Bought the car from this dealership years ago and ever since that serviced the car at the same dealership. Service had always been pretty decent till my most recent visit. Called in as usual to make an appointment and scheduled loaner , it was not the same group people had been helped out at the front desk as before , old lady named Sharon ? Not sure her name to be exact but she is elder and has short boycut hair , she was rude on the phone and very impatient. Compared to many visits throughout the past few years , this is the most dissatisfied one. This review is difficult I have always praised Fields for great customer service, trustworthy and honest. After I recently purchased my 6th jeep that all went downhill. I was rudely treated by a service manager Colleen and when I asked the sales manager David got the we were swamped, sorry. We all lead busy lives and all of us depend our our cars for reliable transportations. The purchase of a car is a major purchase finding a dealership you trust is important and then trusting that they service your car with respect and honestly. Over the years Fields has been the best I have ever had to deal with but recently they have cut corners and been unreliable. I contacted another Jeep dealership and they were welcoming and asked me to come in to tour there facility. I brought in my 2016 Town and Country to Fields knowing it had a bad transmission. It cost me $500.00 dollars and 3 days for the service department to get back to me (I called them) because they were "very busy". My millage was just over the warranty period so there was nothing they were willing to do. Except to quote me 5K to rebuild the transmission. Every other transmission repair shop was $1,800/$2,200. Please do not fall for any of the BS that Fields service tells you. Chrysler transmissions are notoriously bad. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy a Chrysler. If you insist on buying one look elsewhere besides Fields. read more

I grew up just a few minutes from here and when I went back this past weekend for the Memorial Day Weekend Holiday my buddy who recently bought a jeep from them decided to take advantage of their free car washes. I am giving this dealership 2* only because they give free car washes and Homer's Ice Cream. My friends car was filthy dirty and was in desperate need of a wash. The wash only took a couple of minutes. Me and a couple other friends piled back into his car. As we were pulling out one of the employees said "It's going to rain you dumbass". I am not sure if he thought our windows were up or if he had some sort of mental illness. You would think that the employees at a car dealership would have some sense of customer service. This one let the whole team down and I am quite sure that if I ever buy a Chrysler or Jeep it will not be from here. *On a side note it didn't rain at all and my friend has an indoor garage spot. read more

Seriously, I think they took the "Fiscal Butt Raping" salescourse prior to their hiring. By the grace of God, this salesPERSON, who Yelp will not allow me to call out by name, was the first guy, or possibly gal, to approach me on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The beauty of this day abruptly ended when I met this unprofessional salesPERSON and the Sales Manager, who Yelp will not allow me to elaborate on his or her names. Both of them must believe that every potential customer has an IQ level of a lab rat, and will believe any lie that they are told. After finding a vehicle that I liked, and thoroughly researching invoice prices, interest rates, etc., we sat down to talk "numbers." MY experience: salesPERSON, who Yelp will not allow to call out by name: After talking with my Sales Mgr., we can sell this vehicle for $25890. ME: In addition, I noticed there is a $1250 rebate on your website. salesPERSON, who Yelp will not allow to call out by name: Uh, yes, this is correct, so the discounted price would be $25890 (-) $1250. Would you like to buy this vehicle today? ME: No, I am going to buy within a week, but not today. In salesPERSON, who Yelp will not allow to call out by name, defense, said "PERSON" did call on the following Monday to check up. I appreciated this, and asked how much more we could discount the vehicle. Said "PERSON" offered to throw in a few other incentives, and I said I'd consider. A few days later, I called and wanted to get a final price in writing. Here's where the fun begins! I come in, and the price is inflated by nearly $2000 above what was originally quoted. When I questioned this salesPERSON, he, or possibly she, started getting loud, beligerent and almost confrontational. This young post teen adolescent, with sophomoric negotiating skills, in my opinion, will never have a successful sales career. Or, any career for that matter. In MY opinion, both of them are complete shams. I'd avoid, but this is just my take on the place. You be the judge... read more

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition with 32,000 miles and only 4 months out of warranty. The air suspension compressor completely shorted out. $2,700 cost to replace it. The service department successfully lobbied for a one-time service credit from Jeep corporate and was able to apply it to the cost of the repair, reducing the total repair bill to $284 out the door; saving me over $2,400. So, it was time to trade in my 2010 Mustang for something more practical (especially after this past winter). I did a bunch of research, and after narrowing my choices down to half a dozen different cars, I started visiting dealerships. I visited this dealership twice. The first time was apparently their first or second day at their new location, so things were incredibly hectic. I was directed towards the Jeeps, and told someone would be with me soon. I stood around, looking at jeeps for about 30 minutes, waiting to talk to someone. Nothing happened, so I left. I came back later in the week to give them one more shot, this time making an appointment. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was told that the salesman who I'd made my appointment with had to gas up a car, and would be back in 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, I'm about to leave, when the salesman arrives and tells me he no one told him I was there, and that he was with another customer. He tossed me some keys to test drive the car, and them answered my questions when I returned. I understand that opening a new facility comes with hurdles, but that ultimately left a bad taste in my mouth. The car I was looking at wasn't what i wanted, but if it were the right car, I would have been inclined to shop somewhere else. read more

