This hooters was the only restaurant open during a late night looking for food. The clam chowder wasn't too bad and the 10boneless wing and fries combo was a good deal. I would say that the clam chowder was pretty good surprisingly because it was served at a bar that's primarily known for wings and drinks. The server was quite helpful and was able to give me options on the wings; you can actually choose more than one flavour for the wings! I went with 5 honey bbq and 5 garlic and it was alright. To be fair, coronavirus ruined most restaurants because no one can recoup their good servers. I'll also save her the embarrassment by not putting her name, but damn. Worst service yet. This review is 2 parts. The food is one and the service is the other. We'll start with the service. It was flat out great. We had an attentive waitress that was quick and came by periodically to make sure all was well including beverages. She was great and I'm sorry i forgot your name. Ok now onto the food. Good lord the wings were greasy. I've had Hooters before (about a year ago different location) but I do not recall the breaded wings being so greasy. We did an order of 20 Hot and about 15-25 minutes later our stomachs were queasy. It's been almost an hour and half since we left and we still do not feel 100%. The last observation was the kids there. How the hell can you bring kids to a bar with waitresses in their Hooters "uniforms"? Are there noooo other food/wings options in that area?? It's a flat out bar people. Kids who are not in H.S. yet should not be in there. We saw a 4-year old being sung to there tonight because it was his birthday. Sad. Maybe it's because my beer goggles were off for the first time? I dunno... but the food just wasn't very good this past weekend when we were in. Hooters has my favorite wings, hands down. It's worth tolerating the dumb-as-rocks waitresses to enjoy said wings. However, this last time, EVERYTHING was cold. The wings, the fried pickles, the tater tots... blech. Our waitress warned us as she put the plates down "careful now, everything is really HOT". I didn't heed her warning... and ended up with a lukewarm mouthful of food. Unimpressive. Hooters wings you either love 'em or you don't, but I"m one of those that are in-between. I like the ones that are not drenched in sauce and oil, but there aren't many of those when the platter is brought out. Our server Christine, was very tentative and friendly, but I found it to be a bit odd that she opens up all of our ranch/blue cheese dressing and pour the beer from the pitcher. We're not at an upscale restaurant for the waitress to have to so. It's a nice gesture, but having been to a few Hooters and having this happen the first time made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Compare our 1 order of fries to another table and something is wrong. our table of five had 1 order, but we got ripped off because the table of two that also had 1 order got double the amount! My wife and I walked in at 8:45PM on a Tuesday. According to their website, they are open till 10PM. We saw a sign saying that they do not do walk-ins. So we attempted to book a table online. My friend who hates Hooters will never agree too go with me. I love the wings and Buffalo shrimp! So tonight I convinced him and we decided to order take out from this location. Hooters is Hooters! Good wings, moderate priced and so so drinks. But then again no one says "let's go to Hooter's for drinks". Chicago native and travel frequently at the nearby airport but this was my 1st time ever stopping in. Cool Sunday afternoon in Feb. plenty of people but was able to be seated quickly. Good service but I don't remember the waitress checking back after the food was brought to see if I wanted to add anything. That is a must for any great server. I had the 10 shrimp (steamed) and 10 wings. Both were hands down good. Fresh taste and flavorful. I'm much closer to the Chicago location and make that my go to but I would certainly go back to this location. One thing they have over my usual location is parking. Can't beat that. read more

This place is so frustrating. I ordered food Togo with a 21 minute expected wait time. I got my food after almost 50 minutes. The kitchen staff was lazy (lots of standing around) and there was only one manager visible who looked lost running back and forth in the kitchen almost aimlessly. The togo staff was polite but told me about 5 times that my food would be ready in "a few minutes". Do not go to this hooters if you don't have free time to spare. Came to this restaurant after the Wolves game and to celebrate a birthday. We got sat at table 11. It took them 10 mins to greet our table. Another 10 mins to receive our drinks from the bar, which we saw sitting there the whole time at the bar well. Then placed our orders. Food came out in a timely matter but the food was horrible. Not enough sauce and where cold. Fries where not cooked all the way and also where cold. Service overall was terrible and food was terrible. Spoke to the manager on duty tonight, told him what was wrong with it. He said ok let me go look. After about 5 mins we got our check. He didn't comp anything off the bill and we also got