I want to say that I've been here solo at least two nights and still recommend highly. Friday night, I came around 8 PM and had attentive servers. I was able to enjoy a drink and I was able to sit down and enjoy a book in the meantime. It was nice to see a rooftop bar not in DTLA closer to me. It was pretty hip, and would definitely invite friends for a nice cocktail. They have a decent drink menu and food menu and I was able to try a few different things. They also have heaters and lights for the evening time. Parking is limited if you're not at the hotel, but there is neighborhood parking which isn't too far. Unfortunately, I am removing one star for my Saturday evening. I went on Saturday night for a sunset and dj session since I enjoyed the Friday evening. However, Saturday night, I unfortunately didn't get the same service. I waited about 30 minutes for a server and had to flag down multiple times to get a drink and my water. I never got my servers name and I was going to order another drink, but it took about another 20 mins to flag down a server. The food and drink were still great, but it was disappointing since the servers were busy and rarely checked on me. I still will return, however, larger groups closer to the bar will likely receive better service.

What an awesome place to hangout and in SGV right next to Santa Anita Race Track and the Santa Anita Mall.... Great food, the potato tacos were awesome!!!! Great drinks and a great crowd for a Saturday Night Staff is very attentive and great music from a local DJ. What more can you ask for??? The place got packed as the night went on as well. I plan on coming back again soon!

Came here with my besties for a quiet evening chat and catch-up, and it was the perfect spot. Hipico is located on the rooftop of the new Hilton in Arcadia, overlooking the Santa Anita racetrack with the San Gabriel Mountains in the background. Golden hour here is beautiful -- the sunset alone is worth coming for. Everything was very pleasant, but the highlight was definitely the service. Our waitress was so welcoming and had the warmest smile, which made the whole evening feel even better. For a rooftop bar, the food was surprisingly delicious. We ordered a lot: Caesar salad, grilled octopus, flatbread, chicken wings, tortilla chips, and cocktails. The Caesar salad was so good, the octopus was beautifully plated and tender, the flatbread was crispy, the wings were crispy and tangy, and even the tortilla chips were great. The cocktails were also very tasty, especially their espresso martini drink. Arcadia and the San Gabriel Valley really needed a modern, trendy rooftop spot like this. It gives a little West Hollywood energy, but with SGV warmth and humble, friendly service. I'll definitely be coming back more often.

It was pretty busy when we visited but glad we made a reservation and had a great booth right by the heat lamps. Both the drinks and food were really enjoyable. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, queso fundido flatbread, chicken wings, and fries, and everything turned out great. You can tell there's effort put into making each dish and drink. Love checking out rooftop bars and would love to come back to enjoy the view during the daytime for some sun/sunset!

Came here for a yelp elite event! got to try some amazing food with my friend and take cute sunset rooftop pictures. The manager David was super nice and made sure we had a great time! We tried the Chips and Guac, Octopus, Ceviche, and ended the night with some champagne and cheesecake! Would recommend visiting and vibing here!

I found this place by accident while attending a card show at the hotel. I stopped by the lobby bar for a drink and noticed there was mention of another bar, so I asked the bartender about it. He told me there was a rooftop bar upstairs and suggested I check it out. While heading up, I also noticed someone setting up for live music in the lobby bar, which already gave the hotel a really fun atmosphere. The rooftop itself was beautiful, with amazing views overlooking the Santa Anita Racetrack. It was right around sunset, and the scenery was starting to turn gorgeous. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay long enough to fully enjoy the sunset because we had to leave, but even the short time I spent there was worth it. What really stood out to me was the service. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive. I was there by myself, and the staff kept checking in to make sure I was having a good time, which made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The Dodger game was playing on the TVs at the bar too, which made the vibe even better. I definitely recommend checking this place out. It still feels like a hidden gem, but I have a feeling people are starting to discover it and it's only a matter of time before this place is packed.

Attended a private brunch event. Beautiful modern venue with views of the mountains. There are bar seating, loungers, high top, and normal table seatings. There's a covered area and open air space with umbrellas. Perfect spot for brunch and lounging. Just opened in January 2026! Awesome addition to the SGV rooftop dining scene. Free parking in the lot.

Absolutely beautiful and such a lovely view!!! Beautiful cocktails, and the food was really delicious and came out quickly. A little bummed the shishito peppers weren't available but the great service made up for it. Would love to see some DJs up on the rooftop with some sexy vibes some day. Will definitely come back for the food!! Especially for summer!

