    Morning meditation

Stopped in for lunch Sunday afternoon. Jo wait for seating. Our waitress was attentive and the food and drinks were good as usually

breakfast/brunch chain that definitely has the old classics but is also more "hip" with fun drinks and foods! Kale Tonic Fresh Juice Kale, Fuji apple, English cucumber and lemon. Purple Haze Lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender. I personally wasn't a fan of the kale. Mostly because I hate cucumbers (I know I know they don't have any flavor). But the Purple Haze was good! The sweetness with a bit of floral taste was super refreshing! Two Chocolate Chip Multigrain Pancakes We've gotta warn you: these beauties are beyond big - they are humongous! Farmhouse Skillet Hash Two cage-free eggs any style atop fresh, seasoned potatoes. Served with whole grain artisan toast with all-natural house preserves. Bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack

Morning meditation juice and Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl

I am obsessed with the power breakfast quinoa bowl and their morning meditation juice. The quinoa bowl is packed with delicious protein and flavor. I love the mushrooms and tomatoes they add and the Italian sausage they use is sooo good. The juice is a perfect punch of orange, beet and ginger that will rev up your day. I wish I had a First Watch closer to home on the Central Coast of California!

Smoked salmon frittata with cheesy grits

This was such a great find on my most recent trip to Nashville, so good we had to come twice! While it looks like every yuppie brunch spot in the city, it tasted a lot better than some other familiar favorites. Same industrial-chic vibe, but different food. For starters, we had the million dollar bacon both times. This was delicious! The first day, they served it a bit crispier, and the waitress asked if that was okay with us when she served it. We agreed, and it was great! It's sweet, it's salty, it's flavorful- definitely recommend. The second time we ordered it, it was not crispy, it was limp you could say (still cooked of course) but was also really good! You could probably ask them to make it crispy if you want; when they gave it to us crispy it was probably a mistake but still very yummy. We also tried the holey donuts from the starter menu, which were cinnamon sugar donut holes served with chocolate sauce and blueberry jam. These were so soft and sweet and the dips were perfect. Oh, and the coffee was decent! They give you a pot for unlimited refills. Score! For the mains, I had the smoked salmon frittata, I enjoyed it! It had a good amount of salmon in it, as well as veggies. It was maybe on the drier side, but still good. The cheese grits were good, and I think it was made with yellow grits which I'm usually not a fan of, but these were good! It was also served with a slice of good bread, and I used some of my mom's jam on it. Excellent! My mom had scrambled eggs, which she said were really good, high praise from her. Second time around, I had the raspberry ricotta French toast. First of all, it's beautiful! Second of all, it's delicious! It's seasonal, but if you're coming in winter 2025, do not miss! You get two amazing slices of brioche bread topped with a yummy sweet ricotta and a raspberry sauce. Perhaps not enough raspberry sauce for both slices, but you're gonna want to put the (warmed!) maple syrup on the rest! There's a parking lot behind the building, and the main entrance is back there as well. When I came on a Thursday afternoon it was dead, but on Saturday afternoon it was PACKED. I could barely get in the door. They said it was a 25-40 minute wait, but they texted us that are table was ready in under 15 minutes. Service was good even though it was busy. There's a bunch of waitstaff walking around available to help, though. Such a great experience at First Watch!

Good 5/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 5/5 I need to keep this place on my go to list for breakfast--I forgot about it. They have a nice variety of breakfast for all tastebuds. I really enjoyed my club with side salad and I added a cup of tomato basil soup--very flavorful!

First thing getting off the plane, we grab breakfast! We ordered eggs Benedict and lemon ricotta pancakes. The food was good but not the best. The potatoes were wayyyyy too salty. I personally gilt my rings get tighter as my fingers started exploding. The pancakes were regular but what made them lemon ricotta was the lemon topping cream. I didn't really care for it too much. I have had better pancakes in the past. But it wasn't bad. It's all about your personal preference. For one thing the service was amazing!

    Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee
    Christina L.

