Ordered takeout. Got two OG's. Order was wrong on both sandwiches and the sandwiches were missing ingredients on top of that. Ordered sweet potato fries got regular. Ordered greens got regular fries. Food was below average so didn't make up for it. Maybe we'll give it another chance but doubtful at $17 a sandwich. Super bummed but looks like a cool place inside. read more

We came for brunch with a group and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. We were seated about 45 minutes after our reservation time, then waited over an hour for our food. Throughout the meal, we had to remind our server multiple times about drinks we had already ordered. What should have been an enjoyable brunch ended up taking nearly 2.5 hours -- not by choice, but because of service delays. We were visiting from out of town and were really looking forward to it, so it was especially disappointing. Sadly, we won't be returning or recommending it. read more

This spot is a cute bar and restaurant with a some great deals and a good location. I've come here 2x with my beautiful lady and both times we've sat in the same spot but it's a nice area, we like the high top chairs they've got and the presentation and atmosphere here are elite. They've got this extensive drink menu with a rustic spine, so many great liquors and beer to choose from. As a starter we split the Mac and cheese and it is truly delicious. The sauce they use is so yummy, it's made with smoked Gouda and you can taste the smokiness. The wings here are excellent and they have Wing Wednesday deal where you get as many wings as you like for just 50¢ a piece. I ordered a Michelob Ultra and 6 of the lemon pepper and 6 of the barbecue wings. I ate all 12 wings until there was not a single strand of edible meat left on the bones. My girlfriend just got the barbecue wings, but gave me her leftovers as you can't get takeout boxes for the deal, you pay to eat them there. She said they fogged up her glasses when they came out due to the heat steaming from them. I paused eating the Mac and cheese until I had gotten most of the way done with my wings and it had cooled off significantly. It was very cool in the restaurant and my girlfriend was cold but I was fine in my T-shirt and shorts. October 2025 is starting out hot but Dodo Bird has you covered with the cool AC. The service here is pretty solid, nothing too crazy but welcoming and attentive enough. That said, it's the food and the lighting and eclectic decoration that celebrates the restaurant's theme that keep us coming back. Dodo Bird is a very lovely little dinner spot that we'll continue to revisit, I'm sure, for many more date nights to come! read more

July 9, 2025, late review. The food was good. We just happen to go on wing Wednesday. (That's what I call it) $0.50 wings. We ordered the Tai Chilli and the dry rub wings. Both were good. Sweet and tangy tai chill and the dry rub had a little bit of heat. Sweet potato waffle fries were very good, you could taste a little bit of the "sweet". We also ordered the onion bloom . Crispy and delicious. We're not drinkers so we just had water with lemon and lime. Service was fast and the food was piping hot! This is a very nice place in a plaza that is being remodeled. Parking gets busy with the bar next door but there is plenty throughout the plaza. We went midday Saturday and it was not too busy. Very attentive and prompt service. The food we had was very good and good portions. Only minor thing is that the fried chicken was lacking seasoning. We tried a few cocktails which we enjoyed. We usually LOVE Dodo bird, but our last experience was not good. There were 4 of us in our party, but no room for us to sit down for dinner. The woman manager was quick to help and scoured the restaurant for 10 minutes until she found a table for us which was very kind. When we got our food I noticed that my burger was completely charred and burnt to a crisp- completely inedible. Our server didn't really seem to care at all but she asked them to remake the burger. A new burger came out, but it was the wrong burger, so that got sent back as well. Then the correct burger came out, but with the wrong side. This obviously took a long time going back and fourth from the kitchen. The cheese was also missing on our friends southwest sizzle burger but didn't want to cause more problems sending back to the kitchen. The manager came to check on us but before I could even open my mouth to tell her about our experience she had already nodded smiled and walked away just assuming everything was fine. It was actually trivia night for Morgan Wallen tickets which was a huge reason to why we came in the first place. It was extremely disheartening to see everyone in the bar cheating in trivia to try to win those tickets. The group next to us was obviously and obnoxiously asking chat gbt every question that popped up loudly to the group. For such a valuable prize, I wish there were more people put on to ensure a fair competition. We felt robbed from having a chance to win and was disappointed in the food and service unfortunately. The best thing I have to say is that whoever the gentleman was running all of the food that night/ bussing tables was FANTASTIC (he had a 1995 face tattoo I believe it was..). He constantly had a genuine smile on his face and really cared to make sure our food came out correct even though he was very busy. This man should definitely be given a front of house opportunity to serve in the future, we would definitely come back just for him and his positive attitude! Our server went out of his way to ask how we liked everything and that they were a fairly new restaurant and were really working hard to survive the 2 year mark. Second time we decided to make a reservation since we knew how busy it could be. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE: arrived right on time, stood behind some people putting in there name for a table whom the hostess told them 5-10 minutes. Then we stepped forward to say we had a reservation, totally stumped the hostess who had no clue she should be expecting reservations. She excused herself walked around the restaurant looking at tables and came back to say there were several tables about finished and it would be 10-20 min. We ordered a drink at the bar and started looking at the tables as well. After 20 min, we noticed there was only one table even close to opening up....and the hostess gave it to the people who had put their name in before our reservation. When we approached her she bold faced lied and said they had a reservation at 5:15 which was 30 min after they had showed up. Never offered to buy our drinks, never got the manager involved. Watch your bill at this place, they will charge you for everything. Any extra ranch, ketchup or sauce is $2.00 each tiny cup.
