Staff was friendly. Coffee wasn't great both my iced and my partners small hot vanilla latte tasted like Milk w a splash of espresso. We did also get a fruit filled pastry that was good but not a lot of fruit filling. Staff and pastry are the only reason it got 3 stars could have rated it a 1 based on coffee alone.

I had an early flight out of PHX to AUS and didn't get a chance to get my caffeine fix before leaving, so I was on the hunt for some local coffee as soon as I landed. I saw Jo's Coffee right before baggage claim, looked them up on Yelp, and decided to give them a try. In addition to coffee and tea, Jo's Coffe also serves pastries and a few breakfast and lunch items. The staff was pleasant and quick. I ordered my go-to, an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon. I thought the latte was pretty well balanced and had the right amount of cinnamon powder and honey for me. It also satisfied my need for caffeine. I'm glad I decided to stop before heading to baggage claim because I had quite a trek to the rideshare area!

10/27/24 Love this little spot. Convenient "Grab and Go" coffee and quick bites: breakfast tacos, sausage wraps, muffins, bagels and more. Also offered with all sorts of drinks: coffee, cappuccino, lattes, chai, americano, cold brew and more. The workers are friendly and cheerful. Lines can get long but service is quick. There's an eatery section conveniently located right behind the stand. I ordered a small chai tea and a breakfast bacon taco. They were the perfect size right before I boarded my flight. Both were yummy!

No napkins in my take away bag, why? A sausage breakfast taco was a big, giant sausage wrapped in a flour tortilla! Gross! Mr CEO, bro, here's a hint. Before you fire yourself, breakfast tacos have egg and cheese! But my banana was good. So there's that.

One of the shorter lines for breakfast at 7am on a Monday, I only had to wait for a few people in front of me. They have a grab and go breakfast burrito/taco with two options: potato or bacon. They do come with eggs and cheese inside and were plump, delicious, and filling at $5.25/each. The coffee was just okay. The cashier was very friendly.

I'm gonna start off with the gorgeous Yasmin, who absolutely helped me with my very indecisive self on finding the perfect cuppa coffee for my super early flight and eight hour shift to come first sip. I took absolute adrenaline rush ready for the day. Woke up as soon as my lips touched the coffee and the ladies at the counter, made my coffee and so amazing like honestly forget Starbucks line went by fast wasn't even that long and if it was even longer, I'm pretty sure it would go by faster get your coffee here. It's absolutely wonderful.

None of the coffee shops are rated very high here, but easy place to grab a quick coffee. They have some sausage burritos and potatoes/egg soft tacos. Drip coffee is about 3.99 for a 12 ounce cup. Burrito/taco is 5-6 dollars. They also have espresso drinks and Cold brew/iced coffee. Small amount of seating nearby and an area to grab a quick cup of coffee and I think pay by phone. Quick, nothing special, may be better than waiting on the super long Starbucks lines.

A solid Three Stars for the cosy branding, quirky merch and the delish original sweet drink (my fave is the Belgian); BUT their Smash Birger is a hard "no" (zero-flavor 'beef' patty between buns that sat too long under the heat lamp), meant One Star so overall a Two Stars.

The iced turbo is so delicious! Comes with chocolate hazelnut and cream. Just what I needed while I worked a bit! Staff were super nice.

I had heard that Jo's Coffee is a staple in Austin, so I decided to give it a try at the airport on the way out. It was getting close to closing time, so there wasn't a line and service was quick and easy, especially for being in the middle of a crowded airport where it can be non-stop lines. I decided to go with the Iced Turbo, which is supposed to be very strong coffee, chocolate, and hazelnut. I have to say that yes it is a strong coffee, no it did not taste like chocolate, and no it did not taste like hazelnut. It was just strong creamy coffee that sugar. It was also a sugary coffee that set me back almost $7. It honestly wasnt for me. I'm not against this type of drink, it just had nothing special to it and it didnt taste like it was described. Safe to say that I was disappointed and I probably wont come back. I'm sure there are plenty of coffee places in Austin, this one just wont be on my list again.

The Belgian- combo of iced Turbo and cold brew.
    Alyse H.

