I came to this buffet on a Saturday at 7 pm and it was pretty packed. However, we were seated pretty quickly. This buffet has a lot of selections including a salad bar and sushi section. For the price, I would have thought they would have had teppanyaki as well, but they did not. They did however Cajun seafood with shrimp, sausage, corn, and muscles, which is something that I've never seen at a buffet. My son ate a full plate of expired macaroni and cheese. I let the waitress know and she did nothing about it. She didn't remove it from the pot to make sure others didn't eat it instead she took her lunch sat down and ate. I didn't notice it was expired until i stole a little off of what he left over. It wasn't a little bad it was very very much expired i spit it out and gaged so hard i don't know how my 2 year old ate 4 spoon fulls. If he gets ill i will most definitely sue. I saw the manager was there or at-least she looked like one and she was very apologetic and very friendly. She expressed thank you for bringing it up to her attention because it can be dangerous so it shows she cares but the employees didn't. 3.5 stars. Some people hate this place, but I think it's fine. It's a simple buffet with a good variety and decent price. It's nothing fancy. Service is usually good and decent for us. Don't expect anything much and I think you'll be okay. I will say that they have one of the best tasting and quality crawfish in the area. For the price, I think it's actually really good compared to places like Luxe and the seafood one in Corona (crawfish wise). But unlike them, their selection is smaller. read more

Please remember this kind of restaurant is not short order, and the amount of food the kitchen feels safe making & rotation rate of fresh food depends on day of week and time of day, to avoid wasting food. It is not reasonable to expect high rotation rate of food when there are few customers inside. The restaurant has been recently remodeled. Now If what you are looking for is food that has been rewarmed beyond the comfort, flan that had been frozen and just put out as needed, a sushi station where the chef brought out premade sushi for him to garnish, and finally an ice cream station that makes you wonder the age of the ingredients, then look no further because this is your spot. I've never seen or personally had yellow fried rice, but if there is a first for yellowish fried rice then you'll want to visit. The sauces on the dishes were glazed from how long they had been sitting underneath the heating lamp. We watched as the staff just poured additional portions into the buffet without replacing the aged dishes. Wanting to play the devils advocate in our group and knowing that i should be fair before reviewing, I tried the American dishes: soggy French fries, over-hardened chicken nuggets and over-warmed pizza; very disappointing but again, expected. Very happy with this spot! Was in town for work and needed to break a 26+ hour fast so headed here. Came at a pretty quiet hour (4PM), so the place wasn't very busy. Really nice selection of all kinds of food that seemed fresh and they kept replenishing pretty regularly. The coconut shrimp was the stand out here, definitely had way too much of it haha. Would come here again just for that! The unbreaded Buffalo wings were also surprisingly pretty good! (Avoided the fried ones). Beef and broccoli was actually probably the best I've had from a buffet style spot, piping hot and actually really good. The crab casserole type dish was pretty solid too, something I haven't tried before. Make sure to load up on broccoli and green beans! Will be back next time I'm in Riverside for sure! read more

This place needs to be shut down by the Health Department. The 'clean' plates were dirty with residual oil, the carpet is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting and the food is not appealing or appetizing. What is worse is the fact that a server was recycling drinks into pitchers and removing full drinks from departing patrons putting them on a side table to serve as refills to existing customers. My family and I witnessed this with our own eyes and took video of it, as well as video from the venue which was re-wound upon our complaint, and to prove what we had seen to the manager at the front desk. They attempted to deny the acts, but once confronted with proof, they finally acknowledged what they were doing, apologized and stated that they were not going to do it any longer. I can only hope that the confrontation was enough to deter them from this disgusting behavior, but I highly doubt it. read more

This place is used alot for graduations and after church functions that I have been to & I've went even on my own. Every time has been really great even the food is good esp for its price. The thing is they have ran out of certain food sometimes but it was always a different thing they ran out of everytime I've went. It does suck tho when it's something you look forward to.
