So its Christmas Day and me and my group wanted to get something to eat before going to the movies but Octupous was closed and Kabuki's drinks are to weak and fu-fu for me. We discovered this place which apparently just opened. It has a cool vibe to it, sublevel from the street, and to my surprise carries draft American and Asian beers with good ambiance music in the back ground. It seems they've also raised the prices for subpar food and service. My sons salmon hand roll was gross and they didn't offer to remake it or take it off the bill. I have been coming to this restaurant since I graduated high school and moved to the valley in 2015. This is our (my boyfriend and I) favorite restaurant for date night! There are new owners and I see small changes. The biggest change I noticed was new menus, and new rolls! We tried the paparazzi roll and it was instantly our new fav- go to roll! We will be trying more new rolls in the future. Johana is always the best server to us! I always hope we are assigned to her tables! We had dinner here the other night and had a few safety concerns. The main one being a few of the staff & sushi chefs were wearing their masks UNDER their noses. This definitely needs to be addressed by management. There were no temperature checks or patron hand sanitizer station as far as I could tell. The other main concern is the cleaning of tables between seatings. The night we were there, tables were wiped down quickly using windex, which is not antibacterial solution. The tables were not thoroughly wiped and the chairs were not wiped at all. I watched every table be reset and this was their protocol throughout the evening. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND restaurants are doing their best during these crazy times and 100% appreciate the amount of effort it's taking to run their business right now. The staff is clearly working hard at this restaurant and patrons should tip generously for these there's efforts. We did. I just think managing small details of masks being worn properly and thorough safety & sanitation measures being implemented consistently would help customers feel more at ease and have a more relaxing al fresco dining experience. read more

After a while waiting one of the associates came to me saying we don't take reservations from yelp qnd I can't do anything for even though we had a reservation. My boyfriend and I went here for dinner last weekend. We had a 25 minute wait to be seated. After being seated, another 20 minutes before we could order. At least another 20 minutes before our beverages arrived. And then another 15 minutes before our food came. My dried out teriyaki chicken dinner was cold, Miso soup flavorless, and mostly inedible. The waiter asked how the food was and didn't seem to care about how my food tasted. The cashier also asked if we were happy with our food choices. We responded that we were sadly disappointed and would not eat there again. No one even bothered to offer me something else from the menu or discount the bill. This is not written in anger, but in hope that the management will try to amend their lack of concern for their customers. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Very very bad delivery service from Grubhub, the 2 miso soups are missing (Called the restaurant and they did include the 2 miso soups) the sauce with the noodles is all spill inside the bag, the rolls are mess up in the boxes, obviously the driver tilted the delivery bag and everything inside are a mess. read more
