I drove down from Santa Monica a few weeks ago to get a Covid-19 vaccine and, in the parking lot, noticed my (fairly new) car was leaking. I thought having this checked out and repaired at almost 4 pm on a Friday (so that I could drive home safely) would be an enormous headache. This was the first service place I found, and I really lucked out. Farrell checked out my car right away, diagnosed the problem (a loose oil cap), and took care of it immediately. I've always gone to a different place for oil changes and this specific jiffy lube is by far the best I've been to. Let's me explain. The older guy that welcomed me was very nice (I didn't catch his name though). He then asked me if I wanted regular or synthetic oil and I believe regular oil is what others have always put in my car so I then said regular. He realized that my car should only be taking synthetic and he insisted I use it. I refused. The disappointment look in this man's face just shows how mu ch he cares not just about his job but also about his customers vehicle which what makes this place one in a million. I recently started it taking my car here for oil changes because ite fairly close and convenient for me. However, I'd much rather pay more for better service. Most of the employees dont seem too interested in their job and are constantly like teukdn to upsell you on other services that you probably don't need. I had them change my cabin filter at my last visit. Well it's been about 6 months and decided to do it myself. I pulled the other one our only to find it smashed inside the compartment and rendering it ineffective. This an incredibly simple procedure but they screwed it up big time. How is that possible? This place is amazing. I live in Irvine and still drive out to this jiffy lube to get service done. Everyone is so helpful and they are very honest. They have never steered me wrong and sighed when to get service done in the most cost effective way. I have never felt the hard sale for service I don't need and they FAST. This review is overdue!! I usually go to my dealership to get my oil changed but kept putting it off so I stopped here at this location. I went about a month ago and was greeted very nicely and professionally by Carlus. I was able to stay in my car the whole time and he directed me into the shop to get an oil change. He checked out various things on my car and recommended what I should do that day and what I need to keep in mind for my next visit. He also discussed what things were going to cost up front which I totally appreciated because I hate being hit with an unexpected bill at the end! Due to a couple problems with a employee at a local Jiffy Lube, I decided to give this location a try. Right when I drove up the lane was open, immediately I was flagged down by Jonathon who guided me in. The man right away greeted me and asked how he can he help me. Just got a new car about a year ago and didn't know what kind of oil should be recommended for my vehicle. He right away analyzed my vehicle and mileage and let me know my best options The bad taste in my mouth from the other location was gone almost instantly working with this man who made me feel so welcomed. I came by and asked if they did Uber inspections. They said no and were very rude about it. I went to the other jiffy lube that was like 10 mins away and they did it for me they were nice and very assertive. Would not recommend this particular establishment! The friendliness and quick service of their whole team was amazing. Thank you guys for always taking care of me and my car. The wonderful Manager at this Jiffy Lube always takes care of me to the fullest extent. I love him I get in right away and he always tells me what I need to have done but never push us. This trip I got new windshield wipers along with my oil change and new air filter. Lots of discounts applied also. I would highly recommend this location. They truly take care of you.
