My husband and I went on date at Fourk last night and it was exceptional! We loved everything about the experience. The food was phenomenal. Great wine pairings. Lovely intimate setting. Paul has created an awesome "elevated" dining experience that is easily accessible to those of us in a Placer County. The waitstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable about wine. Dining amongst strangers but it felt like friends. We were entertained but it was not over the top. We can't wait to come back for the next month's menu. Dinner starts promptly at 6:30, we arrived around 5:45 and took advantage of the pre-dinner happy hour. Took my daughter to Fourk for her graduation. We had the best Charcuterie board, followed by a yummy strawberry arugula salad, delicious lobster Mac and cheese and Filet Mignon with zucchini. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. The setting was comfortable and stylish. The food, well that is just the tip of the iceberg. Every flavor paired perfectly with the wine for each course. Get the Reserve pairing if you want to splurge, but believe me when I say there was nothing lacking in the Classic wine pairing. Paul and his staff add so much to the experience as a whole. They take you through their history, introduce you to the staff, talk about the restaurant and go through each course in detail. They make you feel like you belong there and you are a part of something special, and you really are!!! I cannot wait to try the rotating monthly menu every month going forward! I hate giving a less than 5 star review because they were so nice and the service was great! And I appreciate the concept and them bringing a 4 course meal to the everyday person. I was there for the august menu - I have to say that I wasn't too impressed with the food. First two courses, chopped salad and tom kah soup were the most disappointing. The salad was pretty bland. And the soup - the flavors just weren't there. Main course and dessert were good. The dishes they chose made sense for serving the same thing to a group. I'm happy I tried it once, not sure though if I would return (which I hate to say!). It's clear that many people love it, so you might, too! read more

The Fourk is a great experience for food. As my wife and I are considered elderly - we don't eat a lot, so the portions are perfect for us. We did Opt-Out of the Wine option, because one glass of wine is what we need and wanted. The taste of each dish was extraordinary. The staff are excellent. The concept of "4" is very cleaver. Decor is fine, the restaurant is clean, including the restroom - that is a huge plus for any restaurant. The noise (diners chatter and the music) are a bit too much for us. However we have reserved a table in June. We will try out the Folsom site soon. The prices are acceptable, especially if you want good food. Otherwise go to Applebees or Siinos for less than extraordinary read more

The entire experience: food, service and interaction from the chef and owner is nothing short of excellence. I was skeptical at first when my sister booked this place for our"Treat Yo Self" monthly sister dinner but my skepticism was misplaced. This was one of the best dinners I have ever had. My husband and I had the pleasure of experiencing Fourk at the grand opening and all I can say is HALLELUJAH!! This is exactly what Lincoln has been missing! I love the farm to table food offerings which will change seasonally, the "4" theme is great & offers the perfect opportunity to taste lots of delicious food items. The wine selection is always 5 stars - Paul not only has a fabulous food palate but also has an amazing wine palate as well! I feel really good about the value you get from the 4 courses, and love the comfortable, cozy vibe you feel throughout your entire dining experience. Wish that I could give it 4 1/2 stars. Only disappointment was: it's pretty loud with all the people talking during dinner, and; the entree was slightly warm chicken.
