    The family platter.
    David V.

The for was very good, very large portions, one skillet dish is definitely enough for two people. The restaurant was very nice and the service was great. We were celebrating a birthday and we ordered a couple of dishes, one of them being the family platter. Definitely enough for four people. Very large pancakes, lots of potatoes and great scrambled eggs.

Had a cute brunch date with my boyfriend here. We both love Kickback Jack's so much and have been here a handful of times! Today we had the Rock N Cheese Western Burger with the fries and the Belgian Waffle with Chilled Strawberries and the Sausage and Scrambled Eggs. The burger was so good but would def ask for the cheese on the side next time to pour it with each bite. The Belgian Waffle was also delicious! Thats what I had and I loved it. The waffle was soft and the cream on top was sweet and yummy. Both meals were very filling and the Orange Juice was refreshing and perfect. Our waitress was so nice and would check up on us and provided amazing service.

Still have a great time here at Kickback jack's! I wanted to update my review with their most current menu.

This diner has been our family's go-to for years, and it truly feels like a home away from home. They are famous for their pancakes, and let me tell you--they are absolutely amazing! Honestly, everything on the menu is incredibly tasty. While the syrup is a little on the sweet side, and I'd love to see even more syrup choices for the pancakes, french toast, and waffle. However, it doesn't get in the way too much. Because it's such a beloved spot, it can get pretty busy and the wait times can be long. I definitely recommend calling ahead so you can get to the food faster! The service staff is remarkably friendly and warm; they do a wonderful job of staying true to the classic, welcoming diner vibes the restaurant was founded on.

Spicy Bayou Skillet w/ over medium eggs and Santa Fe sauce on the side

Haven't eaten here in a few years. First off, our waitress was absolutely amazing and sweet. She accidentally sat us in a reserved area for a large group and needed to move us. Because of the move, she gave us a free corn bread even though we told her it wasn't necessary, it was a simple request. The restaurant itself is like any diner setting and spacious. Today I tried the Bayou Sausage Skillet. It was good but not amazing. I'm glad I got the Santa Fe sauce on the side because I didn't like it, but that's just preference. The home fried potatoes were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning (and this is coming from someone who complains food is salty). I would get the skillet again for sure but the only other downside is, it says roasted corn but it's canned corn and wasn't really roasted. But over all still a good breakfast.

Parking: Plenty available Ambience: Large and spacious, great for large groups. Lots of windows with plenty of outdoor light streaming in. Open and inviting layout. Front counter with variety of baked goods available. Service: Friendly and patient with our large group! Taste: Got the farm skillet, which was delicious and HUGE. Enough for leftovers / seconds :)

My friend and I stopped by Kickback Jack's in Rancho Cucamonga for Sunday breakfast, and we both left happy and full! We ordered almost the same thing -- waffles, bacon, sausage, and eggs. My friend added strawberries and whipped cream to hers (and it looked so good!). I had two pieces of bacon and two sausages, and she went with four bacons. We both had coffee. The food came out hot and fresh -- everything tasted really good. The waffle was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like it. Bacon was nice and crispy, eggs cooked just right, and the coffee hit the spot. It was pretty crowded since it was a Sunday morning, so we waited about 25 minutes, which honestly isn't bad at all for that time of day. Once we were seated, our waitress was very attentive and kind -- she checked on us several times and made sure our coffee stayed filled. The place has a comfortable, casual vibe, perfect for a relaxed weekend breakfast. Overall, a really good experience -- great food, friendly service, and worth the wait!

My friend and I shared a skillet and two pancakes, plus two orange juices -- and wow, the portions are HUGE! We seriously loved everything. The pancakes were honestly the best I've ever had, and the orange juice was super fresh which made it even better. Our server was the sweetest, always checking in and making us feel so welcome. Definitely one of my new favorite brunch spots!

Great breakfast in Rancho Cucamonga! We come for the dirty burrito with shredded beef and it's so good. Huge portions too! Definitely recommend trying this place.

