After visiting Jack Binions for the first time this past Saturday I wanted to make sure I left a review while it was still fresh. I go to Vegas pretty often and I usually try to hit a good steakhouse when I'm in town. This being the newest Caesar's property steakhouse we were looking forward to visiting and it definitely did not disappoint. First and foremost service was excellent which is not always the case in Vegas. Our server was super attentive and not a moment went by without him checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Now for the food. Starting with the seafood tower, it was super fresh and good bang for your buck. It was the perfect amount for 2 people and at $110 that's a very fair price as it had oysters, jumbo prawns, lobster, Dungeness crab and ceviche. For entree we went with the crispy potatoes and Bloody Mary salad for sides and I had the 16oz ribeye. Sides were delicious and not just an accompaniment but actually stood on their own as very delicious, I would even get the salad as an entree. As great as the meal was my only complaint was the steak was very undercooked. I requested medium with a slight pink and my steak arrived rare. No biggie as I just asked them to cook it a little more but having to wait as my date finished wasn't fun. Other than that it was a great dinner and I really enjoyed the restaurant ambiance and overall vibe. This review is for Jack Binions Steak, located inside the Las Vegas Horseshoe Hotel/ Casino. I saw the reviews were very mixed on mainly the food but I gave it a go. Made a reservation, got there and was promptly seated. My server Juan is excellent! He explained everything and provided some suggestions. I decided on the 16oz Ribeye & Hash Brown Casserole. He was right, that casserole can be shared by 3-4 people easy! I asked for the steak medium, it came out nice and juicy, didn't need much effort to cut. I was stuffed but felt great. The total w/ tax before tip was about 110.00. For the relaxed atmosphere, service and food, give them a try. P.S I got there at 5pm, so not sure if that affects the food? Shouldn't as the price point means they should hit it out every time. read more

First timers and locals ! To start I would say the gentleman at the front was very polite and were sat promptly , and I would say a server showed up quickly and she was very polite as well. She was really knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. On to the food we both enjoyed a NY strip which were seasoned very well. There was no need for a steak sauce at all. Ok, so we had Oscar's Rockefeller first 0/10 taste burnt and just not good. Next was queen cut prime rib cooked medium rare. Not bad, the au jus and cream horseradish was the star. Meat was just ok so 5/10. Signature baked potato w 6 flights of sides was 8/10. Would have a better thought in the baked potato if they didn't serve the bacon as it is so overly fake Smokey it just ruins it. Espresso Martini was the end of the meal. 4/10. It's fine. I have better, and I've has worse. Save your money on that drink. Over all 4/10 for this place. read more

Went here after watching a YouTube vid that gave the restaurant glowing reviews. Well....do yourself a favor and check this place our! Laidback, Rat Pack, Old Vegas vibes. Great selection of drinks including choices for retro cocktails. We had the shrimp cocktail app, the Bloody Mary wedge salad, Jack Binion baked potato and the Filet Mignon and the Ribeye with coffee and crème brûlée for dessert. Whew it was all worth it! Everything was prepared and seasoned PERFECTLY. We were happy with absolutely everything and can highly recommend this fantastic steak house. We will definitely return! Everything exceeded our expectations at Binions Steak. The restaurant is as were all the restaurants that preceded in this location. The service was impeccably top-notch. We sprung for the chef's experience and were not disappointed. Many Chefs are not very outgoing so as we've seen in some other restaurants the GM fills in for the best customer experience. He spent a surprising amount of time visiting our table and sharing Jack Binion's history and many interesting facts about the restaurant and its location. The Caprisa Salad was the best bite of the night with fresh mozzarella and fried tomato it had such an unusual and delightful flavor. The steak was prepared perfectly and will compare to all the top steakhouses in Vegas. Finished with a fine dessert cake and coffee. The martinis were outstanding. My wife's dinner was very good, she had the Black Pepper Cream Shrimp and really enjoyed it. I had the 6oz Wagyu Rib Cap and for the price of $89.95 I was really disappointed. I ordered it medium and it was more like medium-well and it was