I was going to let it slide, but I did pay for bacon and never received it. So..... It was my first time going to Five Guys and the order experience was alright! The girl (if you're younger than me, then you're a girl/boy) entered my order correctly. She was nice, clean and hair kept. The wait was quick for a regular hamburger (ketchup, mustard, relish and grilled onions), a Little Bacon Burger ( with Bacon, Mayo, Lettuce Grilled onions, Grilled mushrooms, BBQ on the side and two little fries of both varieties (Fry and Cajun). Maybe because my Little bacon burger was missing everything but the burger and mayo and BBQ side. Extras are at no cost, but I think the little bacon burger cost more than a little burger. NO BACON! Once realized, I called the Pearlridge restaurant and told them my order was wrong. The girl on the phone (possibly the one that took my order) asked me for my order number. #4. It maybe due to her young age and inexperience, but she did not try to rectify the situation. I said I couldn't come back, it costs more and I don't want (the mistake) to be done again. Awkward silence...I was waiting for her to offer a solution. She said sorry. Not sincerely sounding, though. Awkward. It's apparent she didn't know how to handle situations like this. On the plus side, my little bacon burger with mayonnaise minus the bacon, Lettuce, Grilled onions and Grilled mushrooms was yummy. Cajun fries were tasty and karai (in this case both salty and spicy). I can't review about the other burger since I didn't taste it. The place was clean, unobstructed, free peanuts, cute diner feel. Of course, Coca Cola products. They have two touch screen soda machines that you can add flavor syrups to your drink. The cooks were cute and tidy, stainless steel kitchen looks clean. They have restrooms. It wasn't an all bad experience, and when I cool off I'll bring the stars up with an updated review. I'm not sure when I'm going back, but I hope you give me extra Bacon since I paid for it. I can't wait to try a shake. I'm including a picture of my receipt and burger so a mistake like this never happens again. I am not a secret shopper, nor am I paid to review. It's been awhile since I've eaten at Five Guys Hamburger. Tonight I had an urge to eat their meal to take out. The ambience and decor very pleasant and clean with tables a sign where patrons cannot sit- social distance seating. My disappointment was all the staff after my order others orders taken, all went to the back of the room only one staff was in the open air kitchen . We sat leisurely for our take outs and eating their famous free peanuts. When I realized all patrons that ordered after us sat and eating but we didn't get ours. I went to show staff my ticket order. He looked at my ticket only to find my order on top of their counter! I should've asked for a newly cooked meal but we waited about 20 minutes, I was hungry to go home and eat. Time we place our order 7:39pm we went out at 8:00pm! One more disappointing scene I saw one staff digging his nose that I can see through their back rooms window. He stopped when he realized I was watching it! That gentleman came out into the kitchen but I'm not sure he washed up and wearing gloves to prepare the remaining order that I saw on their preparation table when I went to pick up my greasy brown package.. I like their concept of their hamburgers and it is one of best hamburgers I've eaten but I care not for their behavior of leaving the hamburgers on the grill and all go in the back of the room! First review of 2018! Wow! This place has finally opened. My visiting cousin and I decided on getting Goma Tei, but when we arrived - we noticed Five Guys was open so we decided to give this place a go instead. I've actually never tried Five Guys in my life... even though I've had so many opportunities to... even on the mainland. I've been hesitant to try it because I've heard from many people that it is SOO expensive compared to the mainland, and I figured I'd just wait until the next time I visit family out there. Welp, guess what? It IS kinda pricey. I mean - $10 for a burger? Yikes. Almost $10 for large fries? Double yikes! I totally understand though - ingredients must be shipped and therefore, the paradise tax. We ordered: - Burger with customized toppings - I appreciated that all toppings were FREE and there was no additional cost (which I guess makes up for the expensive price tag) - Grilled Cheese - Just OK... for $6 - Large Fries - They were super GENEROUS with the fries. We couldn't even finish most of it. Note to Self: A small is more than enough for 2-3 people! Other notes: Their drink machines are the customizable Coca Cola products. They have a variety of condiments. The staff was friendly. Parking is in the mall lot with plenty of spaces. The place was clean and bright! The only reason why we came here is because pieology was too crowded. I was tryng to avoid here because i seen their prices earlier. Okay so its basically you go up to the counter order your burger and u have your choice on toppings (pic) and sit down and wait for your order to be called. The burgers come wrapped in foil and the fries come in a paperbag....real casual but kind of cool !! The burger was juicy and flavorful. The buns was kind of smashed but not soggy. The fries were so good!! perfectly seasoned and so yummage!! Their burgers was tasty but IMO not worth the premium. Similar to Teddys and Kua'aina burger but cost more but at least they have all you can eat free salted peanuts but still Fiveguys is too costly. The soft drink station is similar to the ones at long john silvers or A&W. Great food and great service! Always with a smile. They actually forgot my bacon and happily gave me some and were super apologetic about it. That being said, the prices are way inflated from mainland prices, more so than normal for Hawaii. That, I'm not so thrilled about. But I digress. The place was clean and everything was well stocked. This place is a joke. The franchise owner should be ashamed of themselves. Burger patty was 2/3 the size of the bun. Fries were cold and greasy as hell. The shakes....the ultimate joke . First the completely forgot our expensive shakes. Then got the flavors wrong. Then even left out one add in. They were BARELY even cold and as runny as a warm protein drink. The manager said "that's how it is" and dismissed us. He even told me to taste it first and handed me a straw. I've had shakes at other 5 guys places and needed a spoon. Tried Five Guys for the first time today. I had a double patty with all the standard toppings: lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mayo, sautéed and mushrooms along with a small order of fries. The burger was juicy and I thought the small order of fries with potatoes from Idaho hit the spot! They offer complimentary peanuts which I enjoyed a few as I waited the food to be prepared. The cashier was friendly and the restaurant looked very clean. The meal was about $15 which is a bit pricey but I look forward to treating myself to a Five Guys burger every once in a while. read more

