Like many others, I found this spot on TikTok because of their viral sushi sandwich, so I had to give it a try. I also ordered the salmon set, spicy tuna rice, and a few basic rolls. Overall, the portions were solid, and the food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. The fish didn't taste very fresh and the rolls were just okay. The sauces definitely helped, but the filling itself lacked flavor/bland, which was disappointing. I'm not sure if I caught them on an off day or if this is just how it always is. I've encountered bones in discount sushi all the way up to Michelin starred omakase but I'm forgiving it at this price point. Came in on a Monday at around 7, and there weren't much people dining. I think there are two restaurants in one (Sushi Para 88 for AYCE in the front, and Nomado 33 in the back). Happy hour is 4-8: $4 house wine, champagne, sake, and $3 beers. This place doesn't have great sushi. But it's good if you want okay sushi, a late happy hour, and somewhere you can just take your time to eat. We ordered a few rolls to share: Blue Ocean Roll (Spicy Scallop, Avocado, Crunch Inside Tobiko, Topped with Yellowtail, Jalapeno with Spicy Chili Sauce) - not sure what sweet Thai chili sauce is doing on a sushi roll, but surprisingly, it was actually pretty good! This was probably my favorite roll of the night. Tiger Roll (Tuna, Salmon Inside, Topped with Tuna, Salmon, Eel, Avocado, Crunch, Masago, Scallion, Served with Eel Sauce) - not bad overall. My teriyaki beef was an enormous portion of steak as was my son's pork katsu. We also ordered the chicken gyoza, pan-fried with a little crunch, and edamame, which came warm and salty. The only improvement would be the miso soup which was a little bland and had the tiniest bits of tofu. We ordered online for takeout because we had show tickets. The order was ready within about 20 minutes. Since we were pressed for time, we literally started eating so quickly, I didn't get any photos. The restaurant was pretty lively and we might come back to eat inside next time. I'll also say that the packaging of the dishes for takeout was very nicely done; steamed rice kept separately, a little tin container for wasabi and soy sauce, and even our drinks were separated by cardboard so that they stayed in place while carried.
