If you want to pay $30 for a bagel that you have to assemble yourself, or $28 for a couple pieces of avocado toast with no seasoning in a cramped dining area on short metal stools , this is the spot. We thought we'd try a new spot on Sunday morning and waited 20 mins for a table. The servers were kind and hustling, but very rushed in all their actions. The inside of the cafe was packed and stuffy. The food was mediocre and insanely expensive. You can get much better breakfasts all over the city with better flavors, presentations and prices. Our bill for three people for 3 basic breakfast plates and 3 coffees was $130!! And one of us had the salmon bagel which she had to build herself-not even cream cheese on the bagel-she put the whole thing together. We've eaten brunch all over the city and this was by far the most expensive with the least enjoyable food. We left very dissatisfied unfortunately. read more

Make sure you do not just scroll through their menu, though, as in that case you might miss what this place truly specializes on: crepes! We started with the '6AM Crepe', a vanilla crepe filled with Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese and scrambled eggs in such suficient balance it was shiny from its skillet sear. There was also the '12Pm Crepe,' which comes in mushrooms, spinach and crispy fried chicken. At the midpoint of my plate I tiptoed to request a side of syrup. This was already amazing, I didn't want to offend our server but having the syrup on top sounded so good! We made the right decision, and boy am I glad. The syrup took this already incredible breakfast to the next level! Pro tip: syrup is not automatically included, so be sure to ask for it. Seating wise we got lucky and got an open window spot with the street views, so it gave a great brunch ambiance. I had the bagel two ways (number 3&5), which was perfect as someone who needs something sweet and savory. a little pricey for what it is, but had such a good experience that it made it worth it. the servers are lovely people who always have a smile on their face and accommodate to your needs without you even having to ask. Tasty food option in San Francisco near the wharf. It's a bit hidden away on the street as we didn't immediately see the location when dropped off my Uber. Ordered the avocado toast trio (there were 3 of us) as we each had interest in trying it but you can't just order one piece of toast. We then ordered crepes as our main since these comes recommended. I usually stick to protein based breakfasts but since I knew I was getting my protein with the egg and bacon on avocado toast, I went for a sweet crepe (the Eight AM, in fact) instead of a savory one. After polishing off half of my breakfast I sheepishly requested syrup for the other half. (It was already SO good I didn't want to offend our server by appearing to question its quality, but adding a little syrup just sounded SO right!) As good as it was before, it was launched to an entirely new echelon of greatness with the addition of a light shower of syrup. This was a last minute pivot as we were going to go to nearby Board and Drink, but didn't realize it would be closed on Tuesday. But we were not disappointed! We got seated right away at a sunny outside table. The waitress was helpful and answered our questions. Food came out quickly and was plentiful and delicious. I walked the place the other day and noticed lots of people and its stellar breakfast/brunch menu. I ordered the Soy Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding bowl for a healthy lunch. I would say that the fruit selection was good and the almonds used are of higher quality. The chia seed pudding itself was a little bland, needing something a little extra for flavor (possibly cinnamon or a little nutmeg). It was just a bit lacking and I was just yearning for something more... this is not to say it wasn't good, it was, but it just needs a little something to make it stellar. Service is very friendly and the restaurant itself is no frills, though on a nice day you have the option to sit out front of the restaurant.