This place shotgunned my credit. Basically, this means they sent my credit out to 7 banks at once to see if I could get approved by any. When I went to a different car dealership, they showed me my credit report, and it actually made my score go down by 30 points, making it even harder for me to get a car. A true Jeep enthusiast and very knowledgeable salesman, he took me through every feature the Jeep has to offer and helped reinforce my decision. A very patient/ friendly staff overall with absolutely no hiccups or bad sales tactics. The aesthetics within the dealership are second to none. Offering everything you could possibly desire while you wait. Moving to finance/warranty, I worked with Gary who was very efficient/friendly, who worked to get the right package for me. Nothing felt rushed which in turn made for a good experience at the hardest point... the money! So when you walk into a dealership you expect to get surrounded by vultures aka used car salesmen who spit anything at you to get you to buy. Well not at this place. The sales people do not swarm you which is a nice breath of fresh air. My husband and I were looking for a Ram Pro Master for our business and were helped by Jay. Jay is very professional and patient. The entire experience was laid back and we never felt pressured at all. We took well over a few months to finally come to our decision and Jay did not stalk us or anything like most of these car salesmen do. If my husband had a random question he would text Jay and Jay would respond in a timely manner. No haggle, no pressure, just information we requested - That's exactly why we chose to come back here instead of purchasing anywhere else. The day of purchase, we did hit a small bump with the radio locking down right as my husband was about to pull away with our van. The radio needed a code and they were unable to reach Chrysler Corporate because it was after hours. Jay and Tom stayed WAY past their shift on a Friday night, when the dealership was closed, willing to stay all night until they figured it out. My husband pretty much had to force them to go home! Jay and Tom kept apologizing for the inconvenience and you can tell they were very genuine and that this kind of thing does not happen often. Shawn Friedman was extremely helpful. When we first went in we had a verbal quote for another dealership. Fields told us that they could not give us the car at that price and they couldn't understand how the other dealership could sell the car at that price either. When we told them what dealership it was, the cautioned us that if we go to that dealership, they will start adding things. But a cheaper price was worth going to the other dealer. Fields warned us in a polite way & gave us a written list of the only extras that we should see on the final bill. But sure enough, the other dealership started adding things to their price, jacking up the original quote. So after we went to a couple of other dealerships & were given something in writing as to the price those dealerships were offering the Laredo for, including all the taxes, etc. Fields was able to just about match the offer. I trust Fields more than other dealerships so I was happy that we were able to buy from Fields. I would highly recommend them. Shawn was very professional. He has a good re pore with his customers which was evident by the amount of people who walked past us while we were signing the papers that stopped & said hello. Shawn was polite & courteous to everyone. He was personable & did his best to explain everything for us. When we went to pick up the car, we even ended up with a slightly better car than the car we made a deal on. I would highly recommend Shawn. I would rather pay a bit more to go to a dealership I can trust than a lot less & not know what you will get. Shawn was knowledgeable & honest. Fields Jeep service department is amazing. Under the advice of a ladyfriend who bought her car from Fields, she highly recommended I visit Fields after I mentioned the spartan accommodations when waiting for service at a local dealership. She said I wouldn't be disappointed. Fields has a bunch of big comfy leather sofas in the showroom, a minibar with coffee, ice cream, and popcorn, and while I have no kids (to my knowledge) a play room for the little people to keep them occupied. There's also free wi-fi which is a plus so I can keep working while my car gets pampered in the service department. The place is gigantic, so just drive around to the south end of the building close to Patriot Blvd. The doors will automatically open and a nice tech will take notes about your car. You can then get a coffee and chill in the lounge or look at the car gallery if you don't go. The service was prompt, polite, and efficient. Not impressed with my recent Jeep service at Field's. Nice facility and nice people, but one of reasons listed for bringing in for service was issues with connecting iPhone to the stereo. When they called to tell me about all that was needed, this issue was not mentioned. When I inquired, my service guy was like, "Oh yeah. Let me check that out." No further discussions other than a text that Jeep was done and ready to be picked up. When I picked up, woman at service counter didn't walk me through any of the details on invoice. Just "That'll be $793." I was a little put off, but assumed all that was to have been done was. When I tried connecting the phone later, it did not work. When I reviewed the paperwork, it says "Can't connect newer iPhone, may be client cord, should use Bluetooth instead." All fine I suppose, but it would have been nice to have someone let me know there was nothing they could do to fix the issue. Also there is no Bluetooth on my 2011 Jeep or I would have been using it already. So not sure I'm rushing back to Field's for that extra lack of attention to detail. I can get that from the guy right up the street and he's cheaper. read more

