ZERO STAR if I could, this is the worst dealership I've been to & experienced. I hate giving businesses 1 star but this one for sure deserves it. The prices here are way higher than other dealerships. Staffs were not professional. We went in to test drive a car on Weds & the person at the front didn't greet us and didn't even want to help us out. Eventually we were able to test drive a car & got quoted a price on it ($26.7k otd for LE) We weren't in a rush to buy the car yet so we left since the price wasn't right. Come Saturday when we were actually going to buy a car (SE), we were at autonation at Hayward about to close our deal for SE then my bf got a call from Alexis telling us about a deal, OTD price of 23.5k for 2018 Camry SE, he even spoke to her manager Mo, just to confirm. I even called Mo & Alexis to confirm that it's 23.5k OTD for that specific car since I was skeptical of this deal. THEY BOTH CONFIRMED IT on the phone. During the phone calls, we did ask if they can send us an email or even texts with the car information & the OTD price they have agreed on. But all they said was they will honor if we do come. This seems hella shady, if they agreed on the phone already then why can't they draft something up to send us for proofs? In total, we spoke to them, individually 4 times to confirm that it's that price for that car without additional fees/taxes. We eventually left autonation, since Dublin did confirm that they will do 23.5k. We called them back to let them know that we were 3/4 way there. But here comes the shady part of how they do their business. Mo answered the phone and said he thought we wanted the Camry LE for otd that price & blamed Alexis that she was new so she didn't know the diff between LE & SE. They basically took their words back & decided to do 23.5k plus fees for Camry SE if we still want it, at that point, we didn't want to give them our business anymore. I am very disappointed with how this dealership does business, misleads their customers, being shady and not sending customers the quotes they agreed on while on the phone. Went here to look into buying a pre owned Highlander and did not have the best of experiences. Bobby one of the salesman, was right on my wife and i right when we walked out of our car. It really frustrated us, because he did not give us time to walk around before talking to us. From there on it was like having someone attached to your hip you dont want there. Trying to push you into buying a car on the spot. I decided to take my business elsewhere cause i needed to get away from him. The only reason for the 2 stars is because of how HUGE their lot is. Best place to buy a car! I've worked in the auto business for a while (therefore haven't had to buy a car in a while, until now) so I was determined to find the best dealership, best price, best experience. I found it at Dublin Toyota after looking all over the bay area, even though I had to drive 35 miles to get there. Hamida, the internet sales manager, was wonderful- responsive and helpful, fast, not pushy, very empathetic to what I was looking for. She knew her stuff about the Sienna and helped me figure out some features I didn't know about. She even pushed the GM to get me another $100 off the car, which I got off an already excellent price. wow. Kamron from financing was also super. I had a pretty good rate that he couldn't beat (often dealers can beat your pre-approved rate--in this case no) So he didn't waste my time and moved through the other products / services / add-on's I might be interested in. Most I wasn't, and he accepted and moved quickly on with no pressure, some I asked questions about and he had good helpful answers. I was in and out in 2 hoursl with my car, and it would have been faster if I hadn't been so talkative. If there were anything at all to improve, it would be getting through on the phone for a question or 2 after the sale-- but after a couple of tries they got back to me and were very helpful. Shady salesmen. I went in to purchase a preowned car with preapproval from BoA. I was offered Toyota financing at a higher apr. The salesman and manager Kevin Ta both said they couldn't get me my financing with BoA(an approved partner) due to their finance person not being onsite(after hours). They aggressively pushed for me to sign the Toyota financing and within 5 days I can get my lower APR elsewhere. Kevin Ta said he knew California laws as he's been in the business for 15 years(wow) and failed to tell me the truth. Turns out the finance guy was there and easily gave me my approved BoA rate. These are shady salesmen lying to their customers cornering them into financing with Toyota to make their numbers. Just be aware that the finance person is always there and will always be able to get approved apr from partnering banks at anytime bc it's all electronic. read more

