A pretty decent spot for standard Chinese food. The won ton soup was flavorful with lots of good wontons. The combination chow mein was oily, but good, and had some shrimp and pork in it (but not too much), they also kinda skimped on the veggies in there. The honey walnut prawns were pretty good, though they didn't give us too many prawns and the sauce was quite creamy/mayo-y. I work nearby Union Square and my favorite place for Chinese food for lunch was Jade Restaurant on Geary Street. Due high rents they closed down. Leaving with an empty feeling of craving for Chinese food for lunch. I discovered King Kee but at first I was skeptical to try it. Thinking it was another tourist trap. I was wrong. Nice small and clean place with pleasant wait staff. My first plate that I tried was Beef Fried Rice and it fresh and delicious. Then I had the Beef Chow Fun and it was quit tasty, the only problem I had was that it had to much onions. I like onions but not overbearing. Next time I order it and asked for not so much onions. They complied and I was content. I went back a couple of weeks later and had the Beef Chow Fun and the friendly and nice waitress said, " little onions, right" wow I was impressed! Great service and prices are affordable. I noticed that lots to go orders either walk in or online. I recently had the stir fry beef noodles and it was so tasty. So glad I found them. read more

I thought this would be a typical Chinese restaurant but it was actually really clean for a Chinese place and the food was up to par. I got the flaming spicy chicken due to the pass reviews and it was actually really good since I love spicy food. Also i got the BBQ fried rice and it was good. I couldn't finish and I packed it to go and it was yummy. This place was a great experience for a new Chinese place in the heart of Downtown. I would recommend this if you like spicy food. Ordered delivery, so I cannot speak to customer service. Got the bbq pork entree, the spicy beef and mushrooms and veggie fried rice. The portion size for the bbq pork was pathetic and extremely small (smaller than what I would expect for an appetizer), although it tasted good. There were 7 small pieces for $16 (see photo)! The beef was decent, as was the fried rice. Fried rice also had a small portion size, although not to the same extent as the bbq pork. Would not recommend. I was craving Chinese food after wandering in Chinatown yesterday. This place was around the corner from our hotel. It was OUTSTANDING. You know a Chinese place is legit when you're surrounded by locals and they're all Asian. The hot tea was delightful. We started with the spring rolls, which were good and had a tasty sauce. I had chicken with broccoli, and I had snow peas added. The brown sauce was absolutely perfect. My friend had sweet and sour chicken, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Every dish that I saw come out of the kitchen looked better than the next. I may have to convince my friend to go back again tomorrow!! read more

FANTASTIC! I Got the dumplings, fresh and delicious. Wish they gave me more orange sauce for my dumps because it was so tasty with good heat. I really wanted to enjoy this place but it was not up to my expectations. I never write bad reviews because I'm not that type of person but the quality of the food I received was astonishing. The green onion pancake was great! I was really excited because it's hard to find a good one when you order delivery and can't eat it right away. The ramen was not up to par at all. The beef in the spicy beef ramen was green on some pieces and had this very weird grey color to it, I couldn't explain it. The taste was very off and it all just smelled weird right when I grabbed my order from the delivery person. I then tried the pork ramen and the meat was still pretty questionable, it smelled and tasted very weird! The noodles in both ramen were thick, cheap noodles that I would never pair with a ramen dish. I was excited about this place because the prices are pretty reasonable for SF. I wasn't expecting the most amazing meal of my life but I would have enjoyed some sort of quality in the food. I hope the owner reads this and pays more attention to the food quality and safety going forward. I am more than willing to try this place out again if these issues are fixed! read more

This visit was a Carry-out and my food tasted great. I'd like to come back to enjoy the dining room & ambiance next time! I would give it a zero but that's not permitted so 1 star it is. My wife order a spicy beef soup, when it arrived she took a few bites/sip of soup and noodles. It was flavorless and pretty gross. She ordered something else and we asked for the dish to be removed from the table. The older woman working there asked if it was no good. My wife was honest and said no it's not good it's flavorless. The woman got mad and told my wife she was wrong it's very good. We have never had or seen an employee or owner (not sure which she was) tell a customer they were wrong about food they tasted. The rest of the food was just okay, it definitely lacks customer service. Bad way to end our San Francisco trip. I would steer clear of this place. read more

However, please be aware of their bills. 15% tip is added automatically to your bill. They didn't say anything about it when they handed us the bill. We only found out when we double tipped and then realized the total number was much higher than expected. Plus, they charge $1.25 for hot tea, and the tea is not with good quality. read more

I especially like the Sweet and Sour Chicken, and the Beef with Snowpeas. The staff is friendly, and not overbearing, and you'll never have to ask for more water. Good food downtown. The two Ladies with me ordered the Flaming Chicken after reading a review stating it wasn't very spicy almost like Medium would be considered (Wrong) it was truly spicy like it should've been a little warm but they both loved it. So good!!! Best Chinese food I have ever had I'm going to be dreaming about the pancake with green onions until I come back to the city. Food came out quickly and super hot! The plate wasn't hot, so I know the food was fresh made and not out of the microwave. I typically hate boba pearls, but my boyfriend got the mango tea with boba and I tried and it was soft and fresh made and I definitely could have had some in my drink. I just got the taro milk tea which was also amazing, and I watched out waitress make it fresh and it was incredible! We got a lot of food, which was a mistake because our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, but we couldn't stop eating I'm leaving the restaurant so satisfied and so full! This is still during Covid, but we both got our vaccines, and the waitress and chefs were all wearing masks so I felt very safe! I'm definitely coming back here and I'll tell everyone to come as well!
