Listen, my family and I have been going to this buffet since it was "NY Buffet". We have always liked it , the food has always been good. But recently, the food has tasted bland (and for some reason dirty ). The silver wear is also dirty. BUT the one thing that I cannot stand is the waitress DEMANDING a tip. How? How could they go wrong? Happy Buffet is a war on Christmas, my friends. Inside is fine, there are indeed numerous hotline styled items. But everything, and I mean, EVERYTHING was either neglected, dried, or questionable in its presentation. Crusty chicken skewers, abysmal stuffed crab, watery 'salmom' baking under lights, dried sushi; with an odd assortment of foods no one asked for: Ceviche, chicken nuggets, hot wings, and fried plantains? Everything that was meant to be cold, was luke warm. If it was expected to be served chilled, it was bathed in ice, within the container. And if it was meant to be hot, it too, was luke warm. Guys. This is my first time coming to this buffet and from my first experience I can confidently say I will never come back! Firstly the service is terrible!! We came to celebrate my uncles birthday so we had a big party as we were waiting for the rest of our crew to get here one of the employees started to argue back and forward with another one of her coworkers causing a scene complaining about us and how we were taking up to "much space" It was embarrassing we felt very discriminated. If u could rate this place a zero I honestly would. My family and I when to the buffet this Friday afternoon we noticed some of the food tasted hard. Like their rice for example the egg rolls had a funny taste. An hour after we got home my kids my husband and I got sick. We threw up the food and had really bad stomach pain. We ended up getting food poisoning from this place. Until this day my stomach has not been able to go back to normal and with really bad diarrhea. I will not recommend this place to no one. WORST PLACE. The food that you don't eat gets taken back and put in the trays. The drinks you don't drink get poured back in. (I found straw paper and food crumbs in my refill.) The waiters just stare at you if their not busy. When they are busy they will avoid your table and not give you refills. Once you pay the bill, the waiter begs for more tip that they don't deserve. When I was there, they had two different types of wontons, steamed buns (nothing inside), and some steamed rice thing. They have a salad bar and a small sushi bar. I love high-quality sushi so I couldn't bring myself to try to the sushi bar. I don't think it would've been that bad though. So do try it if you want! There's some non-Asian food, such as pizza, steak, churro, and mac & cheese. There is also this pastry with meat and cheese inside. It was delicious. They also have soft-serve ice cream with sugar cones! The ambience was okay. There are a lot of families so there is constantly little children running around. You have to watch out for them when you're holding your plate full of food! I got a booth near the door, which is near this little game. This was my first visit here. It's a solid average Chinese buffet. I enjoyed the atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of dishes. The fruit was very good. I think they either need more powerful heating lamps or they need to move the ones they have closer because the food is technically hot but only just. By the time I made it to my table, which was relatively close by, my food was surprisingly cold for the short amount of time that had passed. It was actually kind of weird because the tongs were hot as hell. Maybe some air conditioning was smacking my table just right or something. I had read other reviews before going and assumed that one complaint about the bathroom was exaggerated. Well, it wasn't. The men's room was pretty awful. The bathroom floor was filthy, everything was covered in graffiti, and neither of the urinals flushed. All in all, I give this place a 3/5. It's not terrible at all. The staff was relatively friendly, the atmosphere was positive, the food was averagely decent, but the bathroom was a nightmare. I can confirm it does smell like sewage backup (they really should just get this fixed) and also if they removed the carpet throughout the restaurant and put some nice tile, it'd change the cleanliness vibes overall. read more

I have NEVER in my life been more disgusted by a restaurant, I wouldn't even leave a star if I had a choice. This place is the filthiest restaurant I have ever been to. It started with the restroom, I was greeted by the smell of sewage walking through the hallway which is concerning because you can't tell where exactly it's coming from and the kitchen is across from the restroom. Bathroom was absolutely COVERED in grime, pictures attached. Trash, EVERYWHERE. I immediately walked out disgusted and someone I walked in wifh went to complain to management and ask that they clean the restroom. All they did was say okay and I waited for them to clean it but when I walked in after they supposedly had cleaned the restroom it looked exactly as pictured below. They literally just went in there and grabbed any trash off the floor and called it a day. Absolutely unacceptable. Reports were made to the county of health but in the mean time I wanted to warn everyone. DO NOT COME HERE! They do not care about your health, clearly as even after several complaints were made they continued to do a half ass job on the bathroom. Plus the restaurant itself is disgusting, the seating areas are on carpet COVERED in crumbs, dust and dirt. I don't think anyone has even cleaned that carpet in MONTHS. The price/value ratio is on par with 4 stars. I would give 3.5 if I could, but I always round up. Servers are quick with the refills and taking away used plates. Our particular server was very attentive and when I dropped my spoon twice, each time she was ready to replace it. Typical American-style Asian food for a cheap price. So if you curb your expectations to what your paying, you can enjoy yourself here. My favorite dish? Surprisingly, the mushrooms. The mocha cake is also the best.