Made an appointment for 12p, waited til 130p to be told the mechanics are starting to work on a quote, for an oil change, license bracket installation and an interior fix. In the meantime saw two customers have a tantrum over a bill. When I told the people a 90-minute wait (for a quote) was unacceptable, I was asked whether I "had ever been to a dealership before"? And whether I was aware that "their computer system was down?" at which point I asked for my keys and left. Utterly insulting experience. read more

They stated they would pay warranty covered rental car and three weeks later avoid providing proof they paid -despite the fact I was charged for the warranty rental. The rental car employee told me when they promised to get to car right away they were lying. The dealership stated as an excuse word for word what the rental car employee said they would as to why they where late. read more

I had a bad experience today with a salesman. Last time I had my oil change they forgot to put back the oil cap. so I went today to get it. while I was waiting I decided to check the new Wrangler Rubicon. I have been thinking to change my current Wrangler. I would like to know how much I can get for my jeep and how much I can put as a down payment. so. I was walking around the dealer showroom a car salesman asks me if I need any help. I say no thanks but right after that, I say. let me ask you a quick question. how long would it take to get an appraisal on my current jeep? The salesman replay are you seriously looking to buy? or you just want to know? because if you are not looking to buy, I don't want to tie up my guy for half hour. if you just want to know how much you can get for you jeep I can take a guess and that's it. So I replay maybe I should take it to CarMax and his answer was. You should do that. They will give you more money and they have a lot of dealers all over. well, I feel​ like he didn't want my business. I have been taking my Jeep here for 6 years to get services. The funny thing is that I live 2.0 miles away from Marino Jeep dealer and Fields is 16.5 miles away from my house and I choose to drive to fields because I like that dealer but maybe I should re-think my choice of dealer. ​ read more

I was in the market for a new car and being a young female I was skeptical of being taken advantage of by a car salesman looking to make a quick buck but fields proved this stereotype so wrong. I first looked around their huge lot to see what I liked and found an awesome red charger that I was interested in. When I was walking inside I was approached by Shawn Friedman one of the sales consultants who asked me if I needed help. Shawn was absolutely amazing and helped me every step of the way in purchasing my car. He told me about every option I had and made it very clear he was there to help me purchase a car not to sell me one. Sal also helped me with the financing of my car and was also amazing and extremely helpful. Not only is the customer service amazing but the facility itself is ridiculous. They have popcorn, coffee, ice cream just to mention a few things they offer while you're waiting. It's unlike any other car dealership I've ever been to. I am so used to walking into a dealership and knowing the vultures (salespeople) are waiting. When you walk in these doors it is a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. After walking around for awhile, I approached a salesman - Patrick O'Donnell - just to ask a few questions about a specific car. I am so glad I approached him, because he was absolutely fantastic to work with. Patrick made sure that he knew our budget, and didn't try to sway us toward a car that was out of our price range. He laid everything out on the table, including all the options for financing, incentives, and even suggested using our credit union to get a lower APR. This Fields dealership really takes care of their customers. They have free car washes and service rentals for life. There is an awesome "lounge area" with free Homer's ice cream, popcorn, and six different flavors of coffee. Patrick also told us to come back for their next cook out, which they invite you to enjoy free food, drink and entertainment for the night. When purchasing a car, of course the first thing you look for is the ability to get the best price available, which Fields did. These "extra's" just make your purchase all the more validating. I called ahead to make sure I could get in for an oil change at the express oil change. Was told not to worry they were open till 3 PM. I got there at 1245pm and was told I would have a 2 1/2 to 3 hour wait and should go to a quick lube somewhere else. (There was no line,). I bought this Jeep Grand Cherokee here brand new. Well I guess they have my money and no longer need my business. Went to get a car wash and it was closed, even though I was told on the phone that it was open. Top end service, very attentive, you drop off the car and they take car of everything. To me a dealer is a dealer, what makes the difference is what they try NOT to sell you. They advise you away from repairs that can wait or be substituted with a less expensive fix. Further, they are super polite and have a great waiting room. read more

A couple weeks ago I discovered I had a flat tire. My car was in my garage. I have a Chrysler warranty which covers roadside assistance but the two men in a van they sent to change the flat so I could take it for repair claimed it would require a special tool which they didn't have. I called the dealership to question why they never told me when I bought new tires from them or had a tire repaired last year. Long story short, the guys that were sent to change the flat were lying but Ken Kowal, the GM, offered to send a porter to my house to change the flat tire free of charge. Like, who does that today? When I went to service to get it repaired he came out and asked if everything got fixed. I'm not recommending everyone resort to contacting the GM for something as simple as a flat tire but it's good to know that the place is run by such a kind person. Thanks again Ken!!! read more
