There was no apology, no explanation, and no invitation to come back another day. The interaction felt more like, "Why are you here?" than, "We're sorry, but we're unable to accommodate you tonight." A manager then came over and identified herself as the manager. Unfortunately, she was even ruder than the hostess and appeared completely uninterested in resolving the situation or showing any concern for the customer experience. At no point did anyone attempt to handle the interaction professionally or make us feel valued as customers. In a city with countless dining options, service matters. It's not always what you say, but how you say it. A little courtesy and professionalism would have gone a long way.
