The food was great and the staff were all friendly and attentive. However, I did notice something a bit unusual that might feel uncomfortable for people who are sensitive to racism. We had reserved outdoor seating, but without explanation we were guided to a table inside, in a corner hall of the restaurant. It's fine. Later during our meal, I realized that every Asian group (or Asian + non-Asian couple) seemed to be seated in that same corner section, even though the restaurant was huge for over hundreds and had plenty of open space. I'm not sure if this was intentional or just a coincidence, and I don't want to claim it was racism -- but it definitely felt odd. The food and service were both very good, but I think it's fair to mention this experience for those who might be sensitive to possible racial bias. Fogo de Chão is a great experience for special occasions. The full experience (all you can eat, servers bring out meat and you choose whichever ones you like) cost around $60 per person. My personal favorites included the bacon wrapped chicken, Parmesan pork, and pork belly. The file mignon chicken was a little salty. I also enjoyed the ribs. Since I don't like beef as much as chicken a MF pork, I can't say much about the rest of the option they had, but nothing stood out in a bad way. They also have sausages, which I thought were yummy as well. The salad bar was also incredible. The presentation is beautiful and there are so many options to choose from. I tried many different options. The ones that stood out to me were the roasted cauliflower and chicken salad. And, of course, the Brazilian cheese bread was delicious. Service was great and super quick while maintaining the fanciful ambience of the restaurant. The only minor issue was that we had request pork belly to be brought to our table, but they never came by with it. I'm sure the waiters were very busy and just forgot though. We come here every year and the service and food is always great. But I just learned a new trick. Recently, I have been trying to watch what I have been eating, and I decided to order the Market Table (Salad Bar) and one meat entree, which is nearly 1/2 the cost of the all-you-can-dine option. The waiter recommended the FOGO $44, which is just $5 more than the single meat entree and you get a much broader selection. If it is still available, GO FOR IT! I have to say, this was a great recommendation, and I may never go back to the all-you-can-eat. It does not include the beef ribs, ribeye, filet mignon, and lamb chops. (Which the Filet Mignon barely makes it's round anyway.) But you can have everything else. Honestly, I am really most interested in the house specialty - Picanha anyway. This is my very honest review. I'm not new to FDC restaurants, but...it was my first time at this specific location. What a Distasteful Service! First, the greeter/host was either new, annoyed or overwhelmed, she was acting so frantic. No acknowledgement to the guests arriving, no hello welcome in, or good evening. Disappointing first taste. Our server was ("something else" ) whenever she could be found that is. Our server can never be found. We placed an order for drinks, we are all waiting, no drinks. 10 mins later she comes back, she forgets the drink order. We have to wait another 10 or more minutes for drinks. Next order for drinks no server, when we flagged her down after seeing her it's another wait for drinks. I had to ask for side dishes at the table, she forgot. The meat servers were horrible, we had to be Waving at them to come over to our table. Turning our cards green meant nothing. At one point one of the sausage server asked if "we still ddnt get anyone to serve us our meat preference" we said no, he went and got it for us. Thanks to that guy, he came and apologized for us waiting so long. Maybe 20 mins at this point. Some cuts of meat had no flavor or taste. The meat was either so dry and tasteless, overly salty, or bloody. Shame on all the servers who passed our tables. Overall, what an Unpleasant Anniversary Dinner dining experience, for us and family from out of town. I love the small dishes that they provide-most notably the cheese breads!! You may choose to eat meat but I don't recommend it more than once because the meat seems normal to me and not worth the price. Servers will come to you with meats and cut off pieces to your plate, which is pretty cool. You should have your tongs ready to pick up the pieces. Make a reservation because there are definitely people waiting for a bit without one. The service is very bad. Not once did we get our waters refilled. And we waited 30 min to pay (from asking for the check to getting the card back). Fix the service and it would be close to 5 stars. read more