Food: Elevated Egg Sandwich- good sandwich, perfectly runny egg. Came with some crispy potatoes- they would've been a home run with just a smidge less salt. Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee- yummy but you cannot taste any coffee... might be a problem to some but worked out nicely for this coffee noob Ambiance: Loved it. Seating is spaced so you don't feel crowded and the restaurant is beautiful. Seats are comfy and the place is clean, not much more you can ask for! Service: You take your ticket up front to pay and it turns out the server gave us the wrong ones. Instead of the cashier suggesting they get the right ticket (mine was actually the right one btw, they gave a duplicate of my ticket to someone else who already paid) or make an adjustment on the spot, it was presented as if it were my problem. I was flabbergasted and there was a line behind me, so I paid for the other more expensive ticket left open. It's a great brunch spot, but as someone who paid dang near $40 for a sandwich and iced coffee, I'm 100% not going back lol.

Fantastic food. Always great and quick service. We started our meal with the famous honey peppered bacon. So delicious but 4 thin pieces of bacon for $6 is pretty darn high and I wouldn't do it again but if you're a bacon lover (which I am not but my husband is) it's a must try. I had the breakfast tacos which were pretty good but dry. The chicken on them was less desirable but the chorizo was great and the black beans it's served with were a nice addition. My husband had the breakfast burrito and he was it was "a masterpiece" on a plate as well as in his mouth. Ha! Coffee is great and hot and the service was perfect.

So cute and delicious early morning before I go to church

Very cool hipster neighborhood right across the street from our Airbnb. Food so healthy so good ! The service was amazing. I am definitely going back to this restaurant on my next trip to Nashville !

We really enjoyed our visit here. It was within walking distance from our AIRBNB which made it very convenient for breakfast before we set out for a day in Nashville. The place is well lit with natural light, plenty of seating, clean bathrooms, lots of parking and friendly service. The sweet tea is delicious and the Million Dollar Bacon is to die for (wasn't very crispy though). Service was quick and portions are decent for the cost.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait for a table. The servers were very friendly, we were seated right away, and they immediately took our drink orders. We got the breakfast tacos and the Sunny Seoul hash, which was part of their seasonal menu. The breakfast tacos were delicious but the hash was definitely a winner for me, I loved the bits of kimchi which gave the dish a nice kick. Definitely recommend

Hard dark and veined Avocado. Yummy!

First Watch Green Hills, Nashville TN. This place doesn't care about their customers or the food they serve. This is my second time with bad food and customer service. The server's argue over taking a table after we had been sitting there for over 10 minutes with only 5 other tables, isn't that how you get tips and paid? Avocado that is black hidden in an omelet, wonder what the health department would think? Manager doesn't care, they give you bad gift cards too, for their lousy service. I hope they get shut down and a restaurant that has workers that at least try to have some customer service. Also ran 3 charges on my card. Check you accounts after being here.

    Traditional

Excellent food and great service. Nice outdoor area as well. The traditional breakfast with bacon-strawberry jam is homemade and delicious. Avo toast is filling and has 2 eggs- I added chicken apple sausage! The chicken changa has the same sauce as on the Benedict it's lemony and pairs well with the chicken!! The breakfast potatoes are seasoned and crispy. Like they are fried on a griddle.. delish !

We also tried the Moonlight in Vermont which was their riff on an old fashioned. For the Moonlight in Vermont they replaced the simple syrup with maple syrup... a nice twist that was not overly sweet. My husband enjoyed the French dip sandwich with Brussel sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were crispy & tossed in an aioli. I had the steak frites skewers. I loved all the sauce options that came with the steak. The garlic aioli was my favorite sauce. We did not save room for dessert but they all looked yummy coming out of the kitchen. Thank you Tad & The Finch staff for an excellent Saturday night dinner. Looking forward to another visit on our return to Nashville.