We called and made an appointment to see this 2009 4 runner we were told no one was test driving and there were no offers. 10 mins before we arrived we called back to make sure and we're told same story. We pulled and were at car when sales man came out and said the car was just test driven and there was an offer. We sat down to do paperwork and make an offer and we're told the car is sold . Took my tundra in for a oil change and the mechanic found issues with my water pump leaking, cracked serpentine belt, squeaking front and rear brakes, and a leaky oil pan. They told me it was going to cost $3k to do everything so I said I had a coupon from Livermore Toyota for 20% off repairs and $50 off per axle for brakes and it also was a $100 cheaper per axle at Livermore. We told them the price we would buy it at and we negotiated a bit, joking around and came to a price that we all agreed on. We left feeling like we got a good deal, they made some money and everybody was happy. I've had a lot of car buying experiences and never has it been so hassle free and casual. Finally, when we left with the car I complained that there were no floor mats and they hooked me up with a full set even though it was a used car. We also needed to follow up with having the car keyed and retrieving some things from our trade in and we were assisted by Walid who was super helpful and a really nice guy. Went in to understand the different trims of RAV4/Venza they had and the salesperson was least interested to explain the differences or the different packages they had. The manager was also extremely rude and not willing to discuss anything other than sell off one of the sample cars they had. The manager really needs training to talk to customers. When he understood they didn't have the trim we like, he literally forced the salesperson to not attend us which was humiliating for the sales staff and us. This review is for the servicing department I have serviced my 2012 Prius here many times and each time has been a better experience than the last. Wish I could take my car here more often because apparently thats the only time it gets washed -yikes! Its conveniently close. I usually make an appointment (they almost always accomodate same day requests) however I did just drop off my car without an appointment once and did not receive any issues :) I love my Prius, its been good to me and I should be good to it! Thats why I always bring it here for services. They keep an electronic record of services and send an email with link for you to see in detail the reccomendations and services done to your car. The team works well together and everything from drop off to pick up and shuttle service is excellent. Shuttle service is scheduled every half hour but they have made exceptions for me because I'm awesome (jk, more like because THEY'RE awesome). There is always hot coffee with various flavored creamers and teas in the waiting area. Sadly my warranty is coming to an end and my next servicing will not be free bummer.. but that won't stop me from getting my car services here. Love the service! I just bought my blizzard white 2013 prius here and had the quickest and least stressful buying experience ever! It took me 1 hour to go through the deal, paperwork, and financing. I've only bought 6 cars before, but I've never done it in less than 3 hours. On top of that, the staff was extremely helpful and made sure that I had all my questions answered etc. It helped that I already knew exactly what I wanted, but I greatly appreciated the fact that I wasn't hard up sold on everything from leather to extended warranty. I've been in sales my whole career so it is easy for me to recognize commission - based tactics. These guys offered options to me but didn't push it when I declined them. I was recommended here by my friend who bought a prius and I already have another friend who I'm going to bring in to get his first prius. Scuzzy, scuzzy, scuzzy. My family went there at the beginning of our car-buying journey. I had been reading about cars online, but wanted to see some in-person. I was especially interested in the Highlander and the Sienna. In a trifecta of customer-service failings, the salesman who "helped" us managed to be unhelpful, dishonest, and rude, all within the span of 15 minutes. He could unlock cars just by reaching in his pocket, so he didn't have to go back to the showroom to grab keys. Even so, he apparently considered it too much work to open the doors so I could see the features in the different Sienna trim levels. I just had to look through the windows while he explained that they were all basically the same. (Really? Is that actually what the Toyota marketing people want you to say?) I also wanted to see a Highlander, and I asked if he was expecting much difference between the current and next model years. (From reading, I knew there would be significant changes, but wanted to get his take on the situation.) He said that nothing would be different -- "maybe just new headlights or something" -- and suggested that I should just buy one that day. I told him that I wanted to wait until I could see the new Highlander, so there was no way that I would buy a car that day. He seemed pretty miffed, and he said there was no use sitting in a current Highlander because the next model year would be "completely different." (So, which is it -- "just new headlights" or "completely different"? Or "whatever it takes to make a sale today"?) I insisted, and he grudgingly agreed to open up a Highlander for us to sit in. He failed to mention that it was soaking wet inside, so I ended up sitting down on a seat that felt like a wet sponge. There was literally standing water inside some of the compartments. Meanwhile, he muttered something about going inside and ghosted us. We eventually ended up wandering off the lot, with no further help. (To this day, I'm curious about whether they salvaged that car or sold it as "new" and feigned ignorance when the new owner complained about a moldy smell.) In part due to our bad experiences at the two local Toyota dealerships, we ended up buying a Pacifica from Stevens Creek CDJR. It was a great purchase experience, and I am loving the car. read more

We got a FANTASTIC deal on a used F-150 - recent trade-in. Russ found the truck for us on his used list - it wasn't on the sales lot yet because it was waiting to be cleaned and prepped for sale. We did the deal and they got it ready for us in 3 days. New tires, brakes, complete detail. Kicker: power-train warranty for life! On our way out the door Russ flagged us down... "Wait... You know how car salesmen have this reputation for using every trick in the book to try to make you buy a car? At Dublin Toyota, I'm pretty sure the salesman just didn't want me to buy a car. I showed up to pick up a new corolla--which I was planning to pay for in cash, by the way--and ended up storming out. I went through my bank's car buying service to buy a car this September because I didn't want the hassle of negotiating. And I have the best bank ever (USAA) which got me a good deal. I made an appointment to pick up my corolla at Dublin at 12 noon. I waited an hour. When the salesman finally met me at 1pm, I told him, "My appointment was at noon." He kind of shrugged and mumbled a half-apology. "That was an hour ago," I said. He was still unapologetic. I told him I hoped that for every minute I waited, he was planning on raising the trade-in value. He didn't laugh. I decided I didn't want the model corolla I had planned to pick up. That was my own fault--I didn't do the right research and didn't realize this model didn't have power locks and windows. The salesman suggested I pay for dealer-installed locks. I said I didn't want dealer-installed locks because they are less reliable and lower the resale. He asked where I had gotten that from. Taken aback, I answered, "other dealers and friends who know about cars." "You talk to too many people," he said. So I tried to negotiate buying the model up. (I still had my checkbook, I could still pay cash). I got a friend on the phone who crunched the numbers for a model up. The salesman first told me that it was impossible to get a standard in the S (I drive stick), and then gave me an estimate that was about $2,000 more than reasonable. I told him maybe I would get a civic instead. His answer, "Yeah, maybe you should." I stormed out. Two weeks later, I bought a corolla S (stick shift) from Hayward Toyota. I'm giving this dealership two stars instead of one just for the novelty of a car dealer who doesn't actually try to sell you a car. read more