I hate to be nitpicky, but this is how bad it was. Food was eh, unseasoned and not cooked great. Cuts were bad, over or under cooked severely. Very fatty. We have been to other locations and it has been great. We never got our fried plantains or any of the little sides & we did not realize until we left. Glasses had hand and lip prints all over them & no one realized until we brought it up. Took 10 minutes to get water or new glasses even. We had to tell someone to get help multiple times. Finally was served bread as well. Stale and cold... as soon as we sat down? Never got a refill. Never got any other sides. Servers ignored us the whole time, made a reservation and they sat us at the smallest table nearest to the front door on a freezing night. ALL for our one year anniversary mind you. The manager was very sweet and tried fixing it, comped part of our meal and gave us free dessert, it was just completely unsatisfactory to be honest :( for a supposed high end restaurant, and the experience you think you would get on an anniversary. None of it was that. Down to the very end where even the plate it was served on was cracked in multiple places... the other plate was fine. Even when we sat our table cover had stains ALL over it ruining any pictures I took, had to edit and crop most of them. There was other tables open it just seemed like no care at all. Not sure why they can't pay attention to detail and have swapped the plates. Just utterly disappointed for something that was supposed to be a special night. We even tipped 40% to the server on accident that wasn't attentive because it took the "20%" from the original percentage before the comp... overall just a waste of money. This review is for MARCO and James. Marco was not our waiter, just a gaucho like several others, but he went out of his way to make our experience better. He noticed we didn't have small meat plates and got them for us himself. Which I was grateful for since the first cut of meat was somewhat rare and getting meat juice all over my fruit. He noted that I asked for a smaller than average cuts of medium-well done beef options and made sure that's what I got without me having to ask every time. Aside from being awesome with us, I saw that he was very efficient with his time and was kind to everyone he served. James came around near the middle-end of our meal (we got there right at opening) and asked if we'd like bananas. Which I had forgotten about, and was pleased to be reminded of. The salad bar is constantly stocked with fresh items and there's a great selection of fruit, salads, cheese, & cured meats. Try the candied bacon. The meat dishes themselves were well-cooked whether or not you wanted it rare or medium. Unfortunately the bottom sirloin & lamb was a bit too salty. Just watch out because when you are offered drinks, it's a la carte so you're paying extra for that on your bill. We had to order each item at least three times before it finally reached our table, whether it was food or drinks. Even the payment was wrong - they brought the incorrect bill and the wrong credit card from someone else. We noticed multiple times that our orders were being given to someone else. On several occasions, we had to tell the waitress or waiter, "Hey, I think this is mine." Speaking of the waitress/waiter, that was another issue. When they asked how our experience was going, I said it wasn't very good because our orders were constantly missing, and it was never clear who we were supposed to order from since the staff kept disappearing. The response was that they are "like a family" and that you can order from anyone. I then mentioned that it had been 30 minutes since I ordered a shrimp cake. The response was, "I'm so sorry, I'll bring it right now." Guess what - I never got to eat it. On top of that, they have two different "rodizio" options. I've been to the Fogo on Beltline for years and it's always been really good. I'm not sure what happened with this location though. I went today for a private event so they were serving a bunch of folks. Perhaps that's why the meat was like it was... Either way... The meat was completely awful. Beyond terrible is nice. Incredibly bland. None of the fat rendered. No seasoning. I'm attaching 2 pics to prove my point. First one is the garlic sirloin. You can see the fat is all still there. None rendered which made the meat dry and overcooked. Second is bacon wrapped beef. You can see it's so bad the bacon is pretty much raw. Barely cooked at all and honestly quite disgusting. The food bar is always amazing and you can easily make a meal out of all the delicious things from there. However I notice the quality of meat has dipped a bit. All the meat we got tasted very salty the last time we went and the cuts contained a lot of fat. The best meat, which is usually brisket and filet mignon doesn't come by the table much and even when we did get it it was still over salted. This was our first visit to Fogo de Chao and we were there to celebrate our birthday. The food was really good and very filling. The options were great and I honestly appreciate the quantity of food at the buffet. It was not too much or too little, which was perfect. I really enjoyed the cocktails (cucumber mint cocktail was my fave by far) and their Brazilian lemonade is quite tasty as well. We enjoyed the ambiance of the place, it was definitely upscale and very comfortable. Once we were seated, they did go above and beyond to TRY and make up for the long wait, but unfortunately, the shortcomings did not stop with 3 of our 13 people not doing the full meat experience two of the persons had to send their dish's back due to it being severely burnt, and then the other didn't even receive their meal and had to remind the server due to them forgetting about