Shiumai - skip, the filling was bland
    Tiffany T.

Good service! We ordered the spicy wontons in chili oil, honey walnut shrimp, beef chow mein, har gow (shrimp dumplings), shiumai, and shanghai soup dumplings. The total was about $113 for our table to feed 2 people. Skip the spicy wontons in chili oil, it was in soup form but the soup was bland and the wonton filling needed more salt. It WAS spicy though so watch for the kick. Honey walnut shrimp was crispy, and not overly sweet. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Beef chow mein was really good, meat was tender and the noodles were flavorful. Hargow was also really good, chewy exterior and filling tasted delicious. Skip the shiumai, it was a let down because the filling was pretty bland. I'd also skip on the shanghai soup dumplings because they were a bit overcooked and did not have any more soup in them by the time we ate them which was a bummer. Overall I'd revisit if I were in the area out of convenience but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here since there are a ton of dimsum spots in SF. Service was good, it's a casual spot to get a bite of dimsum until 9:30pm!

Food was really good and service was awesome! Definitely recommend! The restaurant has family friendly ambiance. I recommend many tourists to visit!!

Was happy to find a Chinese restaurant across the street from the Parc 55 Ordered sweet and sour chicken and a side of white rice to go. Server was sweet and told me to sit down while waiting. Food came out quickly. They charge 75¢ for the to-go bag. It was a good portion size and tasted good.

Great, easy-access location. Nice interior, but I ordered out. Woman taking my order was very friendly and helpful. Wonton soup was majestic...SO good! We also had chicken chow mein which was good, but nothing special. Broccoli beef was very flavorful and beef was extremely tender; surprisingly, this did not come with steamed rice. We had green onion pancakes that were savory and delicate - very good. The pork fried rice was good tasting, but had less barbecued pork in it than we had expected. All in all, very good and well priced.

After a long day of traveling from the East coast, we wanted something simple and easy for dinner. King Kee was across the street from Parc 55 where we were staying and was the perfect stop. We arrived a little early for dinner and were one of two tables, but within 30 minutes the place was full. I love that they have all the models of the dishes out in the window and the staff were very nice throughout our dinner. We started with shanghai dumplings (aka XLB) and some hot tea. Then I had the pork chow main and got it spicy. It was the perfect comfort food after a long day and we both had a little left over for a late night snack. We planned on going again during our stay but ran out of time. I saw someone with the roast duck and it looked amazing... maybe next time.

I've got food from this place many times but this time did dine in. This restaurant is mediocre. I would love to give them 4 stars if the food taste a little bit better. The restaurant location is pretty good. Close to union square. The menu here is typically Chinese food that you would find any other place. The restaurant seem pretty slow. The service was good , only one person there and the food was fast. I got beef chow fun that I requested spicy , it was not bad. The hot and sour soup was nice but the fried rice was just ok. It's another place that you could stop by if you wanted some Chinese in the area. But if you expect a better experience, I would recommend you to go to China town. There is a lot more good Chinese food there.

    wonton bug

I door dashed from here and unfortunately had a bad experience. i had a literal bug in my food that was in my wonton soup :( this was so disappointing and i hope i can get some sort of refund :/

Excellent tasting food - wonderful service - very affordable prices. I ordered two types of dumplings a special ordered their chow fun - "house style" which is not on the menu but just ask for it. The food was hot and fresh. The chow fun tasted amazing and was more than enough for 2 people to enjoy. The dumplings were out of this world. I ordered the shrimp dumplings and the traditional pork dumplings. The service is great. They were very attentive and very nice. The food came out quickly. I Galt recommend eating here.

Quick stop for some Chinese food. Not too many tables occupied consider the hour and the day at the time I walked in, but a constant in and out of food delivery kids...good sign. I ordered a classic spicy kung pao chicken with white steamed rice. Good dish, fresh ingredients very kind service. Don't get scared by the plastic made sample dishes in the window.. nothing like what you'll get on the table.. lol

18% gratuity for a party of 4. I would have left that much any way but don't force it. We had non-sashimi sushi and it was good.

The Spicy Garlic Pork with vegetables was HOT and there was no escape: Like an opponent's chess pieces trying to grab your king, one bite after the next puts you in jeopardy. It was a good kind of peril. The Chow Mein Select noodles with lots of fresh crunchy vegetables was nicely executed with firm, plump chow mein. It was a very generous helping. I thanked my stars for the relief of white rice. The quart of hot and sour soup will have to wait until tomorrow, so much delicious food. For vegetarians, lots of menu options for you as well as those looking for unique dumplings and lots of offal dishes for those who crave it. Ambience is fresh, polished, non-touristy yet in the very heart of Chinatown where this is not always guaranteed. Locals and visitors alike, bookmark this restaurant. It's your typical hole-in-the-wall spot, but that doesn't really bear any significance when it comes to rating the food. GARLIC PEA SPROUTS ~ The greens were not very tender and weren't easy to chew. Flavor was also a little bland. 3/5 SALT AND PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS LUNCH PLATE ~ The 5 wings were crispy and crunchy, but small in size. The chicken meat was dry, and the flavor was basically just salt and jalapeño peppers. On the plus side, you get all flats, which I prefer over drumettes. I think I should have gotten the wings as an appetizer (6 wings) rather than as a lunch plate (5 wings) with white rice. If you opt for chow mein or fried rice instead of plain rice, you'll have to pay an extra $3. The menu says soup is included, but we were not offered any. However, an egg roll is given with all lunch plates. PORK CHOPS WITH BLACK PEPPER SAUCE ~ My guy ordered this and thought it was good. The pork chops were nicely fried in a light batter and then covered with a savory black pepper sauce. There was a generous amount of meat. No soup was given or offered with this dish either. 4/5 Social media likes to advertise and sometimes overhype certain restaurants. Honestly, I thought this was an average spot, nothing extraordinary or spectacular. The food, service and prices were okay. Though I'm on the fence about whether I'd visit again, as nothing was particularly memorable or enticing.