The worst customer service ever. The quality of staff has decreased significantly in the past years. They sold us a car with problems, and now they are taking no responsibility for it, even though we paid extra warranty. Avoid the salesman Mimo Fakhry. He just treated us like garbage over the phone, lying about his management not being available for me to talk to, not andwering any of my questions, not listening, interrupting what I say to the point I had to ask why he was treating me that way. After writing this review here, I will have to go to Toyota corporate to report the abusive treatment with customers. Update: I went back 2 days later in person to try to get the car fixed, and I immediately suffered retaliation from Lance Ansted the General Sales Manager for writing this Yelp review. He went really low, yelled at me, confronted me, insulted me, and demanded me to remove the Yelp review, otherwise he would not fix my car. In other words, he wanted to hold me hostage to it. I have a video of his abusive treatment. After I recorded the video, he demanded me to delete the video, antagonizing me for a fight. I could not believe it. After Larissa begged him to calm down, he then decided to look at the car. He saw it would probably be an easy fix. He called the Services department, and they fixed my car in 10 mins. I am grateful that Larissa was able to de-escalate the situation. I expected Lance to treat his customers better and set the example. It explains why the salespeople at this branch treat customers so badly. Lance Ansted has major anger management issues. After that, they are bribing me offering a Toyota keychain and a full tank of gas in exchange of me removing this Yelp review, which I am not going to do. Black Lives Matter. read more

We drove into Dublin Toyota around 4:30 on the Saturday of Presidents Day weekend. We parked in a customer parking space and noticed a group of sales people standing together under canopy. As we walked toward the new cart lot, a salesman broke from the group and approached us. He introduced himself and asked how he could help us. I have his name but am choosing not to disclose it here. He knows who he is. I told him that my 2000 Dodge Caravan (173,000 miles) was dying and I needed to find its replacement. I was just beginning my research and planned on looking at the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey and even the Mazda5. As we started walking, I explained that I wanted a minivan that would comfortably seat four and was easy for my parents to get in and out of. He said that he understood and proceeded to point out various used vehicles. When I asked why he was showing us used instead of new, he replied that I had mentioned all the various brands and models, he thought I was looking for used. (STRIKE ONE) I explained in clearer detail that I wanted new and would be shopping several dealerships. He said okay but since we were here, I may as well look at the used as well. (STRIKE TWO) I stated that we were not interested in used. We wanted to see the new Siennas. We didn't want top or bottom rung but mid-priced model. He asked what features we wanted. I told him that we weren't sure as we were beginning our research. He showed us a couple of new Siennas that were next to each other. When I remarked that the middle row climate controls were in different positions between the two models, he proceeded to tell me I was wrong. I checked again and showed him the difference (STRIKE THREE) At that point, I told him that I would have to do more research on my own before continuing. He, in turn, assured me that when we knew what we wanted, we should look him up as he would get us the best possible discount. Sales Rule #1 - know your product Sales Rule #2 - treat each customer as a customer Sales Rule #3 - make sure you understand what the customer wants Sales Rule #4 - the customer is always right, even when he's wrong Sales Rule #5 - a good Sales Manager ensures that his/her sales staff is well educated not only in product knowledge but also providing excellent customer service. Review for SERVICE DEPT. I have several Toyota vehicles that I have brought here. I've also been to many Toyota dealerships across the state. This service department ranks near the bottom for attitude and high pressure sales. My first negative experience at DUBLIN TOYOTA was over a year ago with a service manager named JOSEPH. I left a review which has somehow vanished from Yelp. More recently I had the opportunity of dealing with "big E". On a typical weekday you can drop off your car and get checked in a resonable amount of time. They do offer a free shuttle to the surrounding towns and free coffee/donuts in the waiting area. Your car will be washed before it's returned to you. The pleasantries end there. When the service advisors call you back there is usually an attempt to sell an add-on service. Sometimes there are several levels and the prices are always high. You can always negotiate them down if you turn down their 1st offer. it's really just too much work to try to get a fair price here. I understand they are trying to run a business, but the tone and attitude of the advisors is bulls**t. The upsell strategy will include using keywords phrases like "your engine could fail if you don't...", or "...is critical...". They have a smartass reply for everything. I took my car elsewhere and got the problem handled for half the price. It was my mistake to give this place so many chances. Had it not been for extended service plans that I had purchased and living closer DUBLIN TOYOTA than the other local Toyota dealerships they would not have had the oppotunity to get another dime out of me. read more

Called to get a quote to service our Lexus. Sounded like their call was outsourced to a foreign country. After being put on hold for a few minutes the person said that this dealership doesn't have parts for Lexus. Mind you the quote was for a spark plug service that is common on many Toyotas.