So definitely more expensive than the typical Five Guys on the mainland (so I hear). This was our first time trying this burger and had no real idea what to get. We split a bacon cheeseburger and a small fry. We also ordered it "all the way " which means all the fixings (that included grilled mushrooms and grilled onions, too!) kid you not it was about $16 but the gal at the counter was helpful ordering and asked if we wanted the burger cut in half. That is always a challenge so yeah it really helped! My husband also noticed that they funnel fries in the cup size that your ordered and then add more fries once the cup of fries is placed in the bag! Golden! Also the complimentary peanuts as you wait are always a plus! When we finally bit into our burger, it was massive in my mouth! I mean this thing made me open wide! The taste was fresh- that's the only thing I thought of. Fries were tasty- a lil on the salty side but yes it was good! My party had lots of milkshakes. Four other relatives had a mix of different flavors. Five Guys also lets you mix as many flavors as you wish for free! My son loved his strawberry shake and he also had the rest of my daughter's chocolate shake! It was a winner! Customer service was very good. All the workers stayed busy. And they thoroughly seemed happy to work. All the condiments were filled and seemed very clean! Overall happy with the food and service! A bit pricey, but if you go once in awhile then that's okay! At the evening of 9/11/2020 we decided to grab burger from Five Guys AIEA. I never had them before so I was hoping for a great experience. My bf ordered it online and we waited 20min they said, but when I went inside to pick it up it's not done yet. So I waited another 10min. There's 3 staff, and there's a couple that's ahead of me and waiting too.. when I got my orders my bad I really didn't check that we are missing 1 order of French fries. And at the same time the kitchen floor looks nasty.. French fries all over the floor.. food is not warm enough anymore, and had to wait for my milk shakes. The burgers are huge so I would reccomend the "small" over the double patty monster. Get all the free fixin's like lettuce, tomatoes, fresh and grilled onions, shrooms, and much more. My bacon cheeseburger had bacon top and bottom so I happily crunched my way through this gargantuan sandwich. All was good but our minor complaint was that the bun was a bit lackluster. This burger deserves a toasty, brioche style bun, not a pale comparison. Wifey agreed. A regular fries was more than enough for two and the paper bag happily sopped up some peanut oil for us (really good handcut, fresh fries). Topped it off with a vanilla shake that was thick and delicious, a perfect foil to the oily, salty and hot fries. Came here after being told that the wait at Bravo's was 45 min. Not sure what Five Guys is known for...are they a "never frozen beef" type place or is it the "hand cut" fries? The peanuts? idk. My friend and I both agreed that the food was fine. Nothing really outstanding but they have decent burgers and fries. I was disappointed that they were out of hot dogs but maybe I'll get one next time...I had the "little bacon cheeseburger" and a really great peanut butter & oreo cookie milkshake (which was super yummy & totally worth the price.) It definitely was on the pricier side but I was already aware of their "a la carte" prices as I was ready for the sticker shock. A "little" burger and shake cost me about $16....ouch. Good thing my friend and I also gobbled down some of the free peanuts. We have been coming to this location for several years. It used to be a staple in our weekly dinner rotation, but it has gone down hill fast over the last year. They don't give you ketchup for fries anymore. They don't give you cups for water, you have to pay! The customer service is terrible. The food is the same as always, but when your paying $130 for 4 cheeseburgers and you're a burger restaurant, I feel like you should give out ketchup for your fries and at least give out free water. I recommend skipping this place. If your gonna pay this much money for a cheeseburger, there are plenty of other better places on the island. read more