charged an 18% auto gratuity. Another that one of the ladies from our table went back to talk to him. He came back with only $25 off the tab. Mind you we had 8 ppl table with 18% added was $367. So when he comes back told us we ate most of our food, totally incorrect. And that most he was able to do was the 25/26 bucks off. I said at least take the 18% auto off due to the service and horrible food. Not worried bout paying for the the bad food. Says he couldn't due to the system. Overall you don't treat customers that way and you don't just brush off a situation like that. I've been in the industry for 20 years, prob the worst experience ever with a manager at any restaurant. Of course New Year's eve is going to be busy, but (as I ordered on uber eats) after an extra 30 minute wait for 20 wings and some sauce (the driver had been sitting outside the restaurant for whole time, on top of the 15 minutes estimated, so a total of 45 minutes to this point), I called to get an idea of how much longer the wait would be. First, I was hung up on. Second time, and I didn't get a name, the girl was very short and rude with me. She had the biggest attitude I've ever heard from a waitress anywhere, but probably young so... whatever. Wings were good, though I only received 10 out of the 20 I paid for. In my opinion, Hooters chicken wings taste better in the Chicago area than they do in Northern California... I would say the staff at this location is not as friendly is they could be compared to the Schaumburg location, so worth the extra 15 to 20 minute drive if you have the time... I have been to this restaurant a few times in the past and the service has always been mediocre, to say the least. This particular day I had a chance at hope when the waitress Bria serviced our table a few weeks ago at lunch. Hooters are usually hit or miss, but this one is hit for the food and miss for the service. It's not unusual to see the co workers chit chatting in a circle with no care to the customers at this location. However, my last encounter with the waitress Bria exceeded my expectations. She made sure my coworker and I had adequate refills, gave us enough polite chit chat, recommended some of her favorite items to my coworker (she eats the same thing every time and will not listen to me) and made us feel very comfortable. This experience made me want to revisit in hopes if Bria's positive attitude rubs off on her coworkers. I'm so irritated. We ordered for pick up. Of course they forget to put in one of the dishes we paid for cause we paid for the food FYI. We call for a refund on the dish not the whole order. They stated that they would give us a credit for the next time we come in...Um...We don't live by there. So next time we are around there we have to hope they remember their mess up. My baseball teammates and I just won a turnament and wanted to celebrate so we decided to go to our favorite restaurant. There were easily 30 of us and the wait to sit down was about 5 minutes. The service there was great as usual and the people are nice and fun to talk to. It's definitely a family-friendly restaurant that supports the working women. The menu has a pretty widespread variety of options but you wouldn't be doing yourself justice if you don't order the boneless wings. I highly recommend this restaurant as their prices are reasonable and the service is spectacular. I will continue to come and support the people who work here. I am unsure if Jasmine's cat died before she came to work... Or her boyfriend/girlfriend broke up with her.. but here are a few reasons why she should not work for Hooters and your franchise should step it up.... seriously First of all.. When we walked in the door we were not greeted properly. Just FYI. The girl seemed rude... But I decided to brush it off, whatever... Not a big deal. We were sat and she walked away. I would just like to point out that I was a Hooters server/bartender for about six years Michigan / Vegas and it was such a fun job to be apart of. I like coming in to take care of the girls (tip them well and be an easy table for the day)... when I worked at hooters we were pushed to take our job seriously and took pride in having great customer service skills, fresh food, AND most importantly to make women and children feel happy and welcomed to be there.. you should know that. This restaurant, however.. made myself and my friend feel like an inconvenience... to say the least. Manager didn't table touch once. But I'm pretty sure by the looks of the customer service skills of our server the managers probably don't really care about their job either. The food was OK... The wings were cold and way to breaded in my opinion. Oh well it happens. During our meal we were never checked on to see if we needed anything or if our food was tasting good... And I believe it says "two minutes two bites" in the manual. But maybe they changed that to "wait until your table is done with their food to check on them"... Came in yesterday, Sunday, for dinner with my boyfriend. It was a little past 6:00 and it was pretty packed. We were told that the wait would be between 15-20 minutes and thankfully that wasn't the case!, we were seated in a booth in less than 10 minutes! Perfect! Now I should mention that my boyfriend and I have been coming to the O'Hare location (separately) for years upon years! We both love HOOTERS, no joke, Obsessed. We both moved to the West Loop and have since lost touch with HOOTERS O'Hare. So needless to say, this particular visit was kind of our way of getting in touch with our past love for the place. First, the service was great! