It's a bit overhyped, decent food, friendly staff Sausage Bread Nutrient dense bread, it was boring and dry by itself If you dipped it in the Peanut Butte (made in house and is a bit crunchy) or the Orange Marmalade, it's way better. But i'd rather just eat the PB by itself. Carmel Peacan Roll Great sauce, roll was ok, it was fluffy but drier than I would like, you HAVE to dip it in the sauce Braised short rib Tender juicy and flavorful, roast potatoes are just fine

This was my second time to Hell's Kitchen. I got the pear and ham crisp with chips and queso as my side. Everything was great. My biggest complaint is that the cup the queso comes in is too small to fit a normal sized chip, very odd choice. This place has a really cool vibe and a huge menu. We were there on a Saturday afternoon so we caught the end of the Bloody Mary/mimosa bar. It's so cool and definitely worth the price as it isn't much more than just one regular drink.

Stopped in for dinner while in downtown. Longer wait than expected due by only a few servers, but got great service after being seated. Ordered the birria tacos on the server's suggestion, which as flavorful, had a generous portion of beef, an a rich dipping consommé - much thicker than others I've had. Came with a side of tortilla chips and queso. Would have liked a hot sauce or salsa for a little spice but it was still good.

First things first folks...this is NOT a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Different Hell's Kitchen. Different universe. No shouting. No beef Wellington judgments. Relax. I stopped in for breakfast on a whim and immediately fell in love with the place. It's quirky, playful, and clearly leans into its own personality rather than trying to be something it's not. The vibe alone makes it memorable. I ordered the "Jolly-Quiles," their clever spin on chilaquiles, and it was absolutely fabulous. Paired with a Bloody Mary that was excellent and one of Buddy's Orange Sodas, which somehow tasted like pure nostalgia in a bottle...outstanding. One small curiosity: they open at 7:30am, but alcohol service doesn't start until 8:00am. Not a dealbreaker by any stretch, just a mildly strange choice for those of us who believe brunch beverages are a lifestyle, not a suggestion. Bottom line: fantastic breakfast, fun atmosphere, and genuinely great food. Pro tip! Do NOT leave without buying the peanut butter to take home. You'll regret it if you don't TRUST ME!

    Caramel-Pecan Roll-great for sharing

Visited 12/7/25. Been long awaiting a brunch at Hell's Kitchen since hearing about their giant Bloody Mary/mimosa bar. While we didn't partake in the bar on this occasion, it was something to see (very busy though-be prepared for lines getting into it and a bit of a wait). We came here for brunch and then followed this up with a visit to the Christmas market at the old Dayton's. We coincidentally were there on the day of a Vikings game + holiday season so it was BUSY. We had made a reservation up front so that helped and the team there definitely handled it as well as they could and worked to get food and drinks out as quickly as they could. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, while my sister got the omelet special of the day, my mom got sides of eggs and bacon plus a caramel pecan roll to share. Highlights: -Huevos Rancheros-best item by far which we all agreed on. It's whopping and delicious and the salsa on it was delightful. I didn't get any of the add ons like avocado or meat but those would be great options. In my opinion it was so good already and didn't really need them. -Peanut butter-probably why they sell this to go as well. If you like chunkier peanut butter, this will be for you. Couldn't warrant spending the slightly steeper price for a to go jar but one dollar cheaper and I might've cracked Pretty good/solid: -Caramel roll-would be good as a shareable but would be really sugary for one person. Definitely a bit more of a chewy exterior-loved the pecans! Other tips/tricks: -Parking is going to cost you, as it always does downtown, but there is a ramp next door to the restaurant which is convenient if not a bit more expensive than any kind of meters in Mpls.

I had a great time here after work getting some appetizers, a hot cocoa and enjoying the Christmas vibes of the restaurant! I got the queso dip, the Christmas cookies and a hot chocolate! It was definitely a warm and inviting vibe- the cookies were all delicious and queso was a usual appetizer hit! Definitely get the chance to come here during the December time to view all the great decor they have! The staff is also super attentive and gave us great service

Stopped by for their Christmas vibe and it was definitely a vibe!! The lights, decor and overall charisma of the restaurant is definitely worth noting! Great place for a hang out with friends, coworkers or family! Service was great! We had people check in on us and offer great recommendations for food and drinks The lemon ricotta pancakes were great! Definitely lemon-y but not overwhelming. The ricotta is essentially not detectable which is nice! Pancakes are fluffy and moist, the berries on top are fresh and juicy! The ham and pear crisp was also great! The bread was flavorful, the cheese was melty and light, the pear was sweet and savory and the ham tied everything together! Not Spicy at all, very rich in flavor! My friend ordered the fish and chips and she finished it so it must have been good!!

It's been a handful of years since I have been back! Went out to celebrate our 40th Birthdays as a group and this was the place everyone agreed together on! Perfect timing of year to have cheese curds and artichoke dip to start followed by who doesn't love a good Chicken tender meal... let's be real sometimes... you just want tenders!! Great place to take cute pictures and a good time with friends! Def need to go back when maybe they have some music going on!!