We had genuinely the best service I've had in YEARS at Kickback Jacks. We had a party of 8 on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. The staff was very accommodating and the waitress was incredible! Everyone got their food quickly and there wasn't a single complaint at the table. And I mean... Just LOOK at the presentation?? I was stunned. Best brunch spot in Rancho or in the IE. Thank you Kickback Jacks for an awesome Sunday!

The KickbackJack sandwich is SO good, tender chicken with bacon and avocado. Omg! I got the onion rings because our waitress recommended them, scrumptious and crispy, so fresh, loved them. My husband ordered steak and eggs. He was happy with his meal. The service was great, our waitress was polite and checked in on us frequently. The ambiance is very family friendly, its nice and chill. They do have mimosa flights but I didn't get to try any this time. The portions are decent for the pricing, I thought everything was good. I had my husband get a side of pancakes, they were huge and delicious!

It did move pretty fast than expected and service was quick. While my husband and I were waiting, we were reviewing the menu. They had a lot of good choices that definitely sounded good for Sunday breakfast, and eventually I settled on the corned beef hash plate with potato's and fruit instead of eggs. My husband saw the chalkboard menu and chose the kalbi short ribs with fried rice and Mac salad. We also added French toast On the side to share. After placing our order, they let us know what seat number we were seated at and went outside to our table. The outdoor patio was very nice, open spaced and shaded well enough that the sun wasn't reaching us. The seats were comfortable enough and the table space was generous for a party of 4 (I know they had tables for 6 and combined tables for larger parties). When our food was brought out and we began to eat, the food had a lot of flavor. I did pick off my husband's plate and have to say everything he had was very good. I have no complaints about the taste or presentation of the food we got, and would definitely check it out again to try something else.

But the katsu was good. The gravy was a little sweet. Overall it was good. My husband had the Hawaiian bbq steak breakfast, I loved it. It was really good. Very flavorful and filling. I honestly loved the mushrooms. Chefs kiss !!! The lava pancakes were super moist and not as sweet, which was really good. I wish they would have put more macadamia nuts for more crunch. Definitely a MUST TRY !! The Hawaiian coffee was pretty decent. Not as sweet. I wanted it to be a little stronger but it was good. They had seating inside and outdoor. Very clean and spacious. Employees kept coming around asking if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Definitely coming back

I did get pink in my chicken. We returned it to the person who brought out our food and notified them the chicken was still uncooked. They came back and gave us even more chicken. You get hints of lemon in the sauce and bombs of flavor from the seasoning and garlic. I like how the Caesar salad is over dressed. Some people don't like it like that. The family meal of salad was a big portion. I enjoyed it. The breadsticks are always good. Dip it in the sauce of the trip tip / chicken. So good! We also got carrot cake. The cake was delicious. Not too sweet. But when you eat it with the frosting it gets sweet. We went on a Monday evening. It was busy because I noticed there was a few big parties in line before us.so it can get loud. With Diane in tow, we were pleased that a large parking lot was directly across the street from the restaurant. And as we entered and were seated in a booth in the bar area, an elegant but understated woodsy ambiance greeted us. Wanting to sample a cross-section of offerings, we began our dinner with soup and salad. Diane liked her bowl of orange-hued Lobster Bisque, and I enjoyed my bowl of hot and angry-red Garden Tomato Soup and salad of Field Greens with multi-colored Grape Tomatoes. Flatbread smeared with Herb Butter was very good, as well. A few Grilled Sea Scallops were warm and sizable enough as an appetizer, in addition to a side skewer of fairly large and tasty Grilled Shrimps. And Diane and I both raved about our chosen entree of Ginger-Sesame Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. The fish was flaky and cooked perfectly--in the league of the best we have ever had. At first I was disappointed that the restaurant was out of requested Tartar Sauce. But it soon became apparent that none was needed. A bed of Rice Pilaf served as a soft base for the fish for me, and Diane had Yukon Mashed Potatoes fulfill the same purpose for her chosen main. Specially requested French Fries were also gladly prepared by the chef. The skin-on variety, they were soft on the inside and okay overall. Throughout the course of the meal we received excellent multi-person service, led by our principal server, Marie. We expect to return for more of that wonderful Sea Bass. XXXX-1/2 stars overall for this initial outing!