We came here for late dinner, 8.30 and this place was not packed which is very surprising, bc they play music jazz music, and you can have a lovely dinner and still hear ppl talk. But the best thing is their pork chop !!! This is a must get. Thank me later. We got the pork chop medium well bc we like our pork more cooked bc ain't no one trying to get salmonella from undercooked pork. But it was sooo good, has a nice char on the outside, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, it sits on top of a bed of allegedly "rice" according to our server. But to me, it reminded me of a tendon brisket texture. I would've bet money on it too. But delicious with sweet peach sauce that came with it. For the prime rib, it was a huge cut of meat, but it was lacking flavor, needed some more salt and some rosemary to bring out the meat. Both main dishes can serve 2 people each, so worth the price and food. Definitely come back! And a shout out to our server Cole, who was great

We loved our breakfast at Milk and Honey!…read more I've read this place can get very busy and have lengthy waits! Thankfully when we stopped in on a recent weekday morning there was no wait and we were seated in the most perfect spot right away! We chose an outdoor table! The outdoor patio is so nice, even in the Nashville summer heat!! We got there before it was super hot out and the patio kept us super comfortable the whole time!! :) We had a really great waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help us make the best decisions for what we were craving!! We started with a couple of drip coffees that came out in adorable cups, on saucers, with spoons, very lovely appearance! Quite delicious! We ordered a fried chicken biscuit sandwich that was served with their home fries and a side of country gravy. This was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend trying their table hot sauce! We loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home!! :) We also ordered the Chicken and waffles. This dish is also served with home fries and a then a side of syrup. This meal was also fantastic!! We had a really great experience at Milk and Honey and would highly recommend for someone looking for not just a good meal, but an entire lovely breakfast experience! :) Don't forget to check out their gift shop and bakery treats to go, on your way out!!

Loved the aesthetics of this place- very chic and modern looking. But the best part was our food. I had heard great things about the burger, and it did not disappoint. This was one of, if not the BEST burger I've ever had. It came out fairly quick, fresh and hot with melty cheese and the softest bun. There's layers of veggies and sauce which add so much flavor to the soft, melt-in-your-mouth bite. The only thing was the fries weren't my favorite. They were over seasoned in my opinion, and not super crispy. We were full at the end but the dessert menu looked really good, with specials like ube lava cake and panna cotta. I will be dreaming about that burger, and hopefully will make it back next time I'm in town for that burger or to try their brunch!

So when I knew we would be in Nashville, there were no questions: we were going to Maneet's! Mocking bird was the best choice for us as Indian food would not have been the best for our kids, and me as I can be a picky eater. Easily made reservation on-line. Heads up, no real street parking in the area so we had to park across the street in a parking garage (for a fee.) It was a Saturday night and the place was bleak! I couldn't believe it. There loss... The interior is meticulously decorated. Everything was very modern with some flare like the giant mirrored mocking bird protruding from the wall (super cool.) Sitting inside, you felt a little upscale. I tried a few things as there were 6 of us at the table. We started with Don't Worry, Brie Happy and Keepin' It Rio. The Brie bites were DELICIOUS!! I am still thinking of them 2 months later. I should have ordered this as my entree as well! The Rio, I could have done without. Squishy and lacked flavor for me. My cousin had Tot's El Tio Fun. Needed something. I thought it was a little dry. I did the trio. My choices: Brussels, fried rice and mac and cheese. I didn't realize these would be smaller than the original side version. The brussels needed more of a sauce. The rice- I wanted the egg on top but apparently this only happens when it is just the side. The mac and cheese was good. My friend raved over the Wedge between Us salad. My husband had the Bird Is The Word and has nothing but good things to say. Also, what a cute kids meal served in an only school microwaveable type of meal. I also felt I had to get a desert so the cookies it was and they were a little hard. My complaint- their website advertises the Happy Hour specials. They have it posted on the stalls in the bathroom. Nowhere does it say that you can only have the Happy Hour specials if you sit at the bar or outside. This made me upset! Advertise better. Be clear. Overall: the BRIE!!! True Score: 3.75
