I used to love this place and would go out of my way to drive there but the last time we were there they messed up my order and I asked to have just one bagel changed from everything bagel to plain since it was for my kids and they refused and say I had to take all my bagels like that!!! I was ok with the rest of them I just wanted the one for my kid to be made on a plain bagel since my kid won't eat it like that!!! For tea and service, this place is 5/5! I tried the jazzy jasmine iced tea (and went light on the sweet coconut cream after inquiring about flavor/sweetness) and it was so DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back. I also happened to try one of their sandwiches (roast beef on baguette with cheese and pickles) but I found it to be heavier than I prefer. Flavor was pretty good, but maybe something fresh or green to break it up would have made it great. Definitely will be back though for more tea and to try more food. read more

I had very high expectations coming into this place. My cousin has been coming here for years and has always said great things about it. I decided to finally try it out. I was feeling on having something more on the sweet side and decided to go with the caramel crunch frappe, the person who took my order asked me if coffee was okay with drink and I said yes, after all, that is what I was looking for on my visit!.I also ordered a small vanilla frappe for my daughter. Upon receiving my order it was quite a big portioned drink with a ton of caramel and whip cream, seemed promising, although the drink looked extremely light colored for a drink with coffee. I took a sip and it tasted like vanilla, which was odd as it had no coffee or caramel taste, I also took a sip of my daughter's drink and it tasted exactly the same, except for the fact that mine had caramel, clearly it did not contain not a bit of coffee or any caramel flavor- it tasted very much like a vanilla milkshake. I informed the same gentleman who took my order that I believed he gave me the wrong drink and he stated that's the way it supposed to be and that the "caramel crunch has no actual crunch", although I did not mention anything about the crunch. I just took the drink and left as I really did not know what it's supposed to taste like, however, I'm positive it had no coffee. I also asked another lady at the counter what was the price of the merch they had, and she said she did not know and said she thinks it's $25, such a weird response from someone trying to sell something. It actually discouraged me from even buying the sweater. I wish I could have had a better experience on my visit, I do really try to support local shops in my area. read more

The tea was notably healthy--which I greatly appreciated--but was still delicious with the right amount of sweetness. The tea was so flavorful that it could easily replace my want for coffee. I drank their Toasty and Nutty with coconut milk and it tasted like a lightly creamy dessert with a little sweetness and softly roasted nuts and almost buttery like kettle corn. First time trying this place , let's just say don't waste your time money or taste buds . When I asked if they could remake my drink because I was so unsatisfied with it because it literally tasted like water the guy working behind the counter said " that's fine but I'm going to charge you for it " Like seriously the drink tasted so bad and I felt bad for even being honest that it tasted like pure water For him to not even consider modifying my drink . Where do I start?? :) The chai tea here is PERFECTION!! :) This is my favorite drink here so far. Especially during this cold season. Something warm is always pleasing. The cold brew coffee here is really good also during those hot mornings in the summer time or just in general. The Lavender tea is another favorite one as well. I have yet a few more drinks that I need to try because they all sound so good. The customer service at Hojas Tea House is great and the staff is always really friendly. This is a nice place and I enjoy the ambiance. My sisters, friends and I come here a couple of times during the month just to get our fixed on teas and the cold brew coffee. Tea's are full of flavor and truly better then Starbucks. I find that they taste more natural and less full of chemicals. I love the peaceful lavender and Masala Chi both cold. Great tea, poor service. I came in today to order a chai tea, I waited almost twenty minutes for my drink. Two people who came in after me received their food and drinks before me . I figured maybe my tea was brewing . Then I noticed the girls behind the counter started chatting , that's when I approached them about my drink . " oh I'm so sorry " my drink was sitting right next to where they were chatting , I feel this was done to me intentionally . The servers/ cashiers even made eye contact with me several times before I approached the counter . In none of those occasions did the workers acknowledge me waiting or stopped to ask me to at least tell me " were working in your drink " " or have you been helped etc" things you would expect someone with great customer service to do . Their breakfast tea was lovely, I wanted more! But they only have discount refills for hot drinks, not their cold ones. I just came from next door at the Nashville chicken place wondering what did they have here I could keep my tongue from burning and I had the breakfast tea. I also happened to get another tea with lavender, which it's still a taste I had to acquired in order for me to like it. Been here a handful of times, Ive had a variety of drinks and baked items. The drinks vary depending on what your getting, Ive had the chai before and loved it especially with all the extra goodness that come in it, however I was a tad dissapointed that the next chai I ordered with espresso shots didnt come the same way. The tea items are good I love that extra stuff they add to it. The caramel macchiato is so delish! I absolutley love the add ons I believe thats what makes this place stand out more. As for the food and baked goods Ive had bread pudding to ham and cheese crossiants which I didnt like anything in between. Its deffinatley not the donut shop ham and cheese and the baked items wasnt as expected but the drinks are amazing! I've only ever had one drink from here (iced masala chai), but that and the customer service are enough for me to leave a 5-star review! The masala chai is very delicious, with a hint of spice from the cinnamon and cloves. I love how much honey they drizzle on the inside of the cup. The sweetness balances out the chai's spice. And for about $4 for a cup, you end up paying less for the same amount you'd get at Starbucks or Coffee Bean. The inside decor is cute, but the place is small. Only a few tables and chairs but every time I've gone, it never seemed too hard to find a place to sit. They also post their WiFi login on the wall, for any students or patrons that want to do some work there. The girls I've seen there are friendly and pretty knowledgeable of the menu. read more

This place is so rude. I called and spoke to Jessica after I placed an order online. They didn't have the drink that I ordered so they called me and offered to change it. If I wanted something else then I would have ordered something else. She was so rude and useless I didn't even understand why she is working there. She claims that my refund should appear in my account. Then she asked if I have the mobile app after I asked her if that's really how soon a refund will reflect into my account. Hojas Tea House is AMAZINGGGG! My go to is the Primrose Bouquet they'll make it either hot or cold and either way it's GOOD. They use loose leaves for the teas and even flowers so their hot drinks have a filter spout. Which I thought was so cool! They also have pastries and light lunches as well as coffee.
