Their website says "Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week" but when I came in at 11:00 pm the door was locked and they gave me a rude look and said they were closed. So maybe change your website so people don't waste gas money or time going to you place if you are just gonna give terrible attitude and send them away. Probably am going to reach out to corporate. I was going to write about all the things that are wrong,,but everyone else already mentioned them,,, freezing inside,, cook and hostess on their phones, hostess in the kitchen cooking then she is sitting at a customers table as we were leaving,, my fish and chips were tossed on a plate smaller than a dinner plate,, just throw on,,I could see the kitchen,, no garnish just there.. Same with my friends steak,, just on the plate with all the juices,, we had to ask for the mashed potatoes that were ordered originally,, nothing like the pictures on the menu.. who is running this show?? I used to love this Denny's but after today I will never ever go back when We received our food and when my sister got her breakfast there was hair all in her eggs and some around the rest of her food and no not just one there was many hairs in it !!!!I do not recommend this Denny's at all! They never answer the phone for call in orders and I once ordered a stack of pancakes where the two top pancakes were warm and the last bottom one was cold and hard. My boyfriend went here today and he a had a very horrible experience. This morning while enjoying breakfast with his father my boyfriend was absurdly interrupted by the manager who demanded he take off his hood. My boyfriend explained that he was just cold because the air conditioning was blasting on him. After hearing this, the manager went on to use the excuse of recent crimes that occurred there for why he needed to take his hood off. I feel it was extremely inappropriate for the manager to feel it was his place to enforce dress codes onto paying customers. This is the most disorganized and poorly run Denny's ever. I hate coming here. I only came here today because it so close to my job and I had to get something to eat before I went work. They take 20 minutes to sit you down then they take another 20 minutes to come take your order then they take another 40 minutes to bring your food. I usually don't write reviews, but the horrible experience I had at this Denny's should be posted here. I was with my youth group and our ages ranged from 15 to 25, me being one of the oldest. There were ten of us who decided to get soups and desserts here after a late night gathering. Strike 1: No soups...on a cold, rainy night. It's on the menu. Strike 2: Some of the teenagers were playing a game of Monopoly Deal while waiting for our order. The game is pretty much a card deck version of Monopoly. A manager/supervisor--from what I could gather from her clothing--came over to tell them to stop. We asked why and the the lady said we all looked under-aged and she wouldn't allow gambling. Although we told her there was no gambling (i.e., money) involved and what we had was not even a regular card deck, she told us to "just stop." Strike 3: Even though I asked for split checks, our server gave us one check. Since he didn't come around much, we just went up to the cashier and told him some of the items were going to be paid separately. I realized that they had overcharged us for a soft drink item and all the cashier did was stare at me and repeatedly ask, "so who's going to cover it?" One of us just added it on to our tab since it really wasn't all that much. I just wasn't expecting to essentially be accused of gypping a freakin' Denny's. I don't know if the people here are always dismissive and condescending towards young people but that's certainly what they were the night we were there. Our group travels quite a bit all over the Bay Area and Denny's is usually where we grab our late night meals and desserts. We've even partnered with a Denny's (Contra Costa Blvd. in Pleasant Hill) for a fundraiser. Now we know which location/branch to avoid. read more