I love this place. We don't come often but when we do the mahnomin porridge is a MUST for me. I could eat it daily. Their peanut butter is lick the spoon/knife worthy, so also a must try. The hubs had a smash burger with, you guessed it, peanut butter, and pancho fries. Love how this place carries their branding/message through their signage, the menu and decor. Bonus- Nicholas David was there for FANTASTIC brunch entertainment.

I was a bit apprehensive about this place, I am not real religious, but the name definitely threw me, especially since it was Halloween weekend. This place was great, the food was great. Our server was extremely personable, they certainly showed me a great time, I live in California. It was a nice walk from our hotel. This was definitely a bucket list, and if I lived in the city I would definitely go back

We came for the brunch! But we stayed for the awesome band and Ambiance! Employee owned and it shows, our wait staff was awesome! The food was so good! Bloody Marys were very good too! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Everyone I talked to about having gone here would say it was "meh". All I can say is... order the right things. Everything I got was stellar. Highly recommended -- the poutine. Add some birria, and it's golden. The cheese curds with their spicy jelly is something I keep thinking about. I ended up with the French dip on recommendation. It was very good. Some people said it's better for brunch... but hey, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially when topping it off with the warm pecan roll. :) Cocktails... they could be a little better. I don't care much about the theme of this place but do appreciate that it's employee owned. Getting in there, going down to the basement... all of that added to the intrigue.

Does this place offer bottomless mimosas/bloody marys?

No, they do not offer bottomless mimosas or bloody mary's. They have a bar that costs $9.95 for each drink. There's a jacked-up bloody mary that's another $7 where you can make your own with a large variety of sauces and things.

The latte came garnished with rose petals and was not too sweet. It was a nice way to start my meal. Then came the sweet potatoes, and oh my God, I think they were the best sweet potatoes I've ever had. They were unbelievably, delectably sweet and cooked perfectly. They had an excellent char while being soft on the inside. And the sweetness was complemented nicely by the maple chili crisp, which had just a bit of a kick. The bison skirt steak tacos were also delicious. The bison was so tender and juicy. Full of flavor and cooked superbly. My server wasn't kidding when she said the tacos were big enough to share between a few people. I ate the tacos by myself, and I was beyond stuffed. Alas, I wasn't a big fan of the spoonbread. The flavor wasn't bad, but I didn't care for the texture, which was a little too coarse for me. The dessert was gluten-free, and I could REALLY tell. It was also too spicy for me. The spoonbread was drenched in hot honey. But the sweet potatoes, tacos, and attentive & friendly service more than made up for it. The restaurant isn't cheap (especially for a solo diner), but I've seen worse prices for worse food. And I'm eager to check out their new location the next time I'm in Minneapolis. There is a lot to say about this restaurant, and most of it is very good. The ambiance had perfect energy. It felt lively, but never loud or overwhelming. It struck a really nice balance for a special night out. You could comfortably enjoy the experience and conversation. The service was exceptional. Not just friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable. Every course and every pairing was explained in detail, and the staff clearly knew their craft. Service - they absolutely delivered. We chose The W.C. Whitney Menu. I had the Premium Wine Pairing, which was excellent and very well done. My wife chose the Temperance Pairing since she does not drink alcohol. This was one of the few disappointments of the evening. Many of the drinks were designed to mimic the taste of cocktails and wine, while my wife does not care for the taste of alcoholic drinks. When it came to the food, there was a range. Some dishes were truly outstanding and worthy of Demi's reputation. Some were good but not exactly great. And honestly, a few were mediocre. With a tasting menu, you expect some variation, but at this level and at this price, mediocre does not cut it. Here's what it really comes down to. I would rate the experience itself 5-stars. But the cost of the evening did not come close to matching what was delivered. I was not looking for, or expecting value! We spent over $700 for the evening. Demi is very good. We were greeted at the entrance, jackets were taken, and drinks offered while we waited. The waiting space was small and a little awkward but it was fun to get serve right away with a friendly bartender. Seating is around the small, intimate bar where you observe the chefs preparing every dish for the night. The servers are shared so you don't get just one person for the night. We are not wine people, but I'd still recommend doing the wine pairings ,which is an extra add on. It was really fun to learn about the different wines and how they tasted with the plates. There is some down time in-between courses but nothing ever felt too long. It seemed like a perfect time to converse and enjoy watching the chefs do their thing. It took about 2.5hrs to finish our nine course meal. The courses were so tasty! I was a little nervous because of previous reviews but we really felt like every dish was put together nicely. We were so impressed with how intricate each dish was and how many ingredients came together. A favorite was the wagyu ribeye. Just so delicious. Yes, I wanted more, but it was about trying small plates and things you've never thought you'd try before. I was full and buzzed by the end of it. I also really appreciated getting the menu at the end of dinner. The whole time I was like what the heck did I just eat? Now, I can reflect on it even more. You are seated next to people but there was plenty of space where I didn't feel like my privacy was invaded. Everything about this experience felt intimate and well put together. Such amazing talent and delicious meals put together right in front of us.

There wasn't anything I didn't like except dessert was not included in our meal so for extra $ we did split one and was delicious They did send me home with some mini coconut macaroons which was a nice touch Ambiance - was lovely sitting at the counter, restaurant was full but not crazy loud for a Saturday night! The menu changes seasonally so I'll be back in the fall to try that Parking- free street parking If your looking for a high quality tasting menu book here