My co-worker told me I had to try a Turbo at Joe's because it was his favorite thing in the Austin airport. The turbo was a little on the sweet side for me, so I opted for a Belgian, which is the combo of a Turbo and cold brew, which brings the sugar content down. It was smooth, creamy, and delicious. My new go-to in AUS!

Founded in 1997 by Chip McElroy, Live Oak was built with a simple idea "make beer for people who actually like the taste of beer." In 2015, Live Oak moved to their current location on a beautiful property along the Colorado River, opening a taproom and biergarten. One its unique features...it's off the beaten path of other breweries. Live Oak Brewing is north of the airport and backs to the Fast Park remote airport parking lot. At first glance it looks like it's a convergence of a fire station and deserted manufacturing plant. The grounds are impeccable...tall statuesque trees, lush green vegetation and an extensive outside biergarten. It feels like you are in a nature bubble. Interestingly, Live Oak Brewing has its own on site 18 hole disc golf course (different from traditional golf) located directly on the brewery's property. Live Oak Brewing's interior has the feel of a German Hofbräu...homey, spacious, and welcoming, with long communal tables that encourage conversation and human interaction. You can see directly into the brewing space, with large tanks and equipment. Also, board games are available if you choose to play. Live Oak is family friendly and dog friendly. In fact, Groot, the owner's dog, freely roams through the brewery drinking area. While I only had sips of beer (not a big beer drinker), my friends enjoyed their beers. Live Oak Brewery Company is a super fun place to hang out.

Creeks is the restaurant in the lobby of that circular Hilton you see at Bergstrom Airport…read more Have you ever driven by that circular buidling and ever wondered what it is like inside? I did that like from the first week I moved to Austin. It was an Air Force HQ at the time. Going inside was always on my bucket list. To write this review, I did just that. The Circular Hilton looks just as cool inside as you think it would. And Creeks restaurant in the dead center of the circle is a fine place. But now that that is out of my system I don't have to go back again. * * * There is some serious architecture inside the Airport Hilton. This will appeal to people like me who love designs in structural steel. (Think about what the Eiffel Tower looks like as you go up the stairs.) In this case, the design touch is single steel pillars turning into quadruple steel columnar pillars holding up a large glass dome with steel divisions between the panes. The visual effect is breathtaking. The visual effect would be even more breathtaking If there were not a stupid hotel bar in the middle of the atrium with a lot of Sports TVs that block 2/3 of the view. But the Hilton people have to actually run a hotel. The overwhelming majority of their customers want to order drinks at the bar, eat a snack or a meal and watch Sports TV. Very few of them want to go hungry while staring up at structural steel in meditative contemplation. My best attempts at meditative contemplation fell woefully short ... So I just tossed in the towel and watched Sports TV. It was an afternoon in the middle of the week so a bunch of talking heads were giving their opinion on a variety of NBA players. Well, they were emotional enough to be entertaining. Some of the video clips were okay. * * * Foodwise, Creeks is not too bad. It is hotel food at hotel prices. I am not sure how well they are set up for kitchen space. (Although most hotels do a lot of catering.) The menu is kept manage-ably small. The prices for the food were slightly high but not disturbingly high. (Foreshadowing ........ I did however have to park my car. You can guess where this review is going to go.) I ordered a plate of nachos. The bar nachos were decent. To justify the mark-up, they were served in a long narrow canoe-like serving dish. The graphic was appealing. The quantity was more than enough for lunch. Even with the large bar-kiosk in the center of the floor, I could still see a good quarter of the roof. So there were things to see when I would get bored with basketball chatter. * * * Remember this is the airport. I had to drive through a gate and get a ticket in order to enter the hotel parking lot. The staff explained that the gate wouldn't be an issue and I could just push a button to get out. Well, maybe I did things wrong. But going to the gate I found that it was going to cost me an extra $12 to get out of the parking lot. That on top of the hotel prices on the nachos. So this was not a cheap outing. * * * The inside of the Airport Hilton is still something to see. The food they serve in the atrium is not too bad. Ride your bike to the Hilton, walk from your house to the Hilton, or take the Hilton limo from the terminal if your flight to Austin has just landed. Driving there and parking is only for people who really really really love lobby-gazing.