tough for being Wagyu, if it even was Wagyu. We were celebrating a special birthday and they knew that but no one gathered and sang, we weren't even offered a small "special occasion" cup of ice cream or b'day cake or anything for the amount of money we spent including drinks and an appetizer. Had the prix fix dinner. All of us like the onion soup and it ended there. The prime rib was good on the inside but it was so hard to get past the crust of salt around the outside. The potatoes were inedible because they were so salty. And then the server was salty too when we sent it back. Funnily enough, the bananas foster for the dessert could have used some salt. It was just disappointing. Certainly not worth the price. The servings are way too big for a 3 course meal. Highly recommend getting individual dishes and sharing, or probably just going elsewhere. Had a pretty fantastic solo meal at the bar on a not too busy Thursday night. Larell the bartender made fantastic suggestions (I am not usually a prime rib guy, but he pushed me towards the blackened (yes, blackened) prime rib, and cooked medium it was a real game changer). The smoked old fashioned cocktail was decadent (and Smokey. Actually Smokey). The carrots were like a dessert. The bacon was the second best I ever had...and that's saying a lot. Second only to Peter Lugar's. Everyone at the bar made friends, and we were never without attention from Larell, Rob, and Edwin. So much of upscale Vegas has slipped post-Covid, but the service, food, and ambiance was nearly everything we could have hoped for. I used my 7-Stars comps so of course it was all affordable, but if you are looking for an upscale steak house in Caesar's properties....this is about as good as it gets. Had a great chat with GM Jon, who made everyone feel at home and had tremendous insight about the restaurant industry in Vegas. While I would have loved to bring my wife, she was stuck on the east coast, and my solo experience was anything but awkward. This would be a great date night though. Only gripe: no bread. The restaurant's previous incarnation was a steakhouse called BLT. BLT was a 7/10 and Binion's is a 9/10, based on my one meal. BUT BLT had these amazing popovers. Binion's has no bread option. Sure, it's a loss leader, but at this level of service.....it's as expected as cloth napkins and polished silver. (And those popovers were amazing). Overall--I will be back next time I am in town. First, I only went here because I was supposedly been having a $75 food comp. However; I never received it so I end up paying out of pocket which drastically changes my view & opinion of a place. It seems like a nice lil quaint place to have dinner. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular but it was good. I'm not sure it was even fresh and I wonder is it was wild or not. If not; it was so not worth it. I saw the steak and some of the prices and considering I love Ruth Chris(dislike their new Mgmt ideas); your steaks better be on point. I think the steak was too price! Over $90? It's hard to view Horseshoe as a high end Hotel & Casino and yet this is suppose to be a high end restaurant? That don't match. I thought the prices would be Vegas prices but not this steep! Sides were $17. Again; the Casino reneged on my $75 food comp which was part of my room offer. Otherwise; Ruth Chris would be a much better choice for cheap. Then; as I was trying to get guess services to explain the situation; some white guy, looks like the Mgr or whatever; said nothing the whole time and then he want to make lil wise funny jokes, I assume, to the cashier/server that was assisting me. I could afford it; but I thought it was real foul on me not getting my $75 comp. This place may be nice for someone that don't want long lines; get something quickly but I don't know if I would come back again. I really don't. I heard a famous actor; refused to pay $60 for a steak and said that was too pricey! Imagine paying $90 for a steak! That's pricey. Yeah I rated this place 3; because I couldn't do 2.3. I ate at the bar and Robert was the bartender when I was there and he was phenomenal!! They have a great prime rib and you can get it blackened!! Went there on a Wednesday evening had the Prix Fixe menu which consisted of your choice of caesar salad or french onion soup, a 12 oz prime rib and for dessert either a cobbler with ice cream or bananas foster with cookies and ice cream. A LOT of food and very tasty. The French Onion Soup was excellent. The Caesar Salad was just okay but what I liked was that the leaves were whole so it seemed fresher and more subtantial. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. The dessert was surprisingly HUGE...not complaining just sad because I was so full from the main meal we couldn't finish everything. We did take everything to go. It's just we're visiting so we couldn't heat up everything as we would've preferred. Oh I forgot you get choice of sides and I chose the smashed potatoes and my husband chose the brussel sprouts. There was enough to share. At first a little skeptical based on the entryway and being sat close to the kitchen door. I tried the chocolate espresso martini and also was interested in the tiki drink - I actually got to try both. The chocolate martini is similar to a mudslide you might get at tgif but has a shot of espresso making it sort of a warm martini (I wasn't prepared for that) and would have preferred for it to be cold. But the tiki punch was very yummy. We also tried the Caesar and the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp cocktail presentation was probably the most over the top I have ever seen. A tower like display with the sauces and horseradish on the bottom tier and the shrimp on a cake of ice seaweed lemon and other herbs frozen within. It was a beautiful presentation. The shrimp was plump and large but just a tiny bit on the tough side and had a fairly powerfully seawater aroma. The Caesar was nice with different than the usual romaine and also a very elegant presentation- although the overall dressing was ok. What really impressed me was the smashed potatoes which the explained is boiled, baked then deep fried and smashed with side of chimichurri that was really good. The filet was also flavorful and tender. Our server Victoria was nice and efficient! The desserts were ok but still nothing too over the top. Well I wish I could have said this was a great experience but the only good thing I can say is that the person at the front entry who greeted us what super nice and respectful. But let's get into the 1 star review after getting seated at our table about mid way into the restaurant at a very nice little spot we were greeted by a very annoyed / angry server who was apparently having a bad day was being very pushy to rush us in and out. We decided to ordered 2 smoked old fashions that happen to be the most mediocre and generic tasting drink nothing but the presentation was worth anything about the drink then we finally move on to our food we ordered 2 ribeye steaks one was ordered medium but came out well well over done and the other ribeye was a medium rare but came out well done but very dry thus making us order house Steak Sauce ( Bbq Sauce) and also Red Wine Demi ( burnt red wine bbq sauce) also ordered the pepper Jack Mac and cheese (dried out and more like Monterey Jack with no flavor) and also ordered garlic mushrooms (tasted like water boiled mushrooms and some butter at the end with mince garlic added) also smashed potatoes with the smallest amount they could physically give you of the chimichurri. At the very end decided to order the gambler which was decent but very very forgettable just like this very very over priced meal that was supposed to be top notch or five star quality meal after spending the $540 for meal including decent tip. We REALLY wanted to love this restaurant! We went on Mother's Day at 7:30 pm and the place was empty. That should have clued us in. We started our meal with two martini's which were $25 each! We only had the one drink each. We then had a bacon appetizer which was about four pieces of bacon. We shared a Caesar salad. My husband ordered a small filet with a baked potato. I ordered the salmon with roasted mushrooms. No dessert for either of us. The service was good. But the food was average at best. The filet was tough and chewy and my salmon was incredibly dry with no sauce, lemon or anything. We felt it was an average meal compared to most of the "high end" steakhouses in Vegas. BUT the kicker was the bill! We expected to pay good money for a good meal but this meal was NOT worth $420. They need to step up their game or they won't be there long. Went here for a birthday celebration and was very disappointed. The only thing that was alright at this place was the service. Food was not worth the price whatsoever and simply was not good. We ordered a 14oz New York steak and it was so small we were not convinced that it was actually 14oz and we have been to plenty of steakhouses across the city. Additionally, we asked for steak sauce because it did not come with the entree and were charged 8 dollars for it! I have never been charged anything for a small side of steak sauce that should come with the meal and like I said we have covered a lot of steakhouses here in Vegas. Also ordered the salmon and the black pepper shrimp and were not impressed with either entrees. Overall, extremely disappointed and would not recommend. read more
