The gentleman who i didnt get his name asked if i had a coupon. My vehicle was leaking a substantial amount of oil after my last oil change. I discovered the tech had reinstalled my oil drain plug without the washer/seal. My local Toyota dealership provided me with 2 washer/seals free of charge, so I could resolve the issue myself. But the drama continued when I found the drain plug was installed so freakin tight to the oil pan that I really struggled to break it loose. Very amateur oil change service from this Jiffy Lube that caused oil stains in my driveway and additional frustration I don't need. Luckily no engine damage was caused. My family's vehicles will no longer take a chance with service at this particular location. read more

Got my car topped off by David for monthly maintenance. Jiffy lube top offs and all are free between oil changes. I'd recommend coming here to do your oil changes. They'll double check everything for you and give you realistic recommendations. I'm not sure if their oil change inspections come with rotating tires also though... Customer service. What is customer service? Is customer service grabbing keys that scratch and putting them directly on the cars paint? When I was a kid and someone stepped directly on my brand new white sneakers on purpose, that did not feel good!!!At this location Justin grabbed my car keys and threw them on the car. I have never seen that be done until now. Normally a mechanic,or someone who washes your car has the courtesy to put your keys on the tire. Why would they put keys on your tire? Because your tire won't get scratched like your paint will. Joe was the nice employee without me asking that saw that action by Justin. Joe grabbed them quickly and took them off of my paint. My car is brand new! Another mechanic grabbed my keys again and put them directly on the paint again. I confronted Justin, asked him if it was normal for him to throw keys on people's paint. He said yes. I said if my car was a Ferrari or some type of luxury vehicle would his actions be the same, Justin said yes! I couldn't believe it, and Justin quickly said he would put them on the paint, the tire or on the front window. So out of those three options Justin, which is best? Hmmmmmm? Can us paying customers choose an option before you decide??? Manager came out. I expressed my frustration . The manager said he couldn't do nothing about it, but he said it was normal. Quickly he changed his mind and said he was sorry for that. I recommended to him to never do that to anyone. NOT COOL! Joe was the only employee with common sense and was courteous. The only reason I gave two instead of one star was because they serviced my car internally well. Hopefully! read more

CAUSED OVER 10K IN DAMAGES TO MY CAR AND AFTER OVER A MONTH OF DEALING WITH CLAIMS THEY WONT GIVE ME MORE THAN $400. I need to share the situation to avoid this happening to anyone else. I brought my BMW X3 in here and left with it being towed. They double filled my engine oil and drained my transmission fluid, causing me to spend $800 replacing that fluid and need a new transmission (at least $10,000). The service center at BMW has proof of what they did and they will not even give me a call back. These people do NOT know what they are doing and do not care if they ruin your car. Double filling my oil alone alone could have destroyed my car had it not broken down the moment I left from them draining my transmission. He told me "it's because my car wasn't reading the oil level properly" - first of all they should know that my car needs to drive before it updates and should also know the proper amount of oil to put in my car. I too change my own oil when I can. I come to Jiffy Lube for convenience, to get 30 minutes of my life back in exchange for a few $$. They do a passable job: oil is new, filter is new, and nothing leaks. In 20 minutes you're off doing more important things. They will try to upsell you initially - most oil places do. It's business, and I can appreciate that. I didn't feel any pressure after I said no. If anything, just say you'll take care of it yourself or your regular mechanic will. Go when its busy because they'll be more concerned about cranking through the lineup rather than occupying a tech and space flushing your transmission. They do preventative things like belts, just make sure they can show you the reason they're wanting to change it out. Be a smart consumer, otherwise their recommendations are usually good for the vehicle anyway. David is the man and the place runs like clockwork when he's around. read more

Last week was informed of a tail light out in my car, three days later, I checked and both my tail lights were out! No bueno. So, I began to change them myself (after buying the tail lights for 5 dollars at O'Rileys) and realized it'd take me more time than I wanted to spend changing them out. I went to this Jiffy Lube at about 8 am and brought my laptop as I had some work to do. I had a coffee in the waiting room and only about 15 min later (not enough time to do my work!!) they were done. I kept getting told 'no problem' and 'don't worry about it'... it took me a little bit to realize they'd installed my lights free of charge. (This is after getting a quote of $12 per tail light yesterday). Despite my being way busy getting ready for a move and having a head cold, these guys took some stress out of my life and were friendly and fast. Way exceeded my expectations! I came to this Jiffy Lube based off the reviews on yelp and I overall had a good experience there. I came for just an oil change and with that they are supposed to check a few different things for you (lights, fluid levels, etc) There was no wait when I came and I was done pretty quick but when I received my receipt it has a service checklist of 20 items. On that list it says it did things that they never did (vacuum floors, check wiper blades, check lights, wash windshield) it makes me wonder what other items are they supposed to be checking under the hood that they don't check? #Integrity read more

Needed an oil change so I decided to give jiffy lube a shot. This was my first time here and the experience was great. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Took my car in around 11:30AM and got out by 11:50. These guys are awesome. They inform you on the status of your car (fluids, breaks, loose parts, etc) and give you recommendations on what you should replace/change. They actually refilled the fluids to my car for free of charge! I like the fact that they don't try to sell you anything or waste you time. All in all, the oil change came out to be $24 with tax using a coupon I had received. Definitely will be coming back for my next oil change. read more

David is awesome! Took my car to this location for the first time, had a oil change and my air filter changed. It only took 30 min. He applied a coupon I forgot to bring with me, no problem. He also gave me ten dollars off my new air filter, which was the same price ($17) as it would have been if I had bought it online. However, the low stars are for our return after initial oil change completion & driving off with no hard copy (due to no ink)...checked email on cell...no receipt sent. While doing errands 10 plus miles heading up north on the freeway the LOW oil light on our dash came on. We immediately drove all the way back to Jiffy on Newport Blvd. Farrell was accomodatimg... added another quart... now wondering was the oil actually changed, why was it low, did they forget to put in more oil... too many unsure questions as anyone would be worried the synthetic oil or blend was not correct...or what... doesn't make for confidence in the oil change. It was a bit faster than usual...but did they not put back enough oil? ...we have used many Jiffy locations with 5 star reviews. This one unfortunately should be zero stars...but Farrell was very professional in his attitude, a couple stars for his courteous deamenor. read more