her meal and wanting to get it taken off the bill since she did not get it. Technically, we went for my brother's birthday, but him and I have birthdays four days apart, so we both celebrated. He picked this place over his favorite Brazilian, cause he wanted to try something different and we hadn't been to a Fogo in 10-15 years. Let's just say he's really upset and disappointed and basically said his birthday was ruined. Oof. We had a reservation at 2, so we could get the dinner options, but we showed up a few minutes early and were given the brunch menu instead. We thought it was gonna be the same but cheaper so, so that was fine... Until it wasn't. The brunch was super picked over and the omelette person had already left and everything was basically cold and gone... But it took them at least 30 minutes if not more to switch it out for the dinner options and by then we were already pretty full, but unsatisfied with our choices that we had to make based on what was left. My mom just got the salad bar, but based on the little amount of options, I swear she only ate about five dollars worth, but of course still paid full price. I ordered an entrée, but while I was waiting for it, I grabbed a salad and the waitress ran over and told me that the salad wasn't included. I asked her to cancel my entrée then and I would just get the salad bar myself. But the menu distinctly says The salad bar and all sides are included with the brunch entrées, so that was shady. I just didn't feel like arguing. But it was literally on the menu right in front of her. And she should know better. The drastic price differences between lunch, brunch, and dinner are arbitrary too since the offerings are no different (except some brunch items). I ordered one martini, but a second one was brought to the table unasked for... They did take it away, but they forgot to take it off the bill until we reminded them. They were out of the dessert my brother wanted, which was the cherry on top that tipped him off to really being upset and felt like he wasted a birthday dinner. I was given a dessert, but I ordered the papaya cream and it didn't come with the Cassis on top, which was weird??? It was bland. It's also kind of annoying that you're only allowed to use one birthday coupon. It's not our fault that our birthdays are so close together. But appreciate we at least got the one discount. Not trying to sound cheap or ungrateful, just saying, it does screw the other person or people over if you celebrate with multiple bdays. They actually forgot to apply the $25 off as well, we had to ask for that a second time when they took the second martini off. The bathroom had a broken stall, no toilet paper in a second, and no soap in one of the dispensers. The tap water smelled funny. And the waitress kept pouring water refills over the carpet so it would spill over the carpet?! It was weird. And they do try to trick you into getting spring or sparkling water without mentioning the additional charge. They also hardly had anybody coming around for the meat. My brother and his girlfriend waited with empty plates almost the entire time we were there. It did pick up more at the end. But they like medium rare and a lot of what they were given was well done. They also said it was very salty. And repetitive options. Some of the vegetables on the salad bar were inedibly salty as well. The waitress asked us which sides she could bring to the table, and I said we'll take one of all of them, she gave me a look like that was the stupidest, weirdest, most greedy thing she had ever heard. Bro, you literally have three sides, calm down. By the way, the mashed potatoes we were given, like maybe one portion for a table of four and they looked like they came from a box. Ironically, we only ate a little bit of bread, but they kept it coming and coming. I think we ate like five to six pieces total between the four of us and I swear they brought us at least 40. Only kind of exaggerating. The music is so loud you can't hear the person next to you. And it's so bright for a fancy, intimate restaurant. I did like the light fixtures though lol. This review is tricky. I like meat. I like a variety of meats. I just think the scale of the restaurant size in proportion to servers wasn't fully there. The concept is you have this circle on your table that notes "green" for service or "red" to let servers know you don't need cuisine offerings. There is a large salad bar so you are munching on food as soon as you are seated. The cuts of the meat didn't showcase a variety of exotic meats but all things COW was good. The wait staff was accommodating, almost as if they knew it was super busy. Womp womp. They didn't have pineapple juice but I enjoyed another beverage just fine. It's just that it took a while for it to come out. I loved how when a skewer of meat is presented, you may voice an edge piece! Otherwise, you may risk getting a more rare/medium rare cut. They are accommodating in that way. It's just that I didn't feel servers were making their way to our table fast enough. That's what I get for being hangry. Would I come back again? Yes. I think the concept of the restaurant is too good to not try. If you're wanting a quiet, steak experience....this is wouldn't be a good option.
