Food takes wayyyyy longer than it should. I ordered my food today at 11:10, and it just arrived a few minutes ago through doordash. My dasher, Chris, was awesome and let me know what was happening the whole time. However, my food-a wrap and some fried potatoes-took over an hour to be made??? I will never order from this place again, through delivery or in person. They need to work on cooking their food quicker and actually make sure it's ready when the delivery driver shows up 30 minutes after I place my order. Either stop having delivery services or actually make the food on time. Treat every customer equally regardless of how they order. read more

The food here is absolutely AMAZING! I highly recommend eating here if you want GREAT breakfast. The food AND drinks are all on point. The Purple Haze is so soothing and smooth and I can taste the Lavender in it. So good! Great breakfast date or to take some guests and eat with friends and family for breakfast. My roommates and I came here about two weeks ago. First we got our name on the list through the Yelp app, which is always a power move. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated and parking was plenty. I was very disappointed to hear that they did not actually have their watermelon juice, even though it was still on their menu. I was pumped to finally try a juice so that was definitely a bummer. I ended up getting their biscuits with sausage gravy and it was just fine-- not very flavorful at all. This was not my first time at first watch and I know they have better items on the menu, so I would come back. I do think their prices are a bit high for what they serve. Breakfast is important to my husband. So after reading reviews last nice for several places in Nashville, I decided on First Watch although I was nervous because of a few negative reviews. However, our experience was outstanding!!! The service was superb and the food was delicious. Aside from the omelette that my husband ordered, he wanted a pancake covered in fruit, so they brought him a blueberry pancake with hot blueberry syrup and covered in fruit. He said it was so fluffy and light. We both enjoyed our experience and when we visit Nashville again, we will definitely come back to this establishment. read more

We were told the wait would be 15-30 minutes but it ended up being a bit longer. Upon being seated we were ready to order and quickly did so. It took roughly an hour to receive our food. A manager greeted us before our food came out and apologized for the delay and provided a coupon. I thought that was very sweet and customer oriented, especially since we never mentioned anything about the wait and were enjoying ourselves in deep conversation. I was spending the day in Nashville with my boyfriend and we decided we wanted to eat brunch at first watch since it's a place we both like. I made a reservation in Murfreesboro, drove 30 minutes to Nashville checked in and we still had to wait about 30 more minutes. We got sat down and ordered our drinks. I got served literally the worst coffee I have ever had, and my boyfriend's orange juice tasted like sunny D. I then decided to order the cold brew instead thinking it would be better but it tasted just as bad. Our food was terrible. The eggs just didn't taste right, our bacon tasted like it was maybe a few days old and the potatoes were burnt. The service wasn't good either, over all a terrible experience and we most definitely won't be back read more

My wife and I went here at about 11 AM on Saturday and there was a 15-20 minute wait. We were standing in the limited waiting area and helped our selfs to what we mistakenly thought was complimentary coffee (how embarassing). A waiter came by to pick up the small caraf of coffee to serve from and very abruptly, with no sense of tact, told us this was not complimentary coffee. We were horrified! To add insult to injury the waiter then went over to the cook and openly pointed us out to the cook. Obviously we were in the wrong here, but a customer facing employee in the hospitalty business should have a little more sense of graciousness. This location has been open maybe 6 months and we have been regular patrons, visiting probably a dozen times since they opened. This experience was so offensive that we left immediately and I am about 98% sure we will never be back. read more

When we were seated no one came to greet us and get our orders for a while and finally Miss Cameron came and checked on us and realized we had no waitress! She quickly apologized and took our order without hesitation and had our food out in no time! Her and the manager decided to cover our check and they sent us away with a $20 gift card! I respectfully asked two different staff members to check on the order and was assured both times that it was "coming." The restaurant was about half full, with many staff members present. Never saw a manager at all. I finally left without ever receiving anything. While this may be an isolated instance, it doesn't take many bad reviews to start things rolling downhill. especially in a inner-city neighborhood where lots of office workers need to find a quick lunch everyday. read more

We weren't planning on ever going to another First Watch but nothing else was open so early (9:30am) and we were on a schedule. The level of customer service here was the exact opposite of what we experienced last time. Friendly greeting, no chaos, quick and attentive service, and wonderful food. I would not recommend this restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait an additional 50 minutes to be seated. Our food took 60 minutes to arrive. I ordered the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, which were supposed to include avocado, but this was omitted. The waitress never came back to check on us - I waited 40 minutes. She never came back to ask us if we wanted a box to go so we could not take our food home. I gave her a 10% tip but honestly think it's too much for the poor service we received. I am a person who usually gives a 20% tip. A couple sitting next to us ordered their food a half hour after we did and their food arrived at the same time as us. Given that some of our food items were not made properly (ex- missing avocado) I honestly think we deserved a discount, but the waitress never came back to check on us.
