There's something about some breading that upsets my stomach so it's always a risk, and I was pleasantly surprised that whatever breading Fatburger uses doesn't upset mine! This is an awesome destination for a hardy burger with all the trimmings. Their portions go from L-XXXL. The prices are decent but I don't like the fact that they charge for certain toppings like the obvious cheese. I also don't like the fact that they weigh the fries on a scale before frying them. I truly don't see what the hype over this place is. I went with my LA friend after a recommendation from another Marylander. I ordered a medium fatburger with bacon and mushrooms. We shared fries and I had a Dr Pepper. The place itself was not what I would call clean. (Especially the restroom) I just prayed extra hard over my food. The fries were nice and hot. I had to ask for ketchup packs (which i prefer) because the ketchup container was empty.The sandwich was just ok. I couldn't figure out if I was tasting the grill itself or the place. Staff: Depends on who you get in this location some guys ignore you even when it's not busy. One of the girls working there is very attentive when a customer comes in and when it is not busy she sweeps/cleans the tables. What a great hamburger spot! I have always seen a FatBurger and wondered how good this place can be. Well it's great! Way better than a lot of burger spots. It's way better than Astro Burger which is located across the street. Their beef in the burgers is top notch. Tasted just like a fresh burger from your backyard grill. I went in and tried the 8oz large fat burger with skinny fries. They also have chili and eggs if you want to add on top of your burger! I will be back at this place soon! I've been hearing about the Impossible Burger for months and was curious to try... so I stopped by Fatburger for the first time in 15 years. Well, the burger is really great and incredibly tasty. Made me wonder why more fast food restaurants don't make veggie options or use the impossible burger... they really should! The service here was good and everyone was super friendly BUT this entire place smells like a bathroom. I mean, you cannot get away from the smell of old, dirty, disinfectant and urinal smells mixed together. Sorry, I know that's gross but it really made it impossible to eat here. Ordered takeout since I had the Fatburger craving during Covid. Fatburger always hits the spot. Not this one. The burger was overcooked and dry. Because of the works fixings, it was bearable but I also ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and wow that was disgusting. It was totally dry and rubbery. It tasted as though it was frozen and old or sitting around from an old order and refried. I even prepaid a tip bc of Covid (extra star is for that too.) First of all, let me start by saying that we've had many meals here at this same location and there have been no complaints in the past. However, today (5/30/20) was a new day, we were tight on time, and starving after a hard workout and ordered it on yelp via Grub Hub for takeaway. We ordered 1 XXXL burger and 1 XXL burger for $23.40. There's a pandemic going on, so my boyfriend went in and picked up our order since I didn't have my mask. We didn't double check that the order was correct when we picked it up, just that we had the right order. Anyway, we get home, which is a few minutes away, unwrap the burgers to find 2 XXL burgers and they're pretty damn burnt. Again, we're starving and tight on time, so we take a couple of pix and proceed to call Grub Hub while eating the burgers. We explain it all to Grub Hub and they proceed by calling up Fatburger management at that SM & Gardner location. They come back and say that Fatburger says to bring back the burgers and they'll redo them. I told them that's not possible, since we ate them but we took pictures and noticed on the order ticket that they had 2 XXL burgers on there, even my actual order and what we paid for was the XXXL & 1 XXL. Also, I told them that even IF we had the burgers, we wouldn't have time to go there since we were expected elsewhere. Grub Hub rep came back and said that Fatburger said they'll refund the difference between the 2 burgers ($2.19) and we'll get 20% off the next order (on Grub Hub, which we rarely ever use). Honestly, I'm not happy about that way this was resolved, but we were too short on time to REALLY deal with it. If anything, I would've accepted the difference off and a discount on that meal of 20%. I'll attach pictures of everything as well, but I only got a snap of one of the burgers my boyfriend inhaled as soon as we got home. I just think the meat is so juicy, love all the condiment options (prefer pickles, mustard, ketchup, sometimes chili, husband loves egg! I can't say much more than my mouth waters thinking about it. Never disappoints and the thing is the meat has a wonderfully peppery seasoning. So let down by places that don't season their meat like THE COUNTER. Kudos go to Andreas who works at Fatburger in West Hollywood. Last week I ordered A large hamburger, a regular size cheeseburger, fat fries and skinny fries through Uber eats. While ordering, my order got cut off and Somehow the fat fries came through, however when