I used to go here and eat dinner every night when this location still had excellent and attentive foodservers like Rene Patino. Now, all they have are lazy foodservers!!!!!! I came in and waited to be seated. Waited for 25 minutes. There were a lot of open tables and the foodservers were just standing behind the counter doing nothing, but they pretended not to see me. Finally a female employee came out and apologized to me, and asked the lazy foodservers where to seat me and they just ignored her. Bunch of bitches!! I finally got my order. Then my waiter disappeared. No coffee refills, no one even bothered if I needed to order more of their crappy food. In the meantime, all the foodservers were loudly chatting behind the counter!!!! This Dennys use to be good until they hired lousy waitresses, I have been here 2 times before and figured I would give the waitress the benefit of the doubt before I gave a review. Well this last time just didn't cut it again, The waitress was nice but just too slow and never bothered asking or bringing refills for our drinks, we literally sat there for 9 minutes until we were approached. I rate this Dennys an F and would not recommend it to anybody unless you are in the mood for lousy service.And Some one did call me after I E-Mailed the Corprate office and left me a message to call back.So when I called back the number i think it was the owner, because I got an answering message that instructed me to leave a message and of course I did, but never got a call back.It sounded like the guy from 7 - 11 . I love Denny's. Unfortunately, This is the closest one to my house. The first time I went there a few years ago they fubar'd my order so bad I got up and left without touching my food. Decided to give it another shot today. When we came in there were 3 things that should have made me run away. 1. There may have been at most 5 people eating in the restaurant. 2. More than 3 tables still had dishes piled up from people who have previously finished their meal and left. 3. Employees were laughing and joking with each other instead of being productive I looked passed these issues and had the host seat me anyway. The host gave me, my wife, and my child regular menus. which would be fine if my child looked anything close to being old enough to order off the menu. So I requested a child's menu. Not a big deal. The waitress gave my wife and I each others drinks and gave my child a drink that was far too large for her and was overflowing. Again, this is a child. We ordered an appetizer that took 15 minutes to receive and was not given extra plates. No big deal. We all dug into the appetizer and almost a whole TWO MINUTES later our food arrives. WTF. I tell the waitress "we just got our appetizer" in which she replied "I know". Of course she knows because she brought it to us. I was merely pointing out that we should be given time to eat the appetizer before our food arrives. She has obviously received very little training in the HOW TO of food service. And this brings us to the food. My burger had ZERO flavor and the fries terribly cooked at an incorrect temp. My wife's omelette was overcooked while her hash-browns under-cooked. My child hated her chicken (usually happens when you deep fry frozen chicken) and I did not make her eat it. BOTTOM LINE Learn your job. Just because you work at a low cost restaurant does not mean you don't need to do your job well or, at least, mediocre. I will never go to this place ever again to eat. I did my online ordering for the first time and when I called the lady name Nicole said that my order was never place... after 30 minutes I got a confirmation by email that my order was received by this Dennys location ... it's already been pre-paid so they should have called me again saying that they did receive my order they need to be more organized under online ordering.. read more

This particular Denny's never fails me. I went with my roommate to catch a midnight dinner and as always service was great and for the price the food was also great. Our server Mariah was fantastic as always she was prompt and very personable. We both had waters which I understand can be an early signal for a small check total which usually translates to a small tip but we had no problem leaving a 50 % tip. We both had a bacon jalapeño burger that was really good unfortunately we were both sad to hear that it was the last day that they were actually offering that burger seeing that it was part of a bacon promotion they had going on. One thing I love about coming to Denny's so late is that the food is always fresh! I've been to Denny's in the mornings during peak hours and there's nothing worse than receiving Luke warm food especially when your are really looking forward to your breakfast! All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be returning sooner than later read more

Service.....Blanca refused to do the right thing and adjust our bill for what we ordered.....she input everything as side items, and it ended up costing an additional six dollars, above the menu price. I would give zero stars if i could. So my party last night was served by Waitress Mariah . Not only was she very rude that when the party asked for basic like napkins, did she respond that oh she thinks she could do that, your working at a Food Establishment,One could hope you could do that. Now where our party went to pay the card was denied, now it is one of those cards some jobs give you that they put your paycheck on. Saddly either not all funds where put on the card or the card just needed to be called. But when it was denied, Mariah thought that snatching someones drink out of their mouth while they where sucking on the straw was the best answer. When our party explained they would have us remain behind so one could go and grab the money to prove we where going to pay, She rudely continued to just say she was going to call the police over and over again. So when my brother arrived with cash to pay for the meal, we where greeted with oh...I should still call the cops because of your attitude, OUR ATTITUDE? Who do you think you are to say something like that? Really how would you feel if someone spoke to you that way? I dont know how long you have been working for Customer service but you indefinably need something to change. Overall we have never had bad Experiences, we come here often which is why it was so shocking she treated us this way for she knew us as regular customers. Everything has drastically changed since this Denny's has become corporate-owned. My family and I come here for breakfast every weekend since it's just down the street from my house, but it seems to get worse with each visit. The wait time is a nightmare. We're told 20-25 minutes for a table for 4 people, but the wait is actually 45 minutes or longer and then once seated, expect to wait another 20 minutes to place your order. The seats are dirty...seems no one takes the time to wipe them down anymore. Be prepared to wait another 10-15 minutes to get your utensils once your food arrives. This is no exaggeration....customer service is down the drain. You can tell a few of their veteran waiters are trying their best, but something is amiss!!!! My husband And I came here for breakfast. The remodel is very nice and clean. We were told ten minutes to be seated for a booth. I figured it would be longer but after 40 minutes and then they skipped us for another group for a booth I was fit to be tied! I said something to her and all she said was ok.