Had never been to FG and was craving a burger. Upon coming through the front door, every employee shouts a warm Hello. Restaurant was very clean. Staff was very friendly, courteous, and professional. Repeating back your order to assure it was correct. I ordered a Cheeseburger All The Way, Medium Cajun Fries, and Medium drink. All in was $20.70. Large boxes of VA roasted salted in shell peanuts are free and very good. Scoop from the bottom to get freshest. Burgers are fresh (not frozen) and cooked to order. The staff worked well as a team and tracked wait time. Order comes in a bag and the first thing you notice is that the bag is overflowing with skin on fries. MED is $5.89 but you do get a very large order. Burger was very good, seasoned well and tender. Definitely better than the frozen hockey pucks most places serve and more flavorful than say Wendy's (which also does fresh meat. Overall very good, not inexpensive but the quality is definitely there. Definitely a step up from most fast food places. Well trained staff is a rare find these days. read more

We spent $38 for a little bacon cheeseburger and a regular bacon cheeseburger, regular French fries, and two drinks. Food was horrible. The fries were burnt, the bacon in my burger was burnt, and the other cheeseburger had a glob mess of mustard. We were both hangry and disappointed if we needed to wait to have our entire order redone. Ask to speak to managers and both were so young that they both had no attitude to care or make changes. We've ate at 5 Guys Mililani and Kapolei. The burgers were good at both locations. The service was superb at Mililani. But this location was horrible. Not recommended at all and will not return. Granted it's a LARGE cheeseburger with two patties and fresh veggies, but it just doesn't match up to other gourmet-ish burger places for that price. I'd characterize it as a big In-And-Out burger that doesn't taste as good. Throw in fries and a drink and you're then set back $20. The bacon cheese burger is $12! It's all ala carte. It is pricey, BUT all the toppings are free. If you get "all out" it has all the standard burger add-one without you having to say every single thing you want. If you want to get a million toppings then it may be worth the money but if you like it simple it may be worth it to try this place once. It was a good quality burger with two thin slices of patties instead of one large party. A regular fries is enough to share with two people. I do like the fact that the fries are fresh cut and not from the freezer, although the texture was either soggy or dry, not really crispy. We also tried a shake but it was just ok. read more

This review is for Mililani, but from the looks of other reviews it applies here as well. This is literally the worst burger I've ever had, whilst also being one of the most expensive I've had. I got the regular Hamburger "all the way". Nothing on the burger had any flavor. I would call it one dimensional, but I don't know if it even has one dimension; there is zero beef flavor. I did not order cheese, but I got it anyways...and it was the blandest cheese I've ever tasted. Even the pickles were bland! My patties were over cooked. The fries were way over-salted. The food does not taste fresh. Seems that this chain is much more concerned about posting signs about how good and fresh their product is, rather than actually making a good product. For first-timers, the little burger is actually a normal size burger, while the regular burger has two patties of artery-clogging, beefy goodness. Five guys at pearlridge center is kinda cool. They have so many ways to pile on stuff for your burger. For me I chose to keep my burger simple instead if all the fixings they offer. If you get fries there are pretty good, and you get alot. The drinks are self serve. Parking is easy because there is all that open parking in front of the place. At first I thought of it as being quite expensive only to find out that one can add any of the available toppings without additional charge. Now who doesn't like free (still a bit pricey though). But my husband insisted that we try it to see how it is since we've heard great things about this place. I had ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and mushrooms, tomato, and lettuce. So delicious. It wasn't soggy thank goodness. The grilled onions and mushrooms was grilled just right and not having a burnt taste. It was great to have a taste of everything in each bite as I ate the cheeseburger. The meat patty itself was huge. I thought I was eating a double cheeseburger. Then I had regular size fries. So happy it wasn't salty. Glad they are fresh cut and prepared upon order so as to have no soggy fries. My husband had about the same except no tomato in his bacon cheeseburger. He certainly loved it for he devoured his share within minutes while as I, I savored every bit of it. No complaints from either one of us. We did end up with a lot of extra fries but that wasn't a problem since my husband loves potatoes. Will just buy one batch of fries next time though. Service was great. Though we did go when it was getting close to closing so we were practically the only customers in there at the time. Either way though, they were patient with us and nice enough to let us know that the additional condiments that one can add to their food was free rather than later to see unexpected charges afterwards. Aug 13 2021 First time customer Store is a little hard to find but plenty of parking and worth the effort! Had a little cheeseburger with grilled onion and ketchup, a little cheeseburger lettuce and tomato and small fries! The atmosphere is old malt style, family friendly roomy and exceptionably clean and spotless! The staff are great and the food variety is great! They are still Covid compliant. The fries are fantastic! Got a small order and it was more than enough! The burgers were phenomenal! Probably the best we've had on the island and we've tried about a dozen excluding the cheap biggies! If you're taking the keikis, Burger King, Jack-in-the-Box or McDs will do, but if YOU want a great burger, try this place! read more

The fries were soggy but tasty with the Cajun seasoning. Shake was really good. I got the vanilla with Oreo cookies. I got a bacon little burger with tomato, lettuce, mushrooms, jalapeños. Tip: the "little" burgers are ONE patty. The regular are TWO. I put the tip first because if you're like me, I avoided this place because of the prices lol.