Went on a Saturday night as a walk-in and had a great experience from start to finish. The vibe was already solid when we arrived, and things only got better once we were seated. Our server, Ariana, was super helpful with recommendations and clearly knew the menu well, which made ordering easy. They checked in at the right times and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. At one point they even turned on the heaters when it got a bit chilly outside. Also had a great DJ playing music !

A friend and I were just looking to grab a quick drink and somehow stumbled upon this hidden gem and wow, what a find! From the moment we got there, everything exceeded our expectations. The drinks and appetizers were absolutely phenomenal, so flavorful and beautifully presented. They had a DJ playing, which really kept the vibe fun and lively without being overwhelming. It felt like the perfect balance of chill and upbeat. Taylor was our server and truly made the experience even better super attentive, friendly, and really knowledgeable about the menu. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, David, who came by to introduce himself. He was so kind and personable, and we really appreciated that extra touch. And I can't forget the views absolutely spectacular. If you're thinking about going, definitely time it for sunset and grab a drink. You won't regret it. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Great atmosphere, drinks and desert. Not many options in Pasadena, other some dive bars. This is the only trendy, cool spot without being uptight. They had a live DJ but they close at eleven on the weekends. If you a tequila drinker, they had fortaleza, don fulano and other additive free options.

It's great to see more rooftop bars popping up in the SGV since there are so few around. This is a really nice spot to catch up with people over drinks. The cocktails and the space itself are visually stunning, and they have plenty of outdoor heaters if it gets cold, which is a big plus. I also like that it's located at a Hilton, so parking in the structure is easy and stress-free. The cocktails are a bit on the pricier side, but they make their own infused liqueurs, which makes it feel worth it. I could definitely see this becoming a go-to hangout spot for locals. I'd absolutely come back here every once in a while when I'm in the area and craving a well-made cocktail.

After waiting for 20-25 minutes, the staff provided me samples of all the flavors if you are a first time comer. I ended up getting the mango sago and ca phe sua da (coffee) with toppings for ~$11. The mango sago tasted like a mango sorbet while the ca phe sua de had a nice bold bitter coffee taste. Both flavors had a texture similar to frozen yogurt rather than traditional ice cream. Although the flavors are unique, the long line and price point might be off putting.

6/7/2026 First time…read moreat Warabimochi Kamakura. WARABIMOCHI 12 PC MIX (2 FLAVORS) 6 PC KINAKO, 6 PC MATCHA The warabimochi is very soft and jiggly. Softer than boba, soft like jello, yet has that chewy, gooey texture. Not my favorite texture, but glad I tried it. I just saw that they had black sesame flavor too, but I was in such a rush, I must have missed it on the menu. Comes with a little bottle of brown sugar syrup, which is rich in brown sugar flavor and quite sweet too. When poured over the warabimochi, it does only taste like the brown sugar syrup. I would recommend that you eat the warabimochi with ice cream. I didn't order any at the store, but ate the ice cream I had at home. Choice of ice cream was Straus Family Creamery's Vanilla Bean. It didn't overpower the warabimochi flavors of the matcha or kinako, it simply added more creaminess and additional texture to the dessert. Also, you can get a firmer texture when you put the warabimochi in the fridge overnight, which I thought was much better and enjoyable to eat. HOJICHA CLOUD Very good hojicha flavor. But mostly it is cream. Hence, the name Cloud. I got it 100% sweetness and I asked for warabimochi pieces added to the drink. They give you a boba straw to drink. Warabimochi was very soft, light chewiness, cut into smaller pieces. The drink was very slightly on the sweeter side, but it's that or 50% sweetness level. There was a lot of ice in it, which means there's less hojicha drink too. Got it in medium size. Small size and medium size cost difference is 0.75 cents. Best to get a medium size. There's also a large size, which is much bigger in comparison to the medium. STRAWBERRY MATCHA CLOUD This had a good matcha and strawberry flavor all around. They also added warabimochi in this drink too. The matcha is a cream top and the rest is strawberries with milk. It tasted good and not overly sweet. This was 100% sweetness. Personally wished there wasn't any warabimochi in it, but it automatically comes with the drink. Did not realize there would be any in it too until after I ordered it. I would reorder the drinks. Maybe order one without warabimochi though. I would try their other drink offerings too. I haven't tried their black sesame warabimochi, so might return to try that one. CUSTOMER SERVICE Good, friendly customer service. Only two people working. Warabimochi came out first, then the drinks. Everything came out in order and quickly. LOCATION Located at Santa Anita Mall. First floor. At the food court. Across from Zumiez and Shoe Palace, Daniel's, Game Stop. Just follow the Food Court sign and you'll find it quicker.