viewing my order the rest of the order was not there. So I tried to re-order the remaining items and wasn't sure what was happening with the order. I had previously ordered from this location using Uber eats and didn't have a problem so something was going "Wonky " with the Uber eats website. My order said "your order is on the way, being delivered by Donna on a Bicycle" I called Fatburger in West Hollywood and spoke with Andreas Who contacted Uber eats and tried to get it straightened out. Half an hour later a cheeseburger With skinny fries was delivered but not the rest. I called Andreas and he said that Donna was on her way on her bicycle (about 2 miles away) after another hour (and you can imagine how cold the first part of the order was already) I called speaking with Andreas again and he said that Donna Had left on her bicycle and hour ago and he had no way of contacting her. I contacted Uber Eats and spoke with someone with such a heavy accent - she had three lines to say which were unintelligible. I called Andreas back and he said he would try to have the rest of the order re-delivered (Bless his heart) but by then the mood had passed in the first half of the order was beyond redemption. I tossed it out and called my credit card do you have the charges disputed. So good job Andreas for trying to fix the mess-my husband and I decided next time we will place the order for pick up rather than going through Uber eats. Just experienced the most horrible service here on 5/2/20 around 6:17pm. As a vegetarian for over 20 years, I take my diet very seriously. I ordered an Impossible burger with cheese and they gave me an actual meat burger. When I went back to ask for a replacement, they fought me on it and assured me it was definitely an Impossible burger. I have eaten Impossible burgers before and can assure you that it was not. The cook who completed this order it said "I made this, it is not a meat burger." He pried open the burger, glanced at it, wrapped it back up and handed it back to me in a new bag as if that was going to make things better. Because I don't feel comfortable eating something that is clearly meat and just going off of a worker's assurance, I asked if I could have a refund and he raises his voice at me saying "NO" and storms off, not listening to anything I was saying. I wish I knew his name because it was truly some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The worker at the front, I believe her name is Veronica or Vanessa was no help whatsoever. She refused my refund even though I tried to give the burger back because I did not feel comfortable eating it. She just stared at me and didn't even offer an apology. Then she ignored me and started helping the next person while I just stood there trying to resolve the issue. They should have at least offered to replace the burger, for the customers comfort and also after totally busting it open and putting their hands all over it, which is honestly totally disgusting. Why does my turkey burger taste like the holidays? Listen, I love this time of year as much as anyone, but when I am craving a big, fat juicy burg burg, hints of nutmeg and cinnamon just don't cut it. Three quarters of the way into this turkey burger (after each bite I would inspect and sniff the thing down), I realized the sweet pickles that are thrown in the mix were the culprits. DON'T EAT THE PICKLES! I am a pickle girl, but these sweet things ruined my entire burger experience. I was also sad because the food doesn't travel well, so never take it to go unless you plan on ravishing it in the car immediately after ordering. The fries were cold and bland and I was disappointed that the ranch that was given to me was packets of Hidden Valley as opposed to some mind blowing homemade concoction. I've never been disappointed at this location, or any of their locations except maybe that one time in Vegas. The burgers are made to order and so are the fries. The wait is for freshly made food, so the wait just adds to the excitement of having my meal here. I get super stoked when I hear my name to pick up my meal. Don't forget to ask for seasoned salt on your fries, it's not standard. I personally go for the cheddar cheese and bacon. They also have eggs over easy if you'd like. It drizzles over the patty ever so sensual. Food can be intimate too, you know. Anyhow this store is ran by Ricky, an excellent fellow that remembers your name and your usual meal. I love me some FATburger. I guess the healthiest option (in my opinion) is the Turkeyburger....! You get that protein but not all the fat. I always get a Turkey Deal! Some places allow you to add more than one Turkey patty (for an additional charge) and this is one of the locations that does that. So get me a double patty Turkey deal (only lettuce/tomatoes/onions) and Fat Fries. (yea..I know the fries aren't healthy! HA!) The employees here are always friendly and cool. They have a new soda machine (which seems to be popping up everywhere) that is all touch screen. You pick which main soda or water you want and then you can get different flavors of that soda.... for example...if you pick coke..then you get a screen w/ lemon lime coke , rasberry coke , cherry coke etc..... pretty cool!
