    California & Egg Burrito
    Michael G.

Wanted to support a new business in the area, while getting bae a breakfast burrito and decided to stop by this spot and give them a try. The reviews scared me a little but I had already committed and I must say, I was not disappointed. I ordered us two California Egg Burritos and both of us were very pleased. I loath sour cream and they clearly labeled my burrito. Ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. My only suggestion is get a good red or green salsa to pair with their breakfast burrito offerings, would go a long way but our burritos did have pico de gallo, so they were fine. As soon as I walked in was greeted warmly by the young lady working the cash register. One of the line cooks even took the time to greet me. Inside it kind of reminded me of a truck stop diner and there seems to have been patio seating at one time but doesn't look like it's being utilized today. All in all it's clean inside and really, isn't that all we need from a dining room? All in all, very pleased with my experience here.

My new burger spot in Long Beach. I've passed by this place for years and finally tried it a couple weeks ago. I've been exploring the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. My favorite is the chili fries and the best in Long Beach. Their chicken tenders are hand breaded, and prepared fresh, not frozen. And their French fries, they are very well. Their oil never tastes old either. The Jr Western Burger combo box that includes tenders and lots of fries and a drink. I couldn't even finish all the fries. The pastrami looks good, and I'm going to try it next.

Again, I honestly don't know why the bad reviews This is a no thrills place, nothing fancy at all, just some great guilty pleasure food They have parking in the back but it does fill up fast. They also offer a drive thru. Don't be upset that it takes more time than McDonalds or Taco Bell. It's all made there on the spot They offer a few tables inside The ladies here are so sweet. It got to a point where my mother and I would always run in here for a fast lunch and they all recognized us and asked how we were doing. So customer service is great They also have a HUGE menu with a bit of everything. My go to on cheat days is usually just their cheeseburger and fries (they have great chili cheese fries) And my mom's go to is always the chicken teriyaki. They used to have a few other items we loved. But I noticed over the years their menu has changed a bit I'll always be a loyal customer here

Its a solid burger and the shake was delicious. Price was proper and the taste isn't out of this world so nothing to drive a hour for, but you won't be disappointed. No ambiance there that I particularly want to n eat inside for, I definately drove through

Amazing food It was my first time having this place I had a burger and man oh man was it juicy and delicious. I got zucchini fries and onion rings, I love everything The service was non existent because it was delivered but I'm sure it's great and the ambiance was in my room lol

I'm disappointed that I've slept on this burger joint throughout the years. Jim's Burgers is located within the heart of East Side Long Beach on 7th St and Euclid. My aunt was raving about how great their charbroiled burgers are so we stopped by for lunch today. This establishment offers the usual convenience of drive thru, dine-in and phone orders. We decided to dine in today and the advertised poster on their window caught my eye; a box combo that includes a Jr Western BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, 2 tenders, a side of fries and a drink all for 13.99. Though they offer various box combos on their menu all for 13.99 I was immediately sold on the previous box mentioned and both my aunt and I opted for that combo. The cashier that helped us out provided great service and was kind, helpful and accommodating. The final price of my combo (with an additional thousand island sauce for 75 cents) came down to about $16 which is still a bargain in my eyes considering it is a generous portion of food. Though the dining area is small and offers minimal seating it is very cozy and up-kept. After about 15 minutes the cashier brought us our meals and even went out of her way to provide us extra condiments, I didn't get her name but shout out to her! Now onto the food! My Jr BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger was heavenly. The charbroiled seasoned burger melted in my mouth with every bite. I absolutely love charbroiled burgers and Jim's is definitely a runner up to the infamous Louis Burgers on Atlantic ave. The fries however were just average in my opinion. The tenders were tasty but not as juicy as I would've preferred; nothing special but great for a quick bite. On my next visit I'm definitely giving their chili cheese fries a shot and I'll most likely opt for the larger Western BBQ Burger as the burger alone was a 5/5 for me. Overall I'd recommend Jim's Burgers to anyone in the area in search of a quick and tasty charbroiled burger!

It's a small drink, only 1 size but under $6

I needed my burger fix, so I went to Jim's drive-thru for their 2 for $9 Double Jr. Deluxe Cheeseburgers. They were both tasty and worth having again. I'd like to try some of their boxes and chicken sandwiches. I also appreciated how their menu is clean and easy to read. The service was friendly and prompt preparing my order during my second visit.

This is the chicken fingers and double Jr cheeseburger box meal, came w a 22oz drink. About $16ish bucks w tax. Two meals for one price!

Great food, I'd advise ordering at the counter instead of online, it's about $4 more per meal if done online.

Are their fries gluten free? I'm not concerned with cross contamination. I'm just wondering if they toss the potatoes in flour or anything before frying. Thanks!

Hi Jeanette, our French fry’s are fried directly in oil and then seasoned in our own blend of seasoning salt. We have been using the same potatoes, frying oil, and seasoning recipe since 1986. 100% gluten free!!

The pineapple added to what's basically a Cuban style sandwich sounds different at first, but it works perfectly. The balance of sweet, savory, crispy, and smoky was spot on. Ended up finishing the whole thing because it was that good. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and the whole spot had a really chill local vibe. Definitely a hidden gem if you're in the area. Highly recommend this place and I'll for sure be back to try more off the menu.

I got the 10-inch chopped cheese combo. The sandwich had a few positives: good amount of beef, tender meat, cheese melted in well and the bread was genuinely great. Soft, chewy, flavorful and easily the best thing here. Everything after that started falling apart. The sandwich was rich and oily but didn't have enough seasoning, acidity or heat to balance it. There were faint hints of cumin and the salt level was fine, but overall it tasted like it was trying to coast on grease. The lettuce and tomato added nothing, and even the cilantro sauce couldn't cut through the oily aftertaste. If you do try it, add onions, pickles and jalapeños because the base sandwich badly needs backup. The fries looked good, then delivered absolutely nothing. Barely seasoned, smaller portion than expected and somehow had a weird burnt aftertaste despite looking normal. That takes effort. Service was the real disaster. The person helping me acted annoyed, like customers were an unfortunate side effect of running a restaurant. The menu board shows combo pricing for some items, like burgers, but not sandwiches, so the chopped cheese combo pricing was unclear. The drink situation was ridiculous. The board says $2.99 for a 24 oz drink and the soda machine was right there, but I was handed a 12 oz can with no heads-up that the machine wasn't available. That's not a substitute. Full size promise for a half-size reality. For $22.03 total, that made the whole combo feel even worse value-wise. Food took almost 30 minutes and it felt like my order sat around until it was convenient to bag it. I only got it when another customer who ordered after me was being helped. Add the flies hanging around the napkins and surfaces and this started feeling less like lunch and more like a health inspection waiting to happen. Parking is rough too since it's on a narrow, busy intersection, though there is paid parking across the street. Overall, the bread was great and the sandwich had potential, but potential doesn't carry bad service, bland fries, unclear pricing, a drink downgrade, a long wait and flies. If the food was amazing, maybe some of this could be overlooked. Nah, too many atrocities happening.
