Ive had Jollibee here and there growing up and having it after such a long time it still taste great. I ordered the spaghetti with the 2 piece chicken joy and enjoyed it. I am Filipino so it might be biased. The spaghetti is sweet and taste amazing and has little hotdogs in it. The chicken is crispy and juicy. I got it to go and after driving 20 min back the chicken was still crispy. Definitely one of my more favorable fast food places to go too. Havent had it in a while but the mango pie is something you need to try. read more

While visiting TX, I ran across Jollibee, lately I've been hearing so much about it, I had to stop to check out the hype. I ordered the family meal 10 piece spicy chicken bucket, mashed potatoes, fries, and rice. The fried chicken was tasty, cooked fresh/hot. I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy. The fries and rice were trash. The fries were not crispy and the rice had absolutely no flavor. As far as the service it was fast, the workers were not very friendly, basically subpar fast food service. I feel like it's just another fast food chicken place on the lines of KFC, Bogangles , and popeyes... I will say I do like Jollibee chicken best but not a fan of the sides besides the mashed potatoes and gravy... and my family was in agreement of my opinion Would I go back sure but I don't believe it lives up to the hype i've been seeing! read more

If you care about food safety at all, you may want to avoid this place. They lost our pickup order for 20-30 minutes before finding it sitting out on the counter, not under a heat lamp, at room temperature. The actual manager himself refused to remake the food stating that it was 'still warm'. Still warm is not the same as safe to eat. If this is the attitude about food safety directly to the customer when in clear violation, I don't even want to know what guidelines are being ignored behind the scenes. For the record I have been food safety certified and temped the sandwiches when we got home. They were in the food danger zone. read more

Finally found a Jollibee here in Texas. The fried chicken here is so good and crispy. It goes perfectly with the gravy and side of rice. My spaghetti that I was really excited for came out cold so it didn't taste good, I was disappointed. Sauce wasn't as sweet and flavorful as I remember. Must have been an off day for them today. First time dining in, as we usually go through the drive thru. Anyone else find their menu confusing? I come from CA, so I KNOW this menu. We couldn't decide so we asked for a bucket of thighs and drumsticks half spicy/half regular. Once the bucket of chicken entered our car the aroma began to entice us. I can't believe we made it home with out grabbing a piece! Each spicy piece is identified with cute little spicy flags. The heat was very minimal. The regular was delish. It reminded me of the homemade fried chicken my southern aunts used to make. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The legs and thighs are larger than what you get at other chicken establishments. They also give you spicy brown gravy should you be a dipper. Definitely worth a try m. I'm usually not over on this part of Plano, but when I saw the Jollibee, I had to stop and try it. I've seen this on on Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain. My understanding is, that it is to the Philippines what McDonald's is to the US. If you talk to anyone who is Pilipino, they recognize the name instantly. I was told that there are only 2 locations in Texas (the other is in Houston). I went through the drive through, the lobby is not open at this time. They are having labor problems like most places are right now. It was a long line, but the wait wasn't too bad. I tried the 1 piece chickenjoy with jolly spaghetti. The spaghetti has little pieces of hot dogs in it. I know it sounds weird, but it was pretty tasty. The chicken is kind of bland, but not bad. It's very mild, but actually goes with with the spaghetti. It very much reminded me of lunch time in elementary school (I mean that in a positive way), very nostalgic. Apparently, the star of the menu is the peach mango pie. They are little fried pies (like the Whataburger pies) and they are absolutely delicious! When I ordered one, the lady who took my order asked "just the one?". I'm assuming that most people order several of them. So glad that Jollibee opened a store in Plano. We attended their grand opening on Maui and it was a grand event! Because of the pandemic (and the insane crowds), we waited to visit this new store but could wait no longer. I was southbound on Preston Road and turned left on Alliance (toward the hospital), then made a quick right into Callaways which shares the parking lot with Jollibee. Oops, there were traffic cones blocking all entrances and exits for Jollibee. Evidently, the tangle of chicken lover cars have really annoyed the garden store and have been banished from their part of the parking lot. I had to exit onto northbound Preston and make a quick right into the Jollibee drive through line. While we waited in line, we saw that the dining area is closed. You can come into the building only to pick up an order that's phoned in. We saw a couple enter and return with a food order that could have served our wedding reception. I don't know how they carried it to their car. Anyway, I ordered the original Chickenwich. I've had the legs and thighs but not the sandwich. The full breast was marinated, battered and fried like their legs and thighs. The chicken was tender, juicy and delicious. The breading was seasoned well, crispy and also tasted great. There was a little smear of whitish condiment in the middle of the chicken that didn't do much for me. I would have liked to see a few dill pickle slices, but there weren't any. Even though, it was well worth the $3.99 price. I remembered that the mango peach pie was tasty, so I got one. It was really good, but smaller that I remember. I won't waste $2.65 on another one. My wife wanted to split a cup of adobo rice. It wasn't mixed very well. Clumps of white rice with no seasoning. Most of it tasted pretty good but a little dry. I drove 4 hours just to enjoy some Jollibee, and I'm truly disappointed. I ordered two 12-piece Chicken Joy buckets--one spicy and one original--totaling $50 ($25 each). When I got home, I realized that I only received 6 pieces total for the two buckets, all of them original! By the time I realized it, I was already halfway home. It's honestly a huge letdown, especially since my family loves the spicy chicken. I have been waiting so long to try this. Several people on YouTube have said how good it was and I had very high expectations. I did not like this at all. The rice was very bland except for the spice. The gravy that came with the chicken was sweet and the chicken... while it was crisp and seasoned it was also greasy and wet underneath. I really don't know how the fries were because I threw the meal away. I finally tried this place the other day and it brought me back to my childhood in the Philippines!!! I'm not sure if there is still usually a line to order, but i went at 9am on a weekday and there was no line! :D Palabok: make sure to blend everything well to truly lock in the flavor. Oh and don't forget to add the lemon juice to add a hint of citrus! 5/5 rating!
