usually there and it was rare that he wasn't there. I doubt this would have happened if he was there. However, Saturday July 5, 2014 my brother and I ordered and shared the super bird, it was really busy and the wait was long. Long story short, my brother and I have been confirmed with salmonella. Sounds like we had the same waiter as Joann g! Well never come to this Denny's again service took too long our server was busy doing stock on condiments instead of giving us our appetizers which were cold when we got them cheese not melted and overall just over blah so we waited to see how the rest of our food will turn out hunt over easy eggs understandable that they need to be somewhat raw but not completely raw yolk was cold. Went here with my boyfriend on a date on a Wednesday night. All the people were sitting on the same side in booths so no privacy and was loud. Was rushed to order and the guy started taking our menus as we finished ordering appetizers. Then I said we were ready to order our meals and he took my boyfriends order and scrambled our menus and rushed off before I ordered. Thanks for nothing. This location has the worst service,I don't know why I continue to come here. It's not an isolated incident. There are 3 tables around us waiting to order,it's not even busy. This place just gets better every time we go there. We have eaten there probably 4 times over the past 6 months and it is always delicious. We've been to all the other more popular and pricey and overrated chains, like BJ's, Chili's, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc., and the food at those places just doesn't compare. If you are just going for food, this is the place. The staff is very attentive and courteous, the food is always fresh and very nicely presented, and the prices are amazing. Two couples ahead with 3 gets taken to a table for 4 and they complain a little bit and gets taken to a booth for 6 with more room to move around while a family of 5 lose out on the only big tables they have .