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive, it was busy and she was obviously busy, she definitely got the job done! Thank you! Unfortunately everything else kind of fell short for me! However, my boyfriend loved everything! He went with a 20 Piece Hot Wings and an order of Fries. I went with a 20 Piece Buffalo Shrimp 911 sauce, Side Caesar Salad, and Fries. We waited quite a while for our food, nothing new, we expected it! The only thing I didn't like was the fact that our food came out COLD - Colder than usual! My boyfriend didn't mind, he was hungry... I on the other hand, it was a little disappointing. My shrimp came out cold and the breading was extra soggy! I was ok with it being extra soggy but the fact that it came out COLD just threw me off! Even the fries came out a little colder than usual. Seriously?! Personally It was kindof of disconcerting that our Bill came out to $100 just for the two of us. The wings were to spicy to eat so we threw them out. The order came with no condiments, no napkins, no utensils. Or dipping souse for any of the wings we orders. They all say for the wings. ((I'm convinced it's some rule in the man's code of conduct...)) Somehow, I just don't find the wings, the food, or the service THAT great. It's average. But perhaps I'm missing something. Prior to my new meatless diet, I would occasionally visit Hooter's for some boneless wings on my lunch break. Especially on "Wings-day". ((On Wednesdays, for $5.99 you can get 10 boneless wings and fries...woot!!)) Depending on the mood, I would usually go for the Medium Chipotle BBQ, Honey Thai Chili Pepper, or standard Medium sauce. Sure, they have pretty decent wings, I won't dispute that. I just never found them anything to rave about. The Lotsa Tots and Fried Pickles are also worth the extra calories if you're in the mood. In terms of the rest of the menu, I haven't ventured out. Not mention, they offer a lot of seafood items and burgers, which really aren't my thing. I wouldn't rate service as being top notch. It's hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is at lunchtime, and how attentive your waitress feels like being. But overall, if you're in the mood for wings, Hooters isn't a bad option. We had to wait for a table but I didn't mind since the bar area is usually where all the magic happens. . . The bartender wouldn't let us start a tab because "people sometimes walk away." Um, OK. I didn't shower that day but I didn't think I looked like THAT much of a scumbag. Wait, silly me. All I had to do was look to my left to see some fine examples of beer-stealing perps - three WASTED, middle-aged dudes hitting on the Hooters waitresses. One even said "Tell that bitch to back up" under his boozified breath. That "bitch" was me. REAL classy. I wonder why he was at Hooters on a Sunday night alone, with two other dudes. Hmmmm? After a 20 minute wait we left those obnoxious losers behind and sat down. The menu is pretty much what one would except - lots-o-wings. But alas! They added fried pickles to the menu? VERY cool. Some of the BEST fried pickles ever. You can quote me there. We ordered hot wings and non-breaded wings (in some attempt to be healthy. I do not recommend this. If you're going to "go healthy" Hooters is not the place). Those regular, breaded hot wings were right on target. I also had a mango margarita - tasty indeed. The place is full of rude servers who will ignore you most of the night. I sat in front of an empty mug, which I got from the bar before being seated, for at least 10 minutes before our server decided to stop by our table. And this is before we even ordered anything. One of our friends came late. The server didn't even notice for 15 minutes, because she hadn't stopped by for 15 minutes. This is still before we ordered anything. So after waiting and hoping for the server to drop by our table, we ordered 4 dozen raw oysters, full rack of roasted carolina style oysters, some chicken wings, buffalo shrimp, fries, mexicurly fries, and a few other things. Everything came out late. We devoured our food and drank a few more beers and left. A couple of days later, we all came down with a horrible sickness. We had the chills, upset stomachs that kept churning, diarhhea, nausea, weakness, headache. I honestly thought I was going to die. We all figured that it was from this Hooters since we hadn't eaten together since then. Luckily, we all got better in a few days, but it was so horrible. Easily thee best chain based wings around. Though theyre supposed to be famous for the eye candy wait staff..its pretty hit or miss. But thats neither here nor there. Honestly I think Id probably rather not have a smoking hot server anyway. So I dont have to worry about looking presentable when they check in on you while youre stuffing your grill.